Not one to leave a review, but I was very disappointed after my visit. Unfortunately, I bought the unlimited package for $80, and they only supplied us with plates, cups, and bottles. The worst part is that the walls are made out of some type of soft wood where nothing would break when you threw it at the wall. All of the plates and bottles would just bounce off the wall and break on the floor. I’ve been to different rage rooms where they supply you with protective light-weight suits so you don’t cut yourself, but this place only gave you gloves and face shields, which didn’t seem cleaned in a very long time (the face shields). They also didn’t have us sign any type of waiver, which is a huge risk for them. Hoping the business can see this and make changes in their business model in order to give their customers a better experience.

My fiancé left a kind, genuine professional review after our experience here. The owner responded with a disrespectful and insulting email at 12 AM on a Sunday night. Very unprofessional. Very disrespectful and extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend going to this establishment. Some highlights within the email read - “We’re sending this to you privately to avoid publicly embarrassing you … We don’t need nor want a response from you. We just wanted to point out the dumb mistakes in your review.” - Break Stuff NJ Management

It served the purpose of a rage room but the place is a mess. I am also really disappointed in that I booked the unlimited package and was only given 3 crates of mostly beer bottles (some of which looked completely freshly popped) and a windshield. There were no electronics and when we said we were done with 10 minutes left, we weren't given anything else to break. It was awkward to ask as the male seemed annoyed to be there. The female who was there was excellent though. We were originally a group of 3 that turned into 2 and we got stuck in traffic- they were very accommodating to the traffic part, but no refund was offered for the 3rd person (which it is what it is), but there wouldn't have been enough stuff to smash.

My boyfriend and I visited on a Sunday around 7pm for a date night. We purchased our package online which we picked the unlimited package which includes unlimited breakables for $40. Each session is 20 minutes which they have a timer in the room so you can keep track of your session. We also had to print and sign a waver. We decided to add on a TV to our session once we got there. The lady showed us around the room and provided us with instructions and then we put on our gear and was ready to break some stuff! They provide you with glasses, a face shield and gloves. If you have a purse or any loose articles they also have a closet inside of the room to leave your things. All of the breakables were in crates and you can choose weapons such as bats, crow bars, sledgehammers and more! Let me tell you, 20 minutes does go by quick and it is a mini workout! I was sweating in there but it's so much fun. You get to take our your frustration on cups, liquor bottles, wine bottles, plates, tv's and more. When we were done, we paid for the tv add on and was sent the video of us during the session since they do have a camera in the room. I definitely recommend this spot whether it's for a fun night out or to release some stress!

I am only giving a second star because my daughter enjoyed herself. However --- the teen staff didn't care about their jobs AT ALL at this place. They were busy looking at their phones. No monitoring the video for safety. We'd purchased the Unlimited Breakables package, but I had to remind the staff every time the kids ran out of items to replenish them. Because their session is timed, this was unfair. They also had NO medium or large items, despite what the website said. I had to badger the staff several times before they brought a larger item into the room. I would not return. And if I was the owner, I'd seriously reconsider my staff.

It was a good time, but the staff was interesting… The man who set us up was friendly, but the other workers.. not so much. They were unprofessional and unavailable. I even had to open a door at one point to find someone when our timer went off. There was no one around. On our way out, they were all just sitting on a couch, on their phones, completely ignoring us. I tried saying bye more than twice, but even that was ignored. Oh well. As for the space itself, it was tight. There were 3 of us in the room and we had to be careful not to hit each other, so we broke things one at a time. A bigger room definitely would have been better.

It was a underwhelming experience. Me and my friend paid for the unlimited package but were only given some glass bottles/glasses and a screen. There were no large breakable items and we were only given one round of breakables and no instructions on how to receive more. And when we went out of the room to ask, there was no one around we could find. Definitely wasn’t given the package experience that was advertised or worth the extra pay.

Did not exceed my expectations, but it was enjoyable. I wouldn’t pay for the unlimited package again, rather buy my own stuff at a thrift store and break that. I paid for a recoding of my session and never received it. I called and emailed multiple times.

