These facilities are amazing. I've been here 2 weeks and still finding amenities I had not seen yet. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere between all the guests. They constantly have events for kids and adults, from "foam parties" to karaoke at night. Food and drink vendors come on site often, they even have a general store on the grounds. A person could literally stay here for weeks without ever leaving and have a great time. 2 pools 2 hot tubs. Too many other amenities to name!! The Best RV Park in the area (in the nation probably)

We stayed here in late 2021 for a few weeks while visiting the area and we loved it. The indoor pool, outdoor pool and gym with indoor hot tub are amazing for an RV park. We loved it so much, we are visiting again soon for long term. A couple critiques are: - The game room is completely coin operated only. No free games. - The price of laundry is standard market price but it’s cheaper if you drive a bit. - Some of the items in the gym were broken. - There are a lot of fire ants. All in all it’s a really great place with very friendly staff. One of the best RV parks we’ve been to.

Attended a family reunion. We didn't stay on site, but the location was very nice, clean, family friendly and offered several amenities. We would love to visit the property again for a more extended stay. Good proximity to nearby attractions and a really laid back atmosphere.

This place was super cool! We stayed for the weekend with our baby in the 2 person cabin. It was small obviously but enough room. There are a lot of amenities, the outdoor pool is huge. The lawn area is cool for the kids to play, they had some cute activities for them. Only thing I didn’t like was a dj was going hard til 11pm. Other than that, it was a wonderful weekend & we will definitely be back to stay! - also location was perfect.

We stayed here for quite a few months this year. Everything was great from the time we arrived. The long term guests we were near were welcoming and friendly. Guest services was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The summer war HOT but the pools helped to keep us cool. We would definitely stay here again if we were ever in the area again. Thank you for letting us stay with you, y’all are amazing!

Such a nice resort. It's in a great location, right off of I35 with easy access to all major grocery stores and gas stations. We went for four days in our camper. It is a little busy, but it is peak season and summer in the Texas Hill Country. Very nice facilities. The pool area was great especially if you have kids like I do. They had a nice playground and gem mining!! My oldest enjoyed the basketball courts. There is also an indoor pool and game room (bring dollars). There is also a dog park for your traveling pooches. They have activities for kids, like the rock painting and did s'mores on the patio. Lots of seating and games on the patio area and even has a stage for live music and karaoke. Our kids brought their bikes and had a blast ridding around the grounds. There is cabin and golf cart rentals as well. We had no problem with our hook ups at the site. Super close to downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn and the Guadalupe and Comal rivers. Historic Gruene is 10 minutes nearby. The Snake Farm is just down the road and Natural Bridge Caverns and Wildlife Safari are only 20 mins away.

By far this was the Nicest RV Resort I have stayed at over the years. I have stayed there twice at this point. The spaces are sized perfectly. You don't feel like you are on top of each other. The amenities are great. Clean wash rooms and plenty of washers and dryers. Indoor hot tubs and a huge pool. If you need anything the store onsite should have anything you need in a pinch.

It’s so peaceful and beautiful. We stayed for 4 nights at the Sabine cottage like cabin. Super cute little resort. The pools and hot tub are always busy. My little one loved the park and the pools. The above ground digging / mining play area is neat. She loved that! Staff is super friendly and helpful. The coffee they give… man it’s like poorly flavored water! We tried it several times. Just awful flavor. Even at 2 cups. Highly recommend you get your own coffee. We want to come back! Well worth the 5 hour drive to come out for work and also relax when you get back.

More like a mobile home park than a campground. Lots of long term campers that haven’t moved in years. Those who live here speed down the roads like this is a road through town. There’s no enforcement of the rules like the 5 mph rule. Very disappointed in the campsites as well. Our 41 ft fifth wheel almost takes up the whole site not leaving much room for our truck. The poorly maintained grass between the sites is small. Sites are crowded, I don’t even think our awning would come out. Don’t even bother coming here especially for $90 a night. The only positive was the friendly staff and abundance of amenities. I hope they will be doing a lot of renovations otherwise this is a poor excuse for a campground. Won’t be back.

Beautiful place, well kept up. Bathrooms were clean an nice although many seemed out of order. Sites are narrow but typical. Garbage was a long ways away. Pet park was next to Garbage. They had other pet areas but they were not fenced in. Pool looked very nice but we didn't get to use. We did use the hot tub right near us and it was perfect (not real hot but we loved that since it was 100 degrees out). Overall I would definitely stay again

This looks like a great place for our family reunion that we are planning for Summer 2023. The grounds are beautiful. There are many full hookups plus cabins of various sizes. The cabins are extremely nice and seem well equipped. There is a lovely pool and a big room for the family to gather with a kitchen, etc. Forgot to take photos!😖

Very nice RV park! Two pools, playgrounds, small dog parks, GREAT staff. Their indoor pool is the cleanest pool I have ever seen in 5 years of RV-ing! Not crowded and a really fun place! UPDATE: Lots of the sites are very un-level. We came here again on our way home and could not level our RV without having our wheels up in the air and that is not safe. Left a day early and of course there are no refunds.

We just bought a new camper and needed a place close enough to where we live to try it out. So happy we found this place. We loved our weekend neighbors, the kids LOVED the heated pool.. they got to swim in January! Activities for the kids, golf cart rentals, super friendly staff. Highly recommend!! We will be back for sure

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the amenities were great. My kids also enjoyed the planned activities. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again.

I just stopped in to dump my tanks. They were very welcoming and the $10 I paid was very fair. Would rather pay to dump here than for free at Camping World where their dump station was beyond disgusting. Sun Retreats was the opposite! Very clean and well kept. Would def stay here if the need arises. Tons of amenities.

