Tube Chute

Tourist attraction β€’ Water sport

πŸ‘ I came to this tube Chute many years ago when I was a teenager.... honestly I don't think it's changed much at all. I would like to see them make a few changes. After going through the Chute if you want to get out and do it again it can be really hard to get over to the opposite side and up stairs.... People often mention river, tube, water, Chute, person, parking,

I came to this tube Chute many years ago when I was a teenager.... honestly I don't think it's changed much at all. I would like to see them make a few changes. After going through the Chute if you want to get out and do it again it can be really hard to get over to the opposite side and up stairs. If you miss the stairs you have to go way down and walk back. The first set of stairs are rusted metal and are all beat up so be sure to watch your step there. It's fun and doesn't cost a lot per person to go through it but to get your money's worth you would have to go through it several times. Last time we went to the Chute my youngest daughter and I got stuck in the vortex between the dam and where the Chute comes out. It is really difficult to get out of that area because the water just swirls around there. They had two lifeguards that sat there and watched us struggle.... they in no way helped us at all. I guess if you're floating the river and you do the tube Chute and keep going down the river it would be a better experience.

Floating down the Tube Chute is fun. It is best to bring some water shoes and a life jacket, but a tube is optional. I usually do it a couple of times during the week (Mon-Thur) without a tube, usually starting at 7pm, when they stop charging for parking or admission. Going before 7pm means you have to be ready to endure rules and stern looks from those that work there, and you have to pay $21 to park and pay about $6 per person to be able to get out of the water and walk back to the top of the Tube Chute. They lock the gates Fri-Sun at 7pm in the Summer. The stated reason from workers that would provide an answer as to why the gates are locked just evenings a week said it was because fights have broken out after hours on a weekend.

This is the place to go - no payment for entry m-f (paid on weekends). Parking on the lot $20 (all day)- might find street parking however it’s only two hours

My girlfriend has been talking about the river for several months now and on a whim we decided to be spontaneous. I hadn’t been before so I didn’t know what to expect but it was awesome. The tube chute is super fun but be careful not to get trapped, the current can be really strong so you wanna make sure you’re aiming yourself properly. At night we saw a snake in the river so keep that in mind.

It was my favorite place for many years, now they charge you for parking and entrance, there is no doubt that here they charge you a lot for farting.

This is one of the best experiences you will ever have if you are a younger person because the shoot has some danger to it a older person will be whisked across the water and if your tube turns over it will send you under the water so please be careful but by far this is the best experience you will ever have in tubing

The float was great, but every staff member I met was rude accept one. All, accept, one. Every single person had beer cans and I was threatened with a ticket when I asked if they were allowed, all I did was ask to make sure I was following rules but yet every single person I seen on the river had them

Nice place to have a pleasant time. We visited on winter so there are no tube activities, Anyway we sat at the edge if the river and had a good afternoon. No cover on this season and parking was free. The water is so clean and the place as well. Of course we'll get back in summer, I'm prettysure it's a place with lots of fun. I didn't give 5 stars cause I wanna try on other season.

We love the tube chute and Landa Park. There needs to be more affordable parking though.

Great river, expect when you get these sassy netter maids that tell you can’t use double tubes despite them filling up our tubes at the river entrance. Oh and also there is no way for them to refund your parking. Makes absolutely no sense why double tubes aren’t allowed.

I enjoyed swimming in this natural water. I visited here on July 4 weekend and lots of crowd for tubing. I highly recommend this place for good one day outing with tubing, swimming and grilling on the lake side
