The hotel was one of the best I have been in, it is quiet, the rooms were very spacious and clean. The only issue was that the sink water pressure was low, and per most hotels, the shower door always seemed to leak water on the floor. But the room was great size. I wish i was in the area longer. I would stay again and recommend this location.

Megan checked us in. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Both Megan and Hillary answered our questions and gave us helpful information about the Wurstfest we had come to town for. Megan offered to look into transportation for us and called our room once she had obtained the information. Hillary helped us out with some toiletries that needed to be replenished in our room. Both of these women provided exceptional service.

The place was spotlessly clean, but there was not a single USB port to be found in my room. I had to go to the nearby Walgreens and buy a charger for my phone, since I didn't have one with me. Seems like, in this day and age, hotels should provide at least a bedside lamp with a USB socket. Picked the hotel off the app because I was in town for a family anniversary event, and the location was good. The hotel was nice and quiet, too, despite the fact that it was right on the interstate.

As a Truck Driver the most difficult part of finding a hotel facility is ensuring that they welcome Truck drivers and our extremely long and cumbersome vehicles. Fortunately, Fairfield Inn and Suites in New Braunfels was an ideal place. It is located right off of I-35S. The entrance is just wide enough to make a safe and proper turn into their property. I was able to navigate through their lot and park my truck safely in the rear of their ample parking lot. If you are a truck driver and need a good place to rest, either for just a 10 hr. reset or your 34 hour reset, I highly recommend the Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott in New Braunfels.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Could have used more than 3 pillows on a bed but no other complaints. Would go back if in need of a room the area.

We had a nice stay, felt safe, and the breakfast was delicious! The hotel had great energy with families going tubing. Our room was nicely appointed and was clean with a comfortable bed and bedding.

Wow is all I can say and not a good wow. This is greed at its finest. Fairfield Inn has disappointed time and time again. Where does the outrageous room rate money go??? CLEARLY not to the upkeep and upgrading their hotels. From Louisiana, Illinois, and now Texas, itā€™s been the same old, outdated, poorly maintained rooms. The rooms look like something from the 70s show, carpet outdated, whoā€™s still using wall paper these days honestly šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø, the shower is in need of a makeover, water doesnā€™t get hot (Luke warm at best) goodness I can go on and on. Iā€™ve visited this brand at least once a year the past 3 years and Iā€™m done with them. Consistent disappointment. They need to be dropped from Marriott to be honest. As a Titanium member who spends heavily with Marriott every year, Iā€™d expect to never see something this bad. Sadly the room moved too wasnā€™t a substantial improvement smh. It doesnā€™t deserve a single star to be honest. This hotel does not exemplify it cares about its appeal whatsoever. They need to start allowing guest to see these rooms before we commit to staying there. This is ridiculous. All these elaborate photos online and the rooms look nothing like the photos. Iā€™ve literally feel like Iā€™ve been catfished šŸ˜’. I mean honestly, where do you find these furniture sets atšŸ¤”it 2023 for crying out loud. Save your money and go elsewhere. Be better off going to the holiday inn across the parking lot.

Nice lobby area and hotel layout. Rooms were a good size. Good value for the money. A few problems though. The showers were a bit rough, and the handheld shower head was loose, causing it to spray all over the place. I had to tighten it myself. One of the wall lamps was loose and not standing up straight. And worst of all, our mattress was caved in in the middle, like sleeping in a bowl. It needed to be replaced. Pillows and sheets were good at least. Someone needs to inspect their rooms and do minor repairs or replace mattresses more frequently.

Good location and excellent service by these folks. The front desk lady was very accommodating after my work plans changed by allowing me to adjust my stay. Beth helping out at breakfast was very nice and kept the place clean.

The service staff was terrific, however the floors were dirty and left residue on my feet. Could not walk barefoot in that room because of the dirt. There was a stain on one of the comforters so we chose to sleep on the other bed. The bed was comfy. There were crickets living in the entry light that did not work. At first I thought something was beeping but turns out it was crickets chirping. The service staff again was terrific and was able to get maintenance to stop the running toilet but the whole place needs a deep clean to be honest.

