Very nice town with an unbelievably beautiful small lake. Definitely worth a visit

This is a beautiful place! Blautopf is a natural sinkhole so deep with water so clear the colour is breathtaking. Blautopf is in the grounds of an ancient though fully functional monestery which features guided tours or if as a personal preference you can walk the path to the cliff top for a spectacular view. There is a gift shop and restaurants which offer reasonably priced food and drinks both hot and cold.

It wasn't blue waters when we visited. Because of rains past few days. Good place for a small getaway from nearby cities. Can hike a bit in the woods. But nothing much to do here.

Nice town.. the gorgeous blue water is the main attraction.. A good stop on a road trip ..

A beautiful place with a small lake amidst the nature. It's calm and quite there and a nice place to visit solo or with friends or family. Nature accepts everybody 😇 Don't miss this place if you are visiting Ulm.

I visited in autumn it was colourful hike indeed around Blaubeuren. City is also very beautiful we planned for half day there is free parking nearby (must be lucky to find) there is also paid parking available.

Small monastery in the forest, with a charming watermill.The colours of the small lake are playing incredible tones of the green.By the legend , a fairy is living in the lake.
