Go with time. This store is huge. Each department is large. If you don't find something, then you weren't looking hard enough. The prices are more than fair, the selection is huge, they have everything from antiques in the case to t-shirts in a bin for .50. How about a drum set? Where else are you going to find such a wide range?

The shop was very cute. Reminds me more of a boutique more than a thift shop. They do have a boutique section bit its behind the counter. The had mostlt cothing but theres stuff in the back. Worth stopping by.

CIS Thrift Store is the best! I love this store, they have such a great selection of items. I always go there first to find what I need. They usually have it! I just love their clothes selections too, and best of all it goes to help the kids.

Very clean and organized store! Also great bargains!!! I'm just glad they were open this time when I went to New Braunfels, did not disappoint

I’ve been a CIS super fan since they were at the San Antonio Street location! 🤩 There is always plenty to see and everything is very well-organized. Pricing is fair, and the sales are amazing. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plan a nice, long visit! ❤️

I’ve really loved shopping at CIS the past few years! They almost always have discounts off their already cheap prices. And every so often they have a 50% off everything in the store sale! They also have discount on Saturdays for school employees. The store is clean and organized and a joy to shop!

I love this store so much that I drive in from Boerne to shop at it! I’ve been a customer since it was at the tiny location next to a pizza place across from the McKenna museum! 💕 found the cutest Toms shoes yesterday when we stopped by to shop during our spring break! $1! Can’t beat that!

First time visiting this Thrift shop! We loved it, definitely has little of everything to browse through. Organized and easy to look around, spacious! Bathrooms available & kept clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We purchased books, some infant clothes and other items.

Nice little find, big store with lots of options however, men's section is lacking (quite common of thrift stores). Wife found lots to try on though and prices were very reasonable for a thrift store.

I love this thrift store because they have really amazing sales as well as a nicely-curated series of seasonal and rotating displays. I also appreciate the routine 4/$1 books for kids and adults! Can’t beat the price anywhere

CHANGE your donation acceptance time to reflect when you actually have a staff member on premises to accept donations😤😤. We brought a like new electric stationary bike along with numerous very nice framed pictures at 9:10am and was told to just leave them by the door because their donation person doesn’t come in until 9:30. I explained that it was starting to rain and all the nice painting would get wet - she said unfortunately our person doesn’t come in until around 9:30.. I was really upset that they cared so little for what people were donating to them - not asking for any money, just wanting to help their store. I gave them nice stuff and 🤷🏼🤷🏼. Not cool, just change your acceptance time to reflect when you actually have someone there to receive it - not rocket science…….

CIS offers a wide variety of items. Unfortunately they seem to have forgotten that they are a thrift store and are pricing above retail on a lot of items. It is possible to find a bargain though because they have weekly sales with good discounts.

Being in town for a couple of hours my shopping time was limited. Checked the resale I normally shop for an iron, while the posted hours were to be open, the cold had the doors locked. After calling to check before going here, the clerk found the desired iron and set it back for me. Naturally, I found other lovely items when I retrieve the iron. My items were very fair priced and the service appreciated.

$ Nice little store. The prices are great especially on their sale days. Pretty organized & clean. Wish the kids section had more to pick from but other than that I always still find something to get here. Oh, Plus they have a punch card!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Staff was very nice. The store is small but there is a variety of items and the prices are low.

There was a time when I would have come and gladly spent $2-300. I went by today and was quite surprised by the high prices. I even heard a few other people comment on the prices. If you are advertising yourself as a "thrift" store, you should have thrift prices. Many items were priced OVER retail prices when new. The only bargains I saw were on clothes. As a charity, they should be lowering prices to generate more sales. $200 could have previously bought me a cart full of items, now maybe a handful, so I walked out empty-handed. The store is PACKED with items. It won't hurt them to lower prices.

I have been going to CIS for the past 6 years. I have always been able to find something at a reasonable price. I enjoyed going there all the time but that has not been the case these past two years. It has actually gotten worse this year alone. Prices on their items have gone up way to much to the point that I can purchase the same item online for the same price. It looks more like a boutique store rather than a thrift store because of their prices. Even with the 50% off day the prices are still high. This is no longer a thrift store to me. Having the sign that says thrift by the street is misleading now. Its upsetting because i did enjoy it at one point.

This place has gone 👎..not to mention the music..its so loud,as though ur in a club. 👎👎if this app wouldn't make you choose stars, I wouldn't of chose 1, at all. Sorry..

Very nice store, employees are awesome every time I go, tons of selection and there’s something there for everyone. Only complaint is that their prices are getting unreasonable. They wanted $60 for an airfryer, $25 for a framed print, $8 for a simple canvas tote bag, etc. Some of their stuff is kind of reasonable, but I’d highly recommend only going when there’s a sale, otherwise it might not be worth it.

Middle of the road for me. Prices were very good, plenty of stock both inside and out. Some really cool items. Nothing I'd drive to New Braunfels for but if I'm out that way I will stop in. Happy hunting!

Awesome store! It is really big with all sorts of variety, they have antiques to house wares to clothing. I love going to thrift stores for new clothes. I got a whole basket for a very reasonable price and that wasn't even on a discount day. Easy my new favorite store to visit on a weekly basis. 😊 Every day of the week has a different discount and they have special sales with even more discounts, plus a punch card.