Stayed here recently. My vehicle was stolen from the car park. No contact / support from the Hotel [called them twice]. Spoke with local police and feedback was they regularly found stolen cars dumped in this location. I only stayed here because my normal hotel in the area was full. Never again....

errible experience. Reported to corporate about the experience (especially with the Assistant Manager Brenda) All I ask was for the GM Daniel Pinkerton to call and apologize for my experience as a Gold Member with Marriot, I called him on his cell & texted his cell number without a response. I always enjoy my stay with Marriot locations. I am currently staying right across I 35 in Courtyard by Marriot for 2 weeks straight and everything has been wonderful. Please avoid this Fairfield Inn if possible. This was reported on 4/21/23 to the following person and case number #447517357 Customer Care You Thank you for your feedback, it is very for us. Kind regards, Tania B.

Good experience. They have adopted a "clean your room after 3 days" policy which stinks as you need clean towels when traveling with 4 people. Location is good for the river. Overall ok.

Firstly, I travel to a lot of hotels every year. I usually like to stay in Fairfieldā€™s because of the quality you get. This one though has the Most uncomfortable bed and pillows Iā€™ve ever slept on. My neck and back hurt from trying to sleep. Honestly did more tossing and turning then sleep. The sheets also donā€™t fit the bed and come off the bed it you turn at all. There is a very loud noice coming from the middle of the wall that also keeps you up. The shower you can tell it doesnā€™t get properly cleaned. The air took forever to finally cool the room. Then the breakfast taste like days before cooked. Seems no one wants to eat cause everything sat there for at least 45 minutes while we are the only ones eating. The whole reason I stay in these is for the comfort and breakfast. I would rather spend less on a hotel then come to this one. Fairfield really disappointed me this time.

We arrived and was greeted and given our rooms keys immediately. Once we got in I noticed this hotel needs a few repairs. It was more cosmetic than functional. The wallpaper peeling, the light fixture coming out, water damage at ceiling parts. The rooms come with nice size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and even gel body wash. They smell nice, not to overpowering. When booking it said rooms are serviced daily which was a reason why I chose this place. Upon getting there it's a sign that says it's ever 3 days. I get it that staff is low everywhere but they should make sure to change it on the web site so you know up front as to not be disappointed. The pool room smelled like pure chlorine. Sitting it after 5 mins gave me a headache so we left. The kids eyes were burning afterwards. The ac is cold and the beds are semi comfortable. Price was decent. I would probably go to the one down the street before booking this one again

Our first time staying at a Fairfield inn and we were very happy. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are clean. Several available plugs for charging! My only complaint is I could hear road noise when the tv and a/c were off. Not loud enough to disturb sleep.

The room was beautifully clean, linens were soft and comfy! The shower and bathroom were nice with full size shampoo/body wash/conditioner mounted in the shower for easy access. The breakfast was great and the staff was helpful! The indoor pool and hot tub were great for the kiddos!

11-22-2022 9:00pmish check in lady who was working at the front desk really acted like she didnā€™t wanna be at work. She gave no info about the hotel, breakfast time, checkout time nothing. Itā€™s just like see wanted to be done with me and move on to the next couple. While she was checking me in she keep talking to the older couple behind me, who was also checking in. Room and TV was small not what I expected for $170. Will say Bed and Pillows were comfy. But Just overall experience was sub par. Wonā€™t make the same mistake twice. Marriotts Service is hit or miss lately my experiences have been a Miss!!

Started out a frustration due to booking online through a third-party and the hotel not having what was stated for amenities. Then we were advised that the sister location up the road was the one advertised. Furthermore, a king suite was booked and there were none upon checking in. After being advised that we were moved to a queen suite, we discovered a room with 2 "queen" beds (That appeared like full beds). I was upset and made it known, yet Shawna was doing everything she could to resolve the matter and was going to let upper management know. Then 10 mins in, we get a call to the room and there was a cancelation for a King. Upon clearing up the room situation, things began to simmer down. At least I still had my hut tub. Our experience was great because of all the personable recommendations from Shawna, not once did she lead us astray. She fixed the experience and that was all I wanted. Thank you to Michelle at breakfast also because the waffles were not being served a day and she went out of her way to accommodate me. We will return and stay here. Would have given 5 stars but the rooms are a bit outdated and smell kinda old. We sprayed Scentsy all the time. I took this down to two stars when my card was charged twice for the full amount (Which mind you they messed up my room reservation and moved me).

