We had heard a lot about this restaurant at Lodhi road. Reached there a little early for lunch. The service of the property is excellent. The menu little different from normal. The food is tasty and choice of drinks are excellent.

This place is amazing with a nice ambience and a talented bar tender who knows his drinks well. The only weak point spotted is that they sort of lagged in cooking the snacks well. I've been to this place twice now and both times the snacks ordered by us were sort of okayish in taste. The main course is soo good, in fact I'm looking forward to trying the non veg dishes soon. The service is super fast, they place some awesome retro songs and the staff is cooperative as well. 4 stars from my side.

Jamun is a small but lovely place in lodhi colony. Loved it’s vibes. It was my first visit, just felt a bit congested. Beautiful floral themed pink and purple place. Enjoyed their papad serving. We ordered aloo dum banarasi, dal makhni, chur chur paratha, naan and pineapple mocktail. Everything was awesome especially dal makhni. Food is great, service is fine.

Recently visited Jamun for a family dinner and I have to say, the food was exceptional as always. We ordered the following for starters: Patte ki chaat 5/5 Tandoori jhinga 5/5 Mahi Ajwain fish tikka 5/5 For main course, we ordered: Laal Maas 4/5 Raw mango prawn curry 4/5 Pudina lachha parantha 5/5 For drinks we had their signature Jamun cocktail, again 5/5 The service was flawless but the space was rather tiny. I first visited their Goa branch and I loved what they had done with the space and the experience that I had there. However, at Lodhi Road, it's compact yet nice.

Excellent in terms of the ambience and food ! There were several things we tried out on the menu. What stood out for me was the Pork chilly fry with Goan Chorizo which was super succulent and flavourful. We also ordered their house special kebab and the Chakundar and Amaranth Galouti for starters which is more like beet root kebabs and what I found common between both the vegetarian and non-veg dishes is that the kebabs were incredibly soft, juicy with the spices cooked in perfectly. The highlight was definitely what we ordered for dinner- appam with Haleem, Pork Vindaloo and Raw mango prawn curry! I have only one word for the raw mango prawn curry- it is to die for!!! Don’t miss this out on the menu.I personally didn’t find the pork vindaloo to be distinctive and wouldn’t recommend it. It was a sharp contrast to the pork chilly we ordered. The Haleem was excellent too. Grinded to perfection, not too spicy, easy on the palette and a great balancer. Prices in Jamun are a tad bit on the higher side but it is totally worth it. We ordered a lot more than we came in for because as we kept trying their food, we knew we wanted more of it.

It just happened while trying to find a decent place to have food around Meherchand market, Delhi and surprisingly we found this gem of a place! The flowery interiors with dim lighting has already set the mood there. But then the big brass utensils and the complimentary assorted papads made it more inviting. We ordered a malabar parantha, tasted similar to fried idlis but in a parantha style was devouring. Followed by beetroor kebabs , wow! Melted with each bite taken, so appetising! And the palak patta chaat not to forget was again delicious, the way i liked very crisp and full of flavours! To drink we requested, - Aam Panna - Jamun special Cocktails Everything seemed to be on place and nice, so if you’re planning to visit then you should .

Jamun has a beautiful vibe. Delicious food! Nostalgic decor. A place to sit back, relax and enjoy the mouthwatering food with some unique cocktail option. Much recommended. Must try if you like quite places.

I am giving it full marks because of it`s staff and interiors . The food of course is exceptionally different and good but still if there is any sort of complaint or suggestion then the staff gives total attention and deals with the situation quite wonderfully . Specially their chef , he will go even out of his usual routine work to satisfy the customer . I simply loved it.

