I ordered the “Mini-Build Your Own Poke Bowl” which comes with 1 protein. With this option you choose 1 base, 1 protein, sides, 3 crunch toppings and 2 sauces. I selected short grain white rice as my Base and Salmon Poke as my Protein. For Sides I chose; sweet corn, edamame, pickled ginger and scallions. For Crunch Toppings I added, sesame seeds, fried garlic and crispy onions. To top it off, I added a spicy Ponzu and Eel sauce. You are able to add extra items to your bowl for additional charges. The food was fresh and delicious and the portion was so big I was able to make 2 meals out of it. I will definitely be back!

LOVE this place! Best poke in the area. Always fresh, and generous servings. So many topping options to build your own bowl. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!

My new favorite go to place to eat lunch in New Brunswick. Best Poke Bowls in town. The ingredients are fresh (spicey tuna and salmon were delicious) and the toppings are unlimited. A bowl is about $11 and the servings are huge, definitely enough to share.

I absolutely LOVE poke nagomi. Fresh ingredients served by a small local business. You just can't beat it! Their poke bowls are only $10 and extremely generous portions! I cannot express how much I love this place as well as their sister restaurant Ramen Nagomi! Their tuna appetizer is the best if you have a raw fish craving but only want a snack! Masago on top is really good! Unlimited toppings. Do I need to say more?! Just go! Go now!

Huge portions!! Holy moly, these bowls are big enough to feed 2 people, EASILY. Thr toppings are fresh, rice is cooked just right, the presentation is very nice, and the price is fair! I am a fan of Yuzu Kitchen but this bowl is almost equivalent to 2 of theirs. And this place isn't as sparse with their topping as the other place. So glad I decided to give Poke Naomi a try!

I've been going here for a while. Best Poke in New Brunswick! I was in San Francisco last summer and I had poke over there. It didn't compare to Poke Nagomi right here in New Brunswick.

Great place for sushi and poke. The fish is fresh and cut for each poke bowl, sushi roll, and sushi burrito. The workers are really nice and its really close to rutgers. Theres not a whole lot of seating but most people get take out anyways so there will most likely be a seat if you wanna eat in. They have self ordering too. The fish is fresh and clean. It might be a little wait for you food but thats honestly fine because it just shows the food is fresh.

This place serves poke bowls. The staff here is super friendly, and the food is amazing! I love the freshness of the salmon and the edamame tastes so good as well. This place is way better than Okie Pokie in Highland Park, NJ

Love it! You'll definitely get a bang for your buck at this place. I ordered a mini BYOB poke bowl and could not have been happier. I chose salmon as my protein and was very impressed with the variety of sides/crunch available (seaweed salad, sweet corn, edamame, pineapple, pickled ginger, sakura pickled radish, cucumbers, onions, scallions, furikake, crispy onions, and tempura flakes). Service was super quick and staff was friendly. I definitely recommend and will be back soon!

A small restaurant on George Street in the heart of downtown New Brunswick just around the corner from the state theater. It shares the same space as Cambo Box. You are encouraged to order online or at the kiosk located inside the restaurant. Upon walking in, you'll notice that there isn't a lot of seating available. Walking past the seating area will be Cambo Box and then Poke Nagomi. We ordered take out and our order was ready by the time we got there. It was placed on a shelf to the right of the wall so we were able to just grab and go. By the time we got home, the chicken karage was soggy which was unfortunate. It was placed in a plastic container, so all the condensation softened it pretty quickly. Overall, the chicken was slightly overdone and a bit too salty. The poke bowl, on the other hand, was very good and jam packed with sides. I ordered the signature bowl with spicy salmon and spicy tuna with spicy mayo as my sauce. Highly recommend their poke bowls. Something to keep in mind though, parking is all metered and not cheap. But if you plan on spending time walking around, then it's not so bad.

Always fresh and tasty. As close to a true Hawaiian poke bowl as one can get in New Jersey. Good choice of toppings and sauces, though I wish the pre-pandemic options were still available.

Everything exceeded my expectations! The food portions are very generous, the bowls are packed full of really fresh, flavorful ingredients. Staff is so friendly and my order was ready very quickly. Came all the way from Pennsylvania and will absolutely be coming back again!

Very mediocre poke. Tuna was not fresh (I did come at the end of the day). Very low amount of rice which by the end it was almost impossible to eat because it was only seaweed cucumber corn and Tuna left. The sauce was served in cups and not spread over the bowl so when you go and spread sauce yourself you are practically only getting a small portion of the bowl in sauce. Could be a marketing ploy to cut down the amount of sauce they use, making you pay extra for sauce. Not sure how this place has all these positive reviews.

I walked by the restaurant many times but this is the first time I ordered from it. I ordered online for fast pickup. For the BYOB I selected spicy ahi tuna and salmon. For the base I selected half rice and half salad which was a good interesting and great addition to either rice or salad. Not sauces, spicy mayo and wasabi mayo, were wonderful. But I could have eaten the bowl without either as the taste of the seaweed salad, tamago, and the proteins were great. The spicy ahi tuna was saltier than I’d have liked. The portion was generous.

This is easily the best poke in the tri state area. I'm obsessed with poke and this is the best that I've had outside of Hawaii (and if I'm being honest, it's better than a lot of the poke I've had in Hawaii too!) I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Best Poke I ever had!! I like to try different places and food varieties as well. And this Poke is just the best, always fresh, always tasty, and it's consistent every time.

The only poke place where I have been able to get both quantity and quality for the money spent on the bowl. I really enjoy how the spicy tuna is chunks rather than a mushy texture. Keep it up!