Love the aroma when you immediately walk in. Kylie at the front desk was polite, personable and funny! The beds were very comfy and it was a peaceful stay. Good breakfast selection too! I recommend this hotel.

We travel to New Braunfels monthly and have stayed here several times. Tonight we had a HUGE cockroach in our room. After trying to catch it for 30 minutes it went under the bed. Oh gosh no! We quickly changed rooms. Unfortunately, this is the second time staying here that we've had a cockroach in our room. The first time the cockroach crawled up the headboard and almost into my hair. What are the odds it would happen again? Doesnā€™t take a genius to figure out they have a huge problem here! We will NEVER stay here again!

Perfect stay for what we needed! The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was beyond friendly. The star of the hotel was definitely the breakfast and kitchen staff. The waffles and spinach quiche were actually some of the best Iā€™ve ever had. I even saw the lady checking the internal temperature of the food sitting out to make sure it was fresh! One morning they had a coffee truck parked out front as well. Overall very impressed with this hotel and would be back.

Simply amazing. in the dead middle of the night after having to leave another hotel site to it being infested with spiders, the Marriott took myself and my 2 friends in. The last in the front was absolutely perfect. She was sweet. She got us checked in and to our room super fast. The next morning when we came down for breakfast before our event, they were so welcoming and pleasant. They made our stay there feel so nice. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with Toiletries. The ac was ice cold. It was an overall great stay.

We had booked another hotel but decided it was not clean or modern enough so we headed to Fairfield Inn and Suites in New Braunfels. Realizing it was the Easter weekend, we felt we wouldnā€™t get a room. However, we were wrong. The staff got us a room and the accommodations were ok. The staff was friendly and VERY courteous! We would recommend Fairfield Inn & Suites to anyone looking for a hotel.

Room, breakfast, service was all good. My trip didnā€™t get ruined until the last night of my 6 night stay. I am almost 100% sure one of the housekeepers stole my charging block! Will not be back.

You must stay at this hotel if youā€™re in the New Braunfels area. Hope and Kristina are the absolute best! We did a last-minute trip and we had no reservations! BUT they helped us, gave us EXCELLENT service, and a great deal! We are definitely coming back!!

Nice hotel. The staff was friendly but was always promising and never delivering....we needed a bandaid and they said they said they would bring it right up....never happened. Asked for a few extra towels and that never happened. But, everyone is understaffed these days so we didn't get upset. The room was great, very spacious and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Would definitely stay again, but we will remember to bring bandaidsšŸ¤£

I stayed here for 6 nights (5/14 to 5/20). Everything was great. The room was clean, I had plenty of towels, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. I could have requested my room to be cleaned throughout my stay but I was fine. If I needed towels or any other amenities I just requested them and they would either bring them up or I can pick them up at the desk. Check-in was easy and staff that I met throughout my stay was very courteous and extremely nice. I ate breakfast there four days out of the six. I follow a keto diet and was able to eat the bell pepper frittata, boiled eggs, yogurt with nut topping and there was also a spinach egg bites. A few times I got the sausage biscuit and just ate the sausage. They also had sugar waffles, toast, danishes, Cereals and oatmeal too. Overall, I have no idea why there are poor reviews. My room was 303 which was perfect and I was at the very back. I could hear some of the freeway traffic but once you turn on your air condition or any other type of noise in the room that outside noise was nothing to be bothered by. If I ever return to the area, I will definitely stay here again. There was ample parking outside, very lit for safety, the elevators work well, and I love having the refrigerator and microwave in the room. I am a solo female traveler and felt extremely safe being there.

So noisy! 35 is right outside the window. We're on the 3rd floor and it sounds like the cars in the room with us. Even the cars in the parking lot of the hotel next to us are loud. The room was so cold we thought we'd never get warm. Thermostat was set on 59Ā° when we entered. Bed is fairly comfy. Room is large and I appreciate the generous closet space.