We happened to visit the very famous Jamun finally. We had visited the one in Goa many times so our expectations were extremely high and we are happy to let you all know that it lives up to the expectation. We started our dinner with a lavish papad platter with interesting condiments in which the raw mango chutney and kasundi stood out the most. Next, we had our favourite coastal dish - Mutton Ghee Roast. Fabulous to taste, tender mutton pieces with the right amount of spice. We chose to savour the dish's flavour on its own without pairing it with any bread. We then called for the Jamun Chicken 17. The chicken pieces were crunchy, the seasoning was perfectly balanced and of course, it was extremely flavourful. We took a break from all that food and sipped on a refreshing gin cocktail infused with cucumber and mint. We asked our server with a pleasant smile, Chanchal Kumar to get our main course. A hearty Daab Malai Prawn Curry that we devoured with Malabari Parotta and Appams. A few extra points for its presentation as it looked as good as it tasted. The place was packed on Monday evening and we thankfully didn’t have to wait. Both the manager Ravi and our server were warm and hospitable. They took care of us and made an effort of explaining the roots and ingredients of each dish that was served to us. We were elated with our experience at Jamun, and we highly recommend each one of you to visit it!

This restaurant is among my recent favourites in town although I do wish it was priced slightly more reasonably, which would have allowed it to be a more regular haunt. I'd first skip to the end and suggest that their desserts are a must-try, especially the Mango Rabri (available only during the summers). We have also tried their normal Rabri with Faluda, the Passteis De Nata with Cinnamon Ice Cream, as well as their Jamun Kulfi, all of which are excellent as well. Coming to their Mains, I am a fan of their Daab Malai Curry. The Laal Maas and the Andhra Chicken Roast also make for a good meal. For the vegetarians, we've loved their Dahi Kebab in the appetisers. The manager as well as the entire staff here delivers excellent service. What adds to the experience is the level of the personal involvement of the manager himself, who always greets and serves all visitors with a genuine smile. Love to keep going back to this place.

This restaurant is located in Lodhi Colony. Very silent and calm place and it was not crowded. I would like to appreciate the hospitality of this place. Staff were very courties and polite. They serve like u r having food in 5 star hotel. They have variety of food and beverages. They have only 6 to 7 big tables available so it's better to book a table before visiting this place especially during weekends. Must try Jamun kulfi.

The place is quite good. It has a nice laid back atmosphere with similar service. Food quality is excellent and the taste is very authentic. It is a small, cosy place with limited seating. The only negative is that their restrooms are on the first floor and one has to climb stairs to access them which is difficult for old people or someone with disability. Parking is on the street. It is a high end restaurant and not for people with a limited budget.

Was surfing for a place to have a pleasant time and i would say this place have justified my intention. The place is beautiful. The retro Indian vibes you get are different. It really reminded me the summer times of my younger self. The place is beautiful with the authentic Indian vibes and the cherry on the top is the retro music. Menu over here is quite small what I felt by my experience and the portion what they are serving also are quite small, I would say that is the only thing I didn't like about the place. The taste is good. Service is awesome. The place is hard on pockets I would say that. If you are into retro Indian vibe, you should visit this place by my experience. Price for two: 2000 Rupees

Scrumptious food and a great theme. I’ve been here thrice and love the food so so much. - the service is incredible - the different winter and summer themes on the menu work well - Beetroot galouti is to die for! - Incredible fish and prawn curries Hands down, worth the expense.

Over rated restaurant.. it’s so noisy even if many tables are vacant(check videos).. owner needs to work on noise proofing.. just wanted to finish dinner quickly and move to quieter place.. experience was not worth the price paid.. though I appreciate the courteous servers.. some of the tables are too small to manage their large copper vessels and all the ordered items..

Great place to dine. Food (both veg and non veg) is simply amazing and ambience is old school with songs of 1960s-90s playing. Seating capacity is not much so booking in advance is recommended.

The food here is just amazing. They don’t have a lot of seating capacity so prior reservation is recommended. Everything from their veg starters to non veg main course was delicious. I particularly loved the dahi kebab and butter chicken. Would definitely be going back for more.

Ordered Aloo tuk for an experience of sindhi preparation. The packaging was very good with a solid cardboard box that mentioned the chef and the body temperature due to Covid regulations. The potatos had a flavourful coating of masala and yoghurt complimented the fried potatos. This came along eith fried chana dal, anardana and mint chutney.

