Tribes India started way back in the early 90s as a strong initiative by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and its marketing wing TRIFED to bring the unique ingenuity and skills beholding art of our vibrant and myriad tribes and forest dwellers to the forefront of Indian audience while striving for a global reach. One finds this measure by the government (through its various bodies, institutions, departments and undertakings) taking shape in displays at airports, railway stations, malls and emporia. Tribes India at Mahadev Road came up as the flagship premier oulet way back during early 1990s. I have been the lucky one to have visited after it was inaugurated. Many stores have opened since, in the country for outreaching the consumers, art aficionados, traders, marketers, etc.

A very nice place to witness the creations from Indian tribal people and that too at a very reasonable cost. A good initiative!! Really liked the place.

Great place to buy organic and original products . You can buy here cloth , grocery items , coffee ,dry fruits etc.

I most of the times visit for Turmeric which has curcumin around 7%, it is magical for arthritis patients or any bone injury. Second thing I mostly buy is Tulsi Syrup, it worked wonders at the time of COVID. Third thing is pain oil, Gultheria/roll on, any body pain just vanish in one application. They have metalic artefacts, sarees, suit collection and many more things... Do check this out. They keep all quality products.
