15 East is one of the most popular fine dining restaurants on RED and we finally gave it a visit on our anniversary. The decor is brilliant and beautiful with intimate ambiance. Their portion was great, so 3-course was enough for us to enjoy our night. One of our favorites was the Cheese Bread from Amuse, the texture was soft and chewy with flavorful taste. Sea Urchin and Angel Hair Carbonara from our 1st course was extremely rich and creamy but not greasy at all. Their Duck Breast was one of my favorites recently and it was cooked properly, soft & tender. Our dessert was amazingly beautiful with delicate taste. This is their Costa Rican Cold Poached Pineapple.

The interior is great, food was ok, the service ruined it all… The restaurant is ambitious and wants to be in the high-end category but the service is inconsistent and is far off: They give hand towel to our neighbor table but not give it to us. The server’s hair is all over the place. They served one dish before the previous one was finished… then they just run back immediately pretending like nothing happened. They serve dishes randomly without remember/asking which is which.. Also see they serve the wrong dish to our neighbor table.. We were prepared to give 15% tip but they charge 20% mandatory.. I mean a lot of good restaurants do that but their service was above and beyond.. the service here is definitely not deserves 20%.

My favorite restaurant in New York City. It is hidden, and not advertised as much as a typical Michelin restaurant. (It is not a Michelin but it reminds me of one). For this reason, you won’t find many tourists here. I would say this restaurant is for foodies. The service and quality are similar to that of a Michelin restaurant, but the prices are better and portions are slightly bigger. I always feel full and satisfied after dining here. Been coming here for 8+ years and it’s consistently wonderful. The presentation of food here is great as well. Highly recommended!

Easily the best fine dining experience in the neighborhood! The quality of the produce and wines, the impeccably prepared dishes, and attention to details really puts this place on the highest level, without feeling too snobbish. Can't wait for the Omakase room to open :)

Food was ok, no surprise. But the birthday plate was very cute and I appreciate it. The service is very good and thoughtful too, although between each course the wait time is too long. Their sushi cook went to Japan so unfortunately we couldn’t try the sushi.

What a beautiful and elegant restaurant. The bar area is inviting and the dining room is lovely and quiet. The service is excellent and the food is a culinary lovers delight. I tasted a little bit of everything. The caviar with eggs was great, loved the Wild Bluefin Tuna sashimi flight followed by oysters. Shared the sea bass, lobster duo and steak and of course dessert. Cocktails are enjoyable and the wine selection is great. I will definitely be back again.

What happened to this restaurant? The atmosphere is dark, the food has the smallest of portions, but most of all the service is more than horrendous. Do not expect steak knives with your meat, water in your water glass, or a friendly attitude. Do expect very bad service, wilted lettuce, stale bread and tough seafood. Yes, tough fish! What happened to this restaurant? It used to be very, very good. This restaurant will be closed in 2023!

Marco Moreira is the head chef and owner of 15 East @ Tocqueville with inventive contemporary cuisine utilizing French-American and Japanese styles. He combined two Michelin-recognized restaurants into one beautiful place. Tocqueville, with decades of history, and 15 East, a Japanese restaurant housed together with a bold interior design that resembles Parisian townhouses. What an amazing place to bring your significant other for a romantic dinner. In ancient China, only the emperor gets to enjoy forbidden black rice hence the name forbidden. Tonight, we have the opportunity to eat like a king! Everything is so delicate and delicious that words simply cannot describe properly. They even iron every tablecloth so ensure perfection.

Great food and ambiance. A bit expensive, but worth it . It is not a 5 star because of the service was a quite slow and not very efficient (it was not bad but for a restaurant like this I would expect a better service)

Delicious food with great wine pairing in a calm and comfortable atmosphere and professional staff. Keep coming back to this place over several years already and they always meet all expectations. There's also a private area on the second floor, overlooking the main dining hall, that's great for hosting private parties.

Considering $28 as an appetizer, I was hoping that sear foie gras would be a big portion. It was still delicious but was disappointed about portion. Fried chicken turned out to be the impressed one. Very special source with spicy. Wagyu beef was tender and juicy. Overall, it was modern and enjoyable dinning place. However, I probably would not go back again as price range of Wagyu and foie gras, I can find similar place in NYC but portion wise more satisfied.

