Lidellplatz is a delightful spot in the Karlsruher Innenstadt - Ost. In a densely populated area, it provides an oasis of calm. You will find benches under a big spreading tree, a Bücherschrank where you can bring your old books and take others back home. While it's not exactly Parisian, it has a certain flair. There is a coffee bar (Café Bohne), a late night cocktail bar (Carlos) and, for in between, a comfortable pub/restaurant (zum Kleinen Ketterer) which puts tables out in summer. Add to that an intriguing antiques store and an excellent potter, you have Lidellplatz in allen nutshell!
