I come here every time whenever I am in the city and they never let me down. Throughout the years they even improved the variety of the buffet.

We have ordered cat fish curry which was tasty and chilli chicken which was not fresh and smells.

Very close to the centre of Freudenstadt, and good value too. Service was attentive and prompt. Best to go for a named dish, like Chicken Makhani, as the basic curry was rather simple and not as spicy or refined as the average restaurant you'd find in Britain. That said, quality overall was good, and portions were generous, and it made a pleasant change from schnitzel or wurst!

Nice place for a lunch, we were too late for the buffet so we had à la carte good lunch for an okay price but not the best Indian I had in the area.

We ordered takeout and the food was well packed. We all like what we ordered- refreshing mango lassis and delicious food, friendly service.

Real Indian food. And that means even as a vegan you'll get something to eat. Nice. The location is unfortunate and the parking situation not as good as you might wish. But more important is the friendly personal and the nice interior.

Ambience is very nice , Rajsthani style,. Staff were really friendly . Food was okay , I tried samosa chat(it was the best), and the veg korma and panner curry was just good. Mango lassi wasn't that great , i don't recommend it. Overall 5 ⭐ for ambience and 4 ⭐ for food.

Great, especially if you ar vegetarian, vegan or lactose intolerant. Me, I had the Thali with lamb palak and dahl and it was delicious 🤤

I recently dined at the Himalaya restaurant and left with a sense of disappointment regarding the service. The evening started well with our main course, but we encountered issues when we tried to order sweet dishes. We were discouraged from doing so, which was off-putting. To add to the disappointment, we were asked to leave early as other guests were waiting to be seated outside. While I understand the need for efficient table turnover, guests should not be rushed out. A little more consideration for our dining experience would have been appreciated. In the end, it's important for restaurants to remember that guests are guests, and they should be treated with courtesy and respect. I hope the Himalaya restaurant takes this feedback into account and works on improving their service to provide a more enjoyable experience for all customers. The food was great and reminds us of authentic Indian cuisine we enjoy back home.