Beautiful outdoor space with space heaters above the table where you don’t even need your coat. The tables are spaced out well. The pink lanterns make the atmosphere magical- and the food is really great.

This is place is a statement for class, romance and elegance. Did the coursed menu. Loved absolutely every single dish. Presentation and taste profile were on point. I added to my reservation that it was a romantic date and they went above and beyond to make our table full of candles and flowers. The Captain Miguel Vega tuck care of our visit. I manage at a 5 start Diamond award restaurant in Miami located in the heart of Brickell and this place deserves this award. To end the night with the perfect touch Miguel gifted us the flower arrangement from our table. 100/100 recommend it.

Went there on Christmas. The serving size is a little bit small, which is like most French restaurants. The food was so good and the atmosphere is perfect for dating and private celebration

This was the most quietest dining experience I've ever had in my life. You could probably hear a pin drop if it did. It was somewhat uncomfortable as we were very cautious of the volume while speaking. My group and I did the 7 course, and I would say it wasn't exactly satisfying. It was extremely heavy and I didn't feel too great after the meal. The mocktails were wonderful though!

A fabulous dinner outing we did the prix fix and had a most delicious dining experience. The food was precise. The wine list was reasonable and varied. Dinner was a special. The decor is dramatic and beautiful. The restaurant was filled with foodies.

This place is amazing. Highly recommend the lunch special. It's 5 different courses with a great mix of flavours. All the plates were awesome. Great service, great ambience and food, what more can you want! :)

I dined at 15 EAST this past weekend and had an extraordinary experience. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and the fresh picked flowers lifted the space. We decided to do the 5 course tasting menu with drink pairings for each meal. Each course was just about the most incredible food I have ever eaten, presented beautifully. The sommelier, Bruno, was the highlight of the experience. His demeanor was inviting, and he was incredibly knowledgeable. The drink pairings elevated the meals and experience. Special shout-out to the duck and mushroom risotto - two of the best tasting dishes I have ever had. The dessert left us speechless - specifically the chocolate soufflé, which was possibly the best thing I have ever tasted. All in all, the experience was second to none at 15 EAST. Highly recommend trying it!

Used to be called just Tocqueville. A very comfortable dining place, even when you’re just having a drink at the bar. A great choice for a nice, relaxing evening with fine food and wine.

Intimate and glamorous dining room, and a unique layout overall which contributes to the feeling of a luxurious experience. Service was good but not as high touch as would be expected for this type of menu and environment. Sushi was lacking - not bad, but not as good as the price point would demand. Remainder of the tasting menu was strong - the parmesan grits were a standout, the uni carbonara was very good, and the duck was on par with the best duck I've had (but the pears & turnips were a weird pairing). The drink menu was the weakest link - it is clear that the focus here is on the wine list - if you're looking for cocktails or wines by the glass, you'll be disappointed.

10/10. Would definitely come again. I highly recommend the oysters, cod, scallops, tuna flight, lobster uni risotto.

Great sushi experience with a chef preparing food right in front of you at the bar. Would recommend for sushi lovers to try at least once!

I went to Tocqueville for dinner on September 9th. I have to say it was the most terrible dinner experience I ever had. We arrived at 6pm and spent almost 4.5 hours for 7 courses chef tasteing menu. The EACH waiting time between last 4 courses is more than half hour! That was too ridiculous! We spent less than 1 hour to eat, more than 3.5 hours for waiting. I ask the server what happened, and they said nothing. There is no explanation and apologies! I emailed the restaurant about my experience but no one reply! Foods are just ok. No signal at dinner room. I will never come back again and won’t recommend to anyone!

Every single staff member here was friendly and professional. So we were able to enjoy a delicious dinner. The atmosphere was quiet and elegant, the food was delicious, and the wine pairing by Sommelier Bruno exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this place to all wine & food lovers. Great place for a girls night out too.

The food was good, great atmosphere, staff was friendly and attentive but SERVICE IS SLOW!!! It took 3 hours for 3 course meal . Waited maybe 1 hour to just get a menu. Will probably not come back but it’s a cute experience if you can spare the time.
