Unfortunately the parking lot nearby is not accessible because the road access is restricted.

Lovely spot to relax and take a dip. Fairly easy walk for those who aren't big on hiking. Nice place to walk the dog too

The Mathisleweiher is one of the most scenic destinations for Hinterzarten residents and visitors. Unfortunately, the peaceful experience is sometimes disturbed by juvenile hooligans who go there for drinking and smoking. They tend to appear in the evening hours, so best enjoy this natural paradise in the morning or during the day.

Beautiful natural lake with the possibility of swimming but with very cold water. There is limited space to lie down. The surrounding trees guarantee shade all day.
