Came in for the first time last night and had drinks and well….pizza of course! Was really crowded with people having a great time. There was a wait but someone who looked like the owner happily greeted us and said he had a comfy place for us at the bar if we were interested. He was right…the bar was awesome and we were waited on right away. I asked the bartender for something fruity with rum and he whipped something up that was so good! The pizza was one of the most outstanding pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’m from Chicago area!). All of the bartenders were so friendly and attentive too. We moved to San Antonio last year and haven’t really been impressed at all with pizza here. We will make the drive for this place anytime! Someone said below something about a take out fee being absurd. We didn’t take anything out but the prices at this place were so unbelievably great I don’t see how anyone can complain about a tiny takeout fee.

Went in after a dress appt at Celebrations, there was no big crowd or wait. We were 4 seated right away, we began with appetizers and drinks. Food was all great! Definitely would like to return. Seemed family friendly.

Had a great experience here. We had multiple orders of the cheese sticks. Come to find out their mozzarella is made fresh in house. Their beer cheese and pot roast wedges were DELICIOUS! Pizza and salads were great too. Our waitress did qn amazing job with the amount of tables and bar she was running. The kids enjoyed their time playing pool and video games while waiting for their food. Will be back!

My family enjoyed this establishment very much! Not too far off the beaten path, thus restaraunt delivered fresh food that tasted far from the big box brands. The potatoes wedges with all 3 toppings were delicious. The duck legs were also a hit, even with our picky 7 year old. The mozzarella sticks were a bit thick for my liking but were tolerated well by everyone. We got the meat pizza, and it was fantastic! All of the meats were well paired with the light sauce and perfect amount of cheese. All in all, this eatery will be on my list of places to return next time we visit. 9/10 easy!

What can I say?! A MUST Try! Honestly, Great, Friendly Service; Awesome Variety on the Appetizers and Pizzas; they carry Big Red; have pool tables and various TV’s for sports; and pizza is thin/ crispy; and made Fast! Also very accommodating—my Grandson fell Asleep and they Accommodated a booth at the last minute for him to sleep! Honestly, a Great Place especially for a Large Group! Great Job Bootleggers! 👍🏽

GO THERE TODAY!! We’ve lived in NB for over a decade and have a new commitment to trying out more local businesses. Went to Bootleggers yesterday for date night and the place is delish!! We got mozzarella sticks 5 STARS - chicken bacon ranch pizza w garlic sauce on crust 5 STARS. We also had some drinks from the bar and they were GREAT - 5 STARS (not just juice w a pinch of alcohol like so many other places). Service was phenomenal and atmosphere was quiet since it was a weeknight but pool tables and games seemed to be in good condition. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND !!

We were in from out of town. The food was awesome! The service FANTASTIC! Ashley our server seems like the only one there and the place was PACKED. My drink never hit the bottom. The food was sooooo good. My kid loved the Balsamic Chicken Pizza. The salads were amazing (loved the mozzarella).

In town from Austin & had an AMAZING foodie experience!!! We had the house salad (probably the most beautifully plated salad I've ever seen), potato wedges, & lasagna pizza. The pizza was 🤤🤤🤤 esp with their house made mozzarella & AMAZING CRUST! 👌 Def will be back for more!

Was recommended by a friend to try the place. Small arcade area with two pool tables. Also nice and small dining.

It’s disappointing to give an overall 2 star rating to an eating establishment when the food was excellent. However, the service, integrity, and leadership were so bad that it overshadowed the evening. First, the good—we had pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza, a margarita pizza, and mozzarella cheese sticks. It was all very good. Second, the bad—our server spilled an entire tray of drinks on someone in our dinner party. She was very flustered, and embarrassed. It caused quite a scene in the restaurant, and she made an admirable effort to clean up the situation. Finally, the ugly—although it created a significant scene and a patron was completely soaked by the spilled tray of drinks, no one from management came out to acknowledge what had happened or to make sure everyone was okay. I generally do not expect to have my dinner comped, but under the circumstances I was felt the young lady that was showered in drinks deserved it. When the checks came… full price. They finally discounted the check after we pressed the issue. Accidents happen, and this was totally recoverable had Bootlegger leadership been proactive about the situation and done the right thing from the start.

Pizza was delicious! The restaurant was a bit loud. And there were so many people. I guess it’s true. If there’s no one there is probably not that good. The PIZZA was off the hook!

My husband and I went there for dinner. We ordered drinks which came out quick and they very good. We shared a meat pizza that was delicious. We had after dinner drinks for dessert that left us full and feeling fabulous. The service was great. We will most definitely be going back soon.

We were craving pizza, so Bootleggers it is. This place is always busy and most of the time you will have a wait. We go early to bypass the wait and mass of people. We ordered breadsticks with garlic and asked for garlic butter for our dipping sauce. It wasn't warm like I'm used to, but it was amazing. I could have eaten all the breadsticks lathered in that butter. We ordered the Supreme without the green peppers and extra garlic. It was amazing as always. Great place for a variety of food and drinks. Outdoor seating, pooltables, and darts. Great place to meet up with some friends.

Food and cocktail was great! Atmosphere is fun but relaxed, you would have to go in and see for yourself as it’s hard to explain. It would be a 5 star but we were done with our drinks for a good 20min before someone came back around to check on us. They had customers but not packed or any wait times.

We like this place very very much they have amazing garlic cheese bread you have to try it my family devours it quickly it seems kind of expensive for bread compared to other pizza places but it's worth it and you get what you pay for. The pizza is great, they have great wings and pasta as well they also make great potato wedges. I believe only food items I have not tried is sandwiches and dessert, however judging by everything else I'm guessing they are good. I wish they offered a few more choices with like Alfredo or ranch on pizza because red sauce hurts my stomach. The only other complaint I really have is the pizza sometimes gets a little too done and get black dust all over your hands but I believe it's because they use a brick oven, other than that nothing bad to say we have been back many times and will continue to go back.

If I was just grading the owner and the food, it would be a six star review. The pizza was amazing the fresh ingredients the homemade mozzarella it was probably the best pizza I’ve had in Texas. We ordered appetizers that were delicious and plentiful. The only reason I don’t give this a five stars because of the server. She was not friendly, when I was trying to talk to her while we were ordering, she couldn’t hear me, she had to come around the table to talk to me and she let out the biggest sigh that you could she was agitated that she had to come around my side of the table, I happen to be disabled I don’t have a loud voice. Place wasn’t busy so my family play some pool and we sat for a she never came back to see if we’d like another drink. My daughter had a flag someone down to get a drink. Overall, this place is amazing. The atmosphere is great. It’s relaxed and comfortable family, friendly, great selection of drinks. The food was delicious. The owner at the end of our meal came over to our table to help my daughter get a drink, he was very helpful when we first got there and helpful when we left. Definitely a great honor. We would definitely be back.

We enjoyed the Arancini as a starter. They were well made and had a pizza. They sell Pizza by the slice and you can split pizzas with different toppings on each half. The service was friendly and prompt.

I took my niece, nephews and my sister in law here just to try something different. Wow. It was really good. We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was amazing. So much better than what we’ve tried before that we drove from Seguin where we live to get take out the next week. Pretty fast service also. Highly recommended by the kids and adults both. Well worth the drive.

Best margherita pizza in Texas! Haven’t had a comparable one since being in NYC. Waitstaff was so kind an knowledgeable. Get the Dorothy Parker if you’re a fan of gin. Will be back time and time again! *EDIT* - I came back for a birthday lunch, the pizza and cocktails were consistently fantastic. The German style fries, also amazing. I remembered to take pictures this time!
