What a wonderful relaxing place for live music in the wonderful town of Gruene. We went here to listen to a Jazz band a couple of months ago and it was so much fun! So happy to find this hidden gem of a place. The stage is surrounded by small tables. It's very casual and you can order drinks. They also have a gourmet ice cream shop around the corner so we treated ourselves to some of the most delicious ice cream with the most unusual but most amazing flavors. Would love to go back again to hear more bands and walk around this quaint but amazing town of Gruene.

Live band and packed house on Saturday night. Yummy temperature appropriate drinks! Ask the bartender about the secret lower level to their left ;) Pet friendly above ground and awesome picture opportunities. Friendly staff. This was a stop on a bachelorette night out and we met a lot of friendly locals.

Fantastic place, the atmosphere is so great. Customer service is great. Also, the Wurst food truck 🛻 is awesome. Food is great. Live music is phenomenal. In general this place is worth the visit.

We went here for some drinks after we ate at another restaurant. The back patio area is very open, with plenty of tables along with some firepits. There was a band playing, lots of family's there, and even some dogs came out! The service was great, we never had to wait long for drinks. You can also go to where they sell I've cream, which we did get. It was a pleasant cool down in the extremely hot weather. The location is perfect if you're in Gruene, it's centrally located right next to Gruene Hall.

Wonderful little spot with a great atmosphere and vibe. Very kid and dog friendly! A bratwurst wagon, old tyme ice cream parlor, and a Speak easy located in the basement!!! This place packs a punch and you won't soon forget it. Toss so bags out back, very short wait time for drinks and this is the spot. Enjoy the live music and don't be afraid to bring your own chairs cuz this place is lively and sometimes pretty busy. Enjoy!

Customer service was eh minus 1 star....the line is long ling and in the blazing sun no shad eu til you get to the bar so thats minus 1 star. The drink was delicious and nice and snacky like a bloody mary should be

I have a new music stop in Gruene!! I love the outdoor stage, tree cover, and multiple craft beer taps. I will be back.

Tried out the Gurene Grove today for lunch. What a great little place. Loved the lit fire pits, live music, two places to get drinks, and a little place for food. We decided to have the German brat and Italian sausage on pretzel buns. The Italian was good, but the German braut was fantastic! The braut with the mustard and kraut was something to come back for! Would have loved for the buns to be warm. It would have added to the taste but was still good. This is a good place to stop while exploring Gurene.

Husband, myself and our daughter discovered this adorable venue this past Sunday and cannot say enough great things about it. They had live music (The Prairie Rattlers) playing, the coolest little rockabilly band. There are multiple bars scattered around the Grove and the one we had a tab at had amazing service. The lovely staff would see me in line, remembered my tables drinks and had em ready in seconds everytime I went up there. I started with a bloody mary which was SO FRIGGIN GREAT! My daughter had lemonade which was awesome too! Their food truck that is onsite is great as well, pretzel bun with the brat was great! Highly Recommend.

We love bringing our pup out places and enjoy coming to the grove for good music, drinks, and to meet new friends. I was especially impressed with one of the bartenders (I’m so sorry for forgetting your name) who primarily works in the back bar. He once saw that our dog, Fischer, was getting hot and panting that he went and got an air conditioning unit that usually is placed behind the bar counter towards Fischer. We tipped him extra for taking care of our pup and will tell everyone about our experience. ❤️ much love from the McLaughlin family

Loved this little area! Great vibe, kids had a blast with the live music, and we had a blast with tiny bars and food. Rhea’s ice cream was delicious; the food truck was awesome! The atmosphere was on point, not too crazy. We never had to yell at the friends we were visiting with, which was quite lovely. Dog friendly as well!

Great place for a cold beer and good music. Super cool staff and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. We didn’t want to leave but we will be back for sure.

Who left these 5 star reviews?? Just a few food options and whatever you order is not very good. We went there because the patio looked fun in the pictures but once we were there it was honestly boring, no live music or music at all. I wish I would’ve tried the drinks but I couldn’t stay longer after the first beer.

Bill - Unbelievable atmosphere. Whatever you are doing. Keep it up. We had a blast tonight and just wanted to stop by to thank you for the hospitality. We had our first date here and 2 years later got married here. The Gruene Grove is like a second home. The atmosphere, vibe and family are top notch. Look no further when in the area…this place has it all and is family friendly! Cheers!

CLEAN FUN!!! It was great entertainment good seating with a nice clean environment for the family and at night a cool environment for a date. I always come here because of the options I have for food and drinks and I've never had a bad experience.

Blues Jam..must see !! Awesome day with various band members..supporting the cause..music in schools, etc !! A definite must every month !! Update : July 7, 2023 Great Friday night at the Grove ! Smokehouse Guitar Army ! Looking forward to Ace Pepper Saturday and as always Blues Jam on Sunday ! The atmosphere, the Blues bands and the staff of the Grove are awesome !
