Quick order walk up style restaurant. Line moved quickly and menu was clear. Food was brought out quickly. Seafood Platter was excellent. The stuffed shrimp was delicious and great sized. Fried shrimp and white fish were good as well. Ordered ceciche as well that was plentiful and tasty, served with sturdy chips to hold the fish. An excellent seafood choice for great food without the long sit down wait!

Based in San Antonio,this new spot by the biggest Buccess in Texas is might fine. Good place to get some twangy seafood or Relax with tap or margaritas. Been here a few times for them tasty vittles and then some.

The catfish was delicious, the okra was sublime, don't even get me started on their fried shrimp🤤 the hush puppies were crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside, the clam chowder was amazing too. I will come back again and again for sure, it's so hard to find good seafood for a decent price. And the service was very prompt and everyone was so polite❤️

The food at this place is so AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!! Everyone is very nice. It’s definitely worth the price you pay to eat here. Also the food came out very quickly. We received our food within 10 minutes from placing our order.

Thank you for not changing much over the years. We have been going to sea island in San Antonio for years and this is a chip off the old block. We enjoyed lunch and will be back. My only complaint is they got rid of the shrimp platter I always got. Girls loved the fish bites so everyone was happy. Super friendly staff and clean restaurant. Thank you and see you guys soon.

The service was good and the shrimp and hushpuppies were decent but the salad looked like a salad they give to people in middle school. I would go back to get the jumbo shrimp for sure but I wont be ordering a salad.

Took about 15 minutes to get my food out which seemed slow at first but it came out super fresh and delicious. Got the lemon pepper fish and grilled shrimp platter... perfect!

What a magnificent place and I'm so happy to have a new location here in New Braunfels. I usually get the fried oyster platter and I can say that I have never been more satisfied out of all the places that I have ordered fried oysters. We are perfectly tasty and perfectly juicy and perfectly fried.... Just like fried oysters should be! It's almost hard to believe how fast the food comes out and it still tastes like it's just come out of the fryer. Everyone in my family loves so many items on the menu. The lobster rolls are very tasty, as well as the catfish and of course the shrimp. The fried seafood is always perfectly salted and I think that means a lot when it comes to getting the perfect taste. A few other cool things are they have beer and margaritas on ice, and they do not annoyingly ask for a tip just for taking your order. They also have waitresses that bring your food to your table and also pick up your plates afterwards. I'm actually very surprised that they don't ask for a tip because they work so and are so helpful. I love the design of this new building how open and spacious it is with clear story windows and a harbor house feel to the interior design. You're going to love this new location!

The shrimp were tasty. Sea Island is a very straight forward shrimp and fish house. It would be even better with a shrimp and catfish plate. They only offer shrimp and pollack. The cole slaw was very light and fresh. This restaurant would be good for the family.

Great place, Food was good, self service, pretty much fast food...but very good! We have been a few times and would return.ambiance is Fast Food, I like the sea food platers and my wife the fish tacos tho are so good

Got a little of our seafood fix today. Dinner was better today than it was yesterday lol! Oysters were oysters, the broil was decent. Flavor wasn't all there, but wasn't bad. Good experience tonight. I can say the gumbo here was better than the gumbo I had yesterday.

The food is always good here. My most recent visit was a weeknight so it wasn't too crowded. Be aware, weekends are very busy here! I had the lemon pepper fish and grilled shrimp. The lemon flavor was really nice and the fish and shrimp tasted fresh. 🍤

Food was delicious. I had the salmon with rice and green beans. Service was on point with food being timely and hot within a brightly lit and clean area. All the condiments you need made this establishment perfection.

My order was wrong but it was corrected immediately, the food was hot and taste fabulous. The restaurant was very clean and I loved that it was large and no bumping chairs to sit down. My family met some old friends there also. We had a wonderful lunch, I recommend sea island to anyone who wants great sea food!!

Went for a birthday promo, not what it was a year ago. Coleslaw was dry, hushpuppies were cold and hard, and chicken "strips" looked like nuggets. Told the staff about the cold hushpuppies and they offered to microwave them, making them harder than they were before. Bad, unpleasant experience. Now I understand the bad reviews.

Every single staff member I came into contact with was so nice. Extremely nice! Like I would like to work there lol The appetizer I got was not on the menu it was just flashing on a screen and it was a shrimp cocktail with shrimp and that was DELICIOUS. The crab was okay but I like spicy Cajun seafood. To make it better I dipped the crab in the juice from the shrimp cocktail and that was delicious. I think that should be a dish. Lol the charbroiled shrimp was good. I would definitely return …. If I’m in town again

I've had good times eating here. The place is usually clean, the staff is very nice, and the food great, I really enjoyed the shrimp, crab legs, and oysters. The inside has a great atmosphere, it is bigger on the inside than I thought. This was a great pick for couple's night out. I will be coming back in the future, and recommend others try it.

Good seafood restaurant right off of I35 next to Buc-ee's. We have seen this place at many a gas stop at Buc-ee's and decided to stop in as we were passing by around dinner time. Nice, clean place with friendly staff. Shrimp was tasty, okra and fries were crisp and just right. Check this place out for yourswlf if you're in the area and need a bite.

We had teriyaki salmon & shrimp, bowl of shrimp gumbo, crab & shrimp boil & Aransas platter. Service was great & friendly & food was delicious!

What a great seafood spot here in the hill country. We had the Aransas Platter and the Grilled Shrimp Platter. The grilled shrimp was amazing, and the fried shrimp was decent. The fries and hush puppies were cooked well just no seasoning. All in all, I will be back, loved it.

I visited this location and was very happy with the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. All staff wore masks appropriately and were very friendly. I ordered the Kabob and it was perfect. I am so glad kabobs are back on the menu. I was truly impressed with the entire experience. Willy the Manager is always friendly and runs a tight ship. Very happy with this place I did not know they close at 8:30pm I got here at 8:25pm and they went above and beyond to make My order. definitely coming back here. Is been my fav place since I was a kid, but the location was in Austin Texas the last time I visit this restaurant. 🙌🏻 the manager Willie smith was great and staff are friendly and great. And the food is awesome very clean place. 👍🏻