We stayed at Sun Retreats for 3 days in our RV. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool mostly, everything in the game room cost money so they didn’t play many games. The neighbors were super friendly but I agree with some of the other comments it’s more of a place where people are living rather than vacationing. The only bad thing I’ll say was the showers close by us had windows in them and when you open the windows it lead to an abandoned room which was super creepy and creeped the kids out. When telling the lady at the front desk she said she had no idea about it.

The cleanest place I’ve ever camped! And we have been in multiple of them around US. Friendly staff, quiet, near by everything you need and yet a camping feeling. We stayed at cabin #622. 2 adults, 2 kids and a small dog. We had lots of space and fun. For the first time in a camping, my kids walked on their socks all day long and it was still clean! Lol… We went to visit the caverns, the Landa Park, drove around the town… 0000 complaint.

Stayed here October and November the last 2 years enjoyed the park. Staff are very helpful and all went out there way to help customers. Make sure you puts some water in your tanks both years the park experienced water breaks. The first last two days the two this year were fixed in a few hours. With that said we enjoy this park.

We came here with our grandkids to do local attractions and to enjoy the park. We were here 5 days. When we checked in they gave us our paperwork with a scan code with scan for activities on it. I scanned it and it said there was no activities at this time. The last day we were here someone at the pool told us about all the fun activities they we’re having for kids. She said the information was on the office door. We never when back to the office after we checked in so never saw it. We were so disappointed! They could have told us it was posted on the door or gave us a copy of it. The Wi-Fi is trouble so there wasn’t a lot for them to do when we were around the camp site. It is a nice park but could have better communication.

We loved this place! We stayed 3 months, the staff was amazing. Having an indoor and outdoor pool was great for when the weather was bad. The long term residents were really friendly and made us feel at home. Lots of areas for pets New Braunfels is a great town with plenty of places to eat and see live music. The resort is close to everything you could possibly need. We were sad to leave.

First night we lost water for the entire evening, next day they closed the shop because the AC was out, when I asked for an extra towel for my daughter I was told that I could only exchange towels, after arguing with the manager I finally received another towel. It was an incredible place for my daughter and Mr. T was an amazing activities coordinator, otherwise this review would be one star. I do not feel I was provided the amenities that I payed for.

This is a very nice rv resort. They also have park models for rent. Our spot was nice and level. Clean. This is a very professional place. Very helpful. Great amenities. The pool and hot tub were nice as well as a great workout area with free weights and elliptical machines. The store is great and offers basic items you may need. We ordered a pizza. It was very good. There's people constantly cleaning and making sure it's nice. I would definitely stay again or at any Sun Outdoors property if they're all like this. We stayed for 3 nights. We used the Passport America discount. Great experience! Thank you!

I'll preface this review by saying that I am a bit of a neat freak. I dread staying away from home due to a major bug phobia and the thought of what kind of nastiness is lurking on the floors and in the beds. With that said, this place was IMMACULATE. Kudos to the housekeeping crew, because I literally couldn't find anything to be uptight about; I actually relaxed and enjoyed my stay here. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was well stocked with dishes, clean towels, toiletries, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. YES, these have dishwashers! :) My two grown kids and I joked about how easy it would be to not go home and just live in the tiny house for a while. We floated the Comal and this place was just a few miles from Prince Solms Park, which was nice. I read a lot of bad reviews about the staff, but that wasn't my experience. No, they weren't jumping for joy, but who does that at work? They were pleasant and did their jobs, which is exactly what I expect. The check in and check out processes are incredibly fast and easy if you've booked your stay online. We will definitely visit again; in fact, my daughter has plans to stay at least once more with friends this summer. If you have an RV you may have a different experience, as that seems to be where most of the negative reviews come from. My cabin experience, though, was a 10/10.

While we were here to see friends in the area this time around, we've stayed in this park before and were blown away at all the amenities. So many and for such a good price that we questioned whether we should get rid of our home once our kids graduate and live in an RV full time.

We rented a cottage for the President's Day weekend. Cottage was very clean. Property was great. Heated indoor pool! and game room were awesome. Wish we could have stayed longer to participate in the activities they have. Friendly and helpful people at the desk every time i went in. We will definitely be back with our travel trailer for a longer stay!

Nice clean park but I have a few issues with the drive through sites. The drive through sites have a concrete pad with a picnic table, but these pads are raised 3-4" above the ground and make the site very narrow. The raised pad also causes issues with clearance of basement doors for a motorhome. Some of the sites have trees that can cause issues with slide outs.

I never really review rv spots, but this place was absolutely great. We went over the summer with two girls, 10, and they had such a blast. The activities they had every hour were right up their alley and they swam in between. Staff was friendly and park was clean. We've stayed at expensive resorts, like fimfo, and, honestly, for the price and how close everything is, we will definitely go back here instead of fimfo.

We really like taking our travel trailer to Sun Outdoors parks and this is no exception. They have great amenities including indoor/outdoor pool with cool night lighting, jacuzzi pool, nice/clean bath houses and game room. our site was in walking distance of the pool. Most of them seem to be very convenient to a major road or interstate. Everyone we interacted with from employees to the other guests were very pleasant. Hoping to make a trip back next time we are in TX. Thanks for the great experience.

Loved the cabin. It was tiny but so cozy! Exceptionally clean! Very comfy (except for the pillows, they were like laying on bricks). We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and clean park. Quiet but close to interstate 35. Two pools for kids and plenty areas for kids to run and play. Permanent sites are available. Washing and meeting areas are available. Will definitely use this location on our future trips.
