Always go here when visiting Baden-Baden Good value for money.

I find some Kauflands have better flow than this one. Others either have a better selection or perhaps in this one I just cant find what i want. Eg... in Saarland they have all the vegan and vegetarian grouped together better . But essentially it has what i want, which is as much vegan as possible. Lots of room for improvement but i like it better than all other local stores. And yes... all weather, covered, free parking is great too. They will get a five star from me when they stock 'Parmaveggio' (an italian vegan parmegianno that may possibly be the best vegan cheese on the planet and better than real cheese.) I would like to see more vegan grill mock meat which they have in Saarland but i cant find here.

This is a large grocery store with a few smaller stores in the periphery, such as a locksmith, a news stand, a florist and a baker. The grocery itself ist large and well stocked as can be expected from the chain. The place is well frequented and due to the placing of the aisles feels congested. The parking lot also feels pretty cramped. It's a one stop shop on most occasions and practical, but not a pleasant atmosphere allround. I recall the store twenty years ago when it was occupied by the predeceding chain and it seemed more spacious and relaxed then.

Shopping is ok. Parking is sufficient. Negative: to much people the whole day. There is a charge station for electric cars but is always busy with the same car or doesn't work.

As an American tourist, my wife and I chose to shop here for a few groceries for our stay in town. We had no problems locating what we needed as the layout was very similar to an American store (dairy/produce/dry goods etc). There is plenty of parking. The clerk even had some spare boxes to put our groceries in as we were unaware we needed our own. The clerk was very friendly despite the language barrier.

Some times the prices one pays @ check out is higher than shown on display.mostly no overview,but spread out without knowing where to find things.

1. Dogs, even if they're in a backpack, are not allowed (in 2018 it'a shame) 2. The Clerks do not speak English, but only German, and they are very rough 3. The prices for general goods are a bit above the average 4. The price for the mineral water is simply ridiculous (way to high).