Being in South Delhi it ought to be expensive. But was surprised by the interior which was nothing special compared to what they were charging. Unless you live near by or are a rich Uncle. Dont bother going. It's called Jamun probably because they have a jamun tree in the backyard.

The place is created nicely and they have good food too. They serve you additional quick eats with sauces in the beginning till the time your order. They have options for drinks, the food was tasty. The staff was cooperative and supportive too. Our drink was not good initially, so on telling the staff they changed the drink and didn't charge for it too and that was a nice gesture. I find this place small in terms of space. This place is good for casual dining but not for Date purposes. The experience was nice, but I believe we went on the wrong occasion.

Simply put you will be paying for the ambience and perhaps the location. The food is the exactly the same as a Moti Mahal or a Swagat (albeit in much smaller portions) depending on what you order. So unless you wanna pay for being seen at the Right places or impress a fancy date, I would skip it. The quality of the food is good and the service was nice but I'd rather go to a Pandara road and have the same food without burning my pocket.

Fantastic dining experience!! Even though the price is steep, the food quality, ambience and the taste makes up for it. They had a great selection at the bar, stocked with most of the popular single malts, they even had bourbon, not easily available. Courteous and attentive staff. Would love to see Kerala "mutton stew" added to their menu, which will go perfectly with their amazing Appams.

I have always loved Jamun Delhi as well as Jamun Goa! 💜 The old school music paired with the Jamun colored walls, the sweetest staff, the copper dinnerware & glasses, and the authentic food make for the best meal! The Sunday Brunch with mehendi, paan & chuski, made my meal all the more nostalgic. Highly recommend the Lamb Kebabs, Masala Shikanji, Dal Tadka & Chicken Changezi. 🥘 A wholesome experience as always.

Interesting menu of tastes and flavor combinations with a pleasant decor. Add in fast attentive service, a definite repeat. The only thing I might alter is the rooh afza lemonade could have a little less rooh and more nimboo.

Thank you so much for spoiling my day, your food quality is cheaper , similar to local "Dhaba" . Mutton ghee roast was full of salt ; worthless , chicken 17 was also third class, you wanna kill people with salt and oily, spicy ? Also : High charge for "Dhaba" food :)

Jamun has been on my list for sometime, the USP of the restaurant is the variety in the menu for various regions of India, all dishes were reasonably close to the originals. Mocktails were also well made. One observation, Dab chingri dish with just 4 prawns was bit of a joke, so management pay attention, minimum quantity should have been 6 to 8 prawns.

Really enjoyed our lunch at Jamun! Super food and really nice and friendly service. We decided to go for appetizers only but were surprised how generous the size of the mutton ghee roast was--it could easily have been a main course. It was delicious too, but it was the Bharwan Gucchi which was clearly the showstopper! Tandoori pomfret was cooked perfectly, moist fresh fish absolutely appropriately spiced. Our final dish, the dahi kebab was wonderful too, with the crushed green cardamom a really nice touch. Finally, to top off the meal we had an excellent rabri falooda. It's not usual for every item to hit the high notes, but Jamun certainly managed to do it!

Jamun is arguably the best restaurant in New Delhi. Every single dish on their menu leaves a memorable taste and makes you long for it once you step out of the restaurant. It has not disappointed in the 4 occasions that I've visited there. The decor is quite quirky and gives the impression of a Lutyens' Delhi house on a balmy June afternoon in the 1940s.

There's an excitement about this warm cozy place located on Lodhi road. First thing first, safety is well maintained 👍 The next aspect about food- which seems a bit OK only (nothing over the top) and a bit expensive on price points. The veg and non veg starters are good (taste and portion) but I am spoilt for choices now. Important- Visit this place if you're in neighbourhood and want to have food in a safe restaurant. I travelled from Gurgaon and my expectations were quite high. It was not worth that.

It was our first time at Jamun.. We tried chicken tikka for starters and Malabar parantha with mutton ghee roast for main course. The mutton was so soft and delicious that it melts in your mouth 😀 Can easily vouch it was one of the best mutton I tasted.. However its a bit pricey place and quantity served is a bit on the lower side. But tastes obviously one of the best 👍💯
