For
a
$200/
night
hotel,
I
expected
more.
The
good
things:
Received
a
pool
/
river
view
room
away
from
elevator
as
requested.
Received
a
complimentary
breakfast
from
bistro
due
to
breakfast
was
posted
online
as
included,
but
actually
wasn't.
Weekend
manager
comped
us
a
breakfast;
however,
on
Monday
morning,
the
regular
manager
questioned
this,
asking
us
why
we
received
this?
Weird
question.
The
property
is
nice.
It
is
riverfront,
but
you
can't
actually
float
anywhere
because
all
of
the
properties
beyond
it
are
private
property,
and
there
aren't
any
public
river
exits
beyond
the
hotel,
so
the
best
you
can
do
is
to
tie
off
and
float.
Cons:
Small
pool
and
hot
tub
that
seem
to
stay
crowded
with
kids
that
are
unruly,
using
foul
language,
squirt
guns,
throwing
water
with
cups,
diving,
splashing
water
on
everyone,
screaming,
and
running
on
the
pool
deck
well
past
9pm,
and
such
that
no
adults
can
enjoy
the
pool
at
night.
I
did
report
this
to
the
managers
on
duty
at
the
time,
but
they
never
even
came
to
see
what
was
going
on,
which
was
very
disappointing.
I
feel
like
the
hotel
should
close
the
pool
and
hot
tub
to
kids
under
18
after
8pm
so
adults
can
use
it
until
10pm.
Another
disappointment
was
that
there
were
lobby
signs
indicating
that
the
hotel
would
serve
special
drinks
and
have
additional
grill
options
outside
for
the
4th
of
July,
as
they
do
have
an
outdoor
serving
area.
Later,
the
manager
said
they
changed
the
grill
specials
to
be
at
the
Bistro
because
the
outdoor
grill
was
in
"
bad
shape
".
When
we
called
down
to
the
bistro
on
the
4th
for
the
bistro
specials,
we
were
told
there
weren't
any;
Nor
was
there
any
live
music
or
drink
specials
as
advertised.
Surely
the
Marriott
can
afford
to
upgrade
a
broken
grill
and
make
sure
to
have
staff
available
for
the
special
events
advertised
to
their
guests.
How
disappointing
and
utterly
ridiculous!!!
We
also
requested
maid
service
daily,
but
never
received
it
once
during
our
stay,
and
had
to
raid
the
maid
cart
several
times
just
to
get
our
room
restocked
with
towels,
toilet
paper,
and
coffee.
I
even
spoke
directly
to
the
maid
on
our
hall,
requesting
our
room
cleaned
that
day.
She
stated
that
yes,
she
would,
but
upon
our
return
from
the
river
4
hrs
later,
she
was
gone,
and
we
had
to
call
down
to
get
fresh
towels,
which
were
"
Still
in
the
dryer
and
not
available.
"
and
toilet
paper.
After
a
2nd
call,
the
front
desk
did
eventually
deliver
them.
Overall,
it's
a
beautiful
property,
there
are
some
nice
people
working
there,
food
from
the
bistro
is
good
and
convenient.
Beds
are
comfortable
and
location
is
nice.
For
the
price,
I
would
have
expected
better
housekeeping
services,
and
better
and
more
responsive
management
to
issues
involving
amenities
and
guest
services.
I
would
likely
look
for
an
adult
only
property
next
time.
It
is
hard
to
relax
when
the
property
is
overrun
with
ill
behaved
kids,
and
managers
do
absolutely
nothing
when
guests
complain.
