It's a good restaurant, they have a good service. I tried their Pina colada, and it's so good. Just to inform you, they don't have a military discount.

The food was delicious. My wife had roasted garlic shrimp with cilantro lime sauce with grilled vegetables and rice and a single Skinny margarita- both were wonderful. I had the Diablo chicken with rice and beans with a top shelf margarita. My chicken was delicious although I was anticipating a little more heat and the margarita adequate. A little sad we missed happy hour by 10 minutes - it ends at 6:30 weekdays M- F (could have saved $2.00 per margarita). Megan D was an exceptional waitress - very friendly and efficient. Would be nice to list drink prices on menu along with the food prices. Not sure why this was left off menus. We would definitely return.

We visited last night for my Birthday dinner. Alexis was sooo nice and went above and beyond. The Chimichanga is MY absolute favorite meal My granddaughter had the Chalupa and Alexis brought her lettuce and tomato to make her dinner really yummy. My hubs loves the Shrimp Tacos

Always great service and delicious food every time I visit this Adobe Cafe. The beer on tap is cold and served in a chilled mug. The staff always have a smile and acknowledge you the moment you enter the room. The food is always as ordered and actually arrives extremely fast. I will be a frequent visitor to this Adobe Cafe. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant if you want delicious and authentic Mexican food at a decent price; and you want it served by friendly and courteous professionals. A+ service every time!

When most of the mom and pop restaurants were closing at 3pm, we decided to pop into here. We were immediately seated. I had to laugh as they had a sign on the wall that listed there was a 50 minute time limit for lunch and a 70 minute time limit for dinner. I inquired about it to the hostess. She told me they really did not enforce that rule. On one hand, I understand that time is money and you want folks to eat and go. On the other hand, it is kinda hard core for you even to post something like that. I would had to be continuing looking at my watch going, "Come on, lets hurry up, they are going to throw us out." I was not very hungry, so I ordered a flauta and tortilla soup. It came with a side of refried beans, which was a nice touch. The beans had an amazing flavor to them. The soup was very filling. I appreciated they brought flour tortillas to the table, which were homemade. The fajita meat for the nachos were also very flavorful. I was impressed they used actual cheddar cheese and did not cheap out and try to pass off "American Cheese" as authentic. The service was amazing. We were in and out well within our 50 minute time limit. I appreciated the server's attention to detail. Overall, this is a great little lunch spot to grab lunch or dinner when you are craving Mexican food and are not sure where to go.

Excellent food and service. My enchiladas had fresh sauted spinach, onions and mushrooms, so hard to find. The salsa and tortillas were better then most by far. My husband got a combo with a shrimp and a fresh fish taco and he loved it. Nice slices of avocado came on both our plates. Our kids were boring and got chicken strips but they gobbled them up.

Really enjoyed our dinner! The service was wonderful and the food was equally wonderful. The chips had a nice texture and crunch, along with the queso made a great start. My chimichanga was nice, but maybe a little more crispy would have made it perfect. The fish tacos were good. It was all tasty and very good size, nobody left hungry!

Dropped in for a quick bite for lunch and was not disappointed! Service was great. Food was delicious. Skinny margarita was absolutely tasty too! First time here and was worth the stop. Parking was easy and restaurant was larger than what it appeared outside. No mistakes with food order and it was also brought out in a timely manner.

We went to Adobe Cafe Sunday after church with some friends. The food came out cooked perfectly just as we ordered them. We got the beef fajitas and they were great! Our waitress was awesome! She was really attentive and just all around good. Very pleasurable experience. We love this place!! We will be back soon.

Out of town on vacation with my kids and we stopped here for dinner. The restaurant is clean. Our server was one of the best I have had in a very long time…she was a young lady I wish I could remember her name. The food was outstanding. I got beef fajitas and my kids got the enchiladas. I don’t know if we were just that hungry after a day of tubing but the food was outstanding…I was wishing our local Mexican restaurant back home was that good. Enjoyed a great frozen margarita as well. I will definitely return when I am in the area again.

Fajitas were awesome. Service was not great but it was busy so can't complain to much. Everyone in my party seamed to enjoy their food as much as I did

Excellent food and service. Atmosphere was a bit underwhelming but I think we were sat in the spillover area or something. The main dining room and bar looked a bit more put together.

Loved that your restaurant had vegan options! The meals were so delicious! And service from Andres was excellent! Next time we take a trip from San Antonio to the Stars and Stripes drive in, Adobe Cafe will be our go to for some amazing food! Thank you!

Wanted to try someplace new today, so here we are. Absolutely a busy place. We came Saturday afternoon and had a 10 minute wait for 2 people. So plan ahead and realize you will have a wait. I have tried several Mexican restaurants since we have moved to Texas, and this place, by far, has the best salsa yet! Not all mush like most places. Had a little kick, but not so much that you are on fire. We would have actually purchased it if they had it up for sale. We both had taco plates. My spouse had the beef taco platter, and I had the fajita platter. Apparently, the beef tacos were amazing. They were inaliated very quickly. The Fajitas were good. They had a lot of flavor from the marinade and were very tender. I was a bit disappointed that they were just plain chicken and no onions and peppers. Any time I order fajitas, they come with onions and peppers. The homemade tortillas were amazing as well. The biggest shout-out goes to our server! I asked her name so I could put it on her, but I suck with names. I believe it was Julianna. She was amazing! One thing I've noticed since moving here is that servers don't necessarily pay attention to people who don't drink. We generally have to ask for them to refill my water or tea. Here I didn't have to. This young lady definitely took care of my drink and anything else we needed.

These are their $18 fajita nachos... 5 corn tortillas chopped in half... fried flat, w a little meat and refried beans, throw some chopped lettuce in the middle of the plate w a dollop of guacamole. Was it worth 18 bucks? Not at all. You'd hope if they were that expensive, at least the flavor would be on point. Probably won't ever go back, not impressed with the food or prices.

The salsa was awesome. Good flavor and a nice spicy kick. I ordered enchiladas, and they were good. I've been to many restaurants all over the area. There aren't many that I would recommend, but this one is definitely on the list of recommendations.