Had a great time. Released some stress. I will say it's a great workout if you go non stop. It gets hot and you work up a good sweat. Plugged in my music and it was all a go. Staff are very friendly. I should have scheduled/paid for more time. 20 minutes went by quick. I would definitely do it again.

Great stress reliever and friendly staff! Some people feel like 20 minutes isn’t enough but at the end of our time we were exhausted & ready to come out of the room! It gets very hot with the goggles, a mask, and a face shield. Definitely recommend going!

I recommend this place. Definitely make sure to bring your own breakables. They supplied a few crates of stuff and I brought 2 boxes with me and still ran out of things to smash around the 18 min mark. (I had a lot of stress to get out). Bring your ipod or phone to connect to Bluetooth to keep you hyped up. The price point was great. Get the coveralls for $5 (worth it). I had a great time.

If you're thinking about doing a rage room, this is definitely the place to be. The staff was very friendly, and gave me a couple extra minutes to get the safety gear on. They also gave me a couple extra minutes at the end, since I was the last party of the night. This is probably one of the last businesses that isn't looking for every reason to charge you more money. I had a great time destroying everything I could. 10/10!

It was Ok. The young women who checked us in were helpful and friendly. But the room they put us in was wayyyy too small to safely accommodate 3 adults swinging bats, golf clubs, and sledge hammers. We had to put our own safety protocols in place to ensure that no one got hurt. There was no variety in the items they gave us to break. I purchased the unlimited items package and the description says you'll receive x number of xlarge, large, medium, and small items. But all we were given to break were different sized wine/liquor/ beer bottles. That got old quick. Also not being able to hit down but having to swing out to break the items was a bit of a let down.

Want to blow off some steam legally, safely, and without having to clean up? Break Stuff is the place to go. They provide safety gear including safety glasses, a face shield and gloves. I recommend wearing long pants and long sleeves cause stuff flies everywhere, it gets hot while you're smashing things but the protection is worthwhile. The stuff to break depends on what package you purchase and you can also bring your own breakables, all of which is explained on their website. They have various tools to break stuff with; the bat, golf club and sledgehammer are my favorites. You can always ring a bell and order more stuff to break if your rage hasn't been successfully subdued and you still have time. It's 20 minute sessions with 3 minutes given to gear up and get your phone connected to the Bluetooth speaker they provide, so make sure you have your 'smashing' playlist ready. That way you can get started quickly because time flies even faster than the glass shards. 10/10 do recommend Break Stuff NJ and stretching beforehand cause breaking stuff is intense.

The experience of breaking stuff was great it was exhilarating to break the glass bottles, yet I think they could be some improvements, the outside and sign area and entrance are sketchy, not very welcoming, the inside front area is a disaster glass everywhere, I think a heads up on wearing durable boots or thick soles would help as well as thick clothing, and a mask to prevent breathing in glass particles. Your gloves should not be reused to prevent from having someone else from getting glass in their hands. The two guys that greet you have no energy, one guy was on a couch slumped, and the other had no enthusiasm we had to hype ourselves up, bc we went for my friend’s birthday and the only thing that saved the day was you guys providing a speaker, and the glass bottles. There was too many small items that weren’t breakable, you should have plates and glasses and ceramic statues computer parts and thick plastic items aren’t the best choices. As well as the large item, a windshield isn’t effective bc it doesn’t shatter it stays stuck together I would rather have had a wooden dresser or an old tube tv. Definitely love the concept but your place needs some tweaking.

No flashy signs or care for appearance. What you see is what you get. Great set up, and the staff was super friendly. Would recommend as a fun and different thing to do!

I think I need to come here every Friday! Staff was awesome, had everything ready for us when we arrived. We were supplied with a perfect amount of stuff to break in the time we booked. Great experience overall

We had an awesome time de-stressing! Looking forward to another round sometime! My only suggestion, more items during the unlimited session, and add vents for air. It got rather warm in the room. But all in all, worth it!
