Facilities are good , doctors behaviour towards patients is polite ...Nurses other workers are rude . Cleanliness is pathetic here especially bathroom area. They don't even have soaps in washrooms. They fake their image that they maintain hygiene but honestly the main areas like toilets, sanitary areas are filthy. When I go to incharge or doctor for complain they simply say... It's a govt hospital ' what else can you expect talk to someone else. I'm showing the real pictures of their washroom's condition. Today is 06- September-2021

I recently had the opportunity to visit Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the level of healthcare services provided here. From the moment I entered the hospital premises, I felt a sense of professionalism and care that immediately put me at ease. The hospital's location is convenient and easily accessible, which is a huge plus. The staff, from the receptionists to the doctors and nurses, were all exceptionally friendly, attentive, and well-informed. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and provide me with the best possible care. The facilities at Dr. RML Hospital are top-notch, with clean and well-maintained rooms and state-of-the-art medical equipment. The hospital follows stringent hygiene protocols, which is especially crucial in a healthcare setting. I was particularly impressed with the efficiency of their services. Despite being a busy hospital, I didn't have to wait for an extended period to receive treatment or consultation. This speaks volumes about their commitment to patient care. In conclusion, Dr. RML Hospital is a shining example of a healthcare institution that prioritizes patient well-being. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care in the area. My experience here was nothing short of excellent, and I am grateful for the exceptional care I received.

A good and clean hospital. Much better than some other Delhi private hospital who are just aiming for money not caring about patients. Treatment, services, cleanliness, pricing is good. Doctor ,nurse and staff are polite may be not polite as private hospital (because what I have observed government hospital-straight to the point while private hospital- aim to make more money although there are some good private hospital also but believe me it's less than 10%). So if you want to go to hospital ( I hope you don't require it) then you can go for it. #lasttip eat healthy do exercise and live a happy life

This is very Unconvincing, my mother is admit in ward 16, there is no known women in my contact who can stay with her, we are 2 brothers and they are not allowing us to stay, think about those people who goes through this situation, you are not allowing mens in women's ward so you should place security there. Very bad and poor quality of rules which you have made. Just waiting and wondering around in RML #PoorRules

Doctors of this Hospital are too good, polite and Behave in well mannered way....Management is Good but some improvement require because sometime Security Gaurds are rude and violent on pateints....Lab Testing Facilities are good but a matter of concern is "staff quota" because one common man reach at testing center then 5 staff quota person easily come and go for testing and common man be waiting in que for hours due to staff quota....

The staff is very rude and impolite. They don't even know how to treat their patients. If you are going to to visit this hospital don't address their staff as aunty Or didi as they will be offended by it. They will create a mountain out of mole. Their services are way too bad, they made my pregnant sister kept waiting and then shouted at her, the doctor refused to check up on her as some reports were missing which was eventually their staff's mistake. The doctor and the sister who was responsible for the reports of my sister were at fault and when my sister spoke up they tried to shout at her, and told to leave the place. They didn't even care that she is pregnant and she will stress out the situation which apparently happened. Her condition got Worsen up and we had to take her to another hospital. During the covid times as well, this hospital had been the worse to it's patients.

lady in the room no.16 of neurology dept is pathetic...they were drinking tea in the working hours that's 9-11 am and when i showed her the receipt to do the EMG and NCV tests which was referred by the HoD of the orthopedic itself she asked me to go and confirm again if the tests are to be done. When I showed her that it already has been written on the receipt that tests have to be conducted her reply was when we would want to do it we will do it....no go and sit outside (ps: i did the tests from private hospital for which i had to pay Rs.6400 just cuz of these inhumane lazy people).....these are the govt people who take salary without giving a proper service to the common man....no wonder why the services dont reach to the door of the poor...on paper they have the good stats which cud be manipulated easily.....one of the worst health care services are provided here....i was running in the premises for 2 straight days just to collect the receipts from each dept so to consult doctors .....(ps: now ive all the parchis bt havent consulted any doctor because the are available only for 2 hrs a day i.e 9-11 am). Worst of the worst staff....

Although these hospital is free, but when someone got admitted there than doctors and staff will force you for doing check up from out side. They(hospital staff)will give your number to broker who done the checkups which will be not so necessary but doctor s will threatened you if don't done these checkups and receive report they will not treat the patients.when the check up is available in hospital so they will tell u it will take 2-3 days until no treatment. And when I denied after 2-3 check up than nurse and staff told me we will discharge u for bad behaviour. I was tensed for my mother and she passed away but if someone see this complaint this ASAP. This all has happened in new building and medical or either nephrology department.

Supposed to be premier hospital of Govt of India. But sorry to say still work in progress. This hospital complex is a huge one. Running OPD, Indoor services for ordinary citizens without any discrimination, the hospital failed to create trust among its visitors. Very very long quess at first at Registration counters then at outside of Doctor room make patients more patient. On the cleanliness front, hospital administration tried several times but i will say failed to achieve right sanitation of Washrooms. Doctors are good but they are not able to dedicate required time to patient due to huge waiting. Charges are very nominal here and staff is ok.

Writing this review is the least I can do to thank everyone at RML hospital who saved me from a life threatening disease and show some gratitude. I had hydrocele and I had unbearable pain on 25th and I rushed to ESI hospital in Sahibabad. They just gave me an injection and asked me to go to a Delhi govt hospital since they can only treat people who have ESI card. Then I went to nearby private hospital and they kept me for 2 days charging 15K only to momentarily relieve pain and was asking 25K for the operation in which they would remove the testis. I wanted to take a second opinion so I visited RML hospital on 27th at 9am, got, admitted after little bit of hassle at 1 am in emergency ward. However Upon arrival, I was immediately inspected by a team of young doctors who gave me pain relief drip. After that, they quickly explained the problem and solution and the risks involved in the surgery. I want to highlight that since it was a life threatening disease if not treated immediately, they were very caring and empathetic to my cause and helped us get the paperwork done. Though I had to do a lot of running here and there for test reports and paperwork, I was happy to do it since they immediately provided pain relief for few hours. By 5 pm they got me dressed for surgery and personally assisted me to the Operation Theatre. After giving me local anaesthesia, they carefully performed the surgery while being really kind and nice to me, I was really afraid of the surgery but they kept me calm. By 5:30 they finished putting stitches and finished the operation. I was really thankful for fixing the issue but they discharged me the very next day, due to which I got into a bigger problem. My stiches came out and my skin caught infection due to drainage left inside. I visited the hospital again in pain but this time, they quickly admitted me and took me for another surgery. However this time, a senior doctor closely inspected the situation and advised against the surgery, instead suggesting proper dressing and wound care. After keeping me in the emergency ward for 2 days, they transferred me to the surgical ward and looked after me for 3 days. Today, I got the discharge even though the wound has not healed completely, the doctors have asked me to visit the hospital for free dressing if I can't get it nearby. Overall, there was little bit of trouble I had to go through but the care I received was exceptional, considering it is a govt hospital, so it was totally worth it. I pray for the well-being of everyone who is need of health, and my best wishes and sincere thanks to the doctors for saving my life, truly angels sent by God.

Very crowded public hospital, even after some attempts by the Delhi government to bring some order and relief to the hospital system. The patients surging in and out, and waiting in the OPD halls is a sight to be concerned about. Being a comprehensive multi speciality hospital, it is spread far and wide in many blocks occupying a vast area. In fact, the mental health ward is totally outside in a different campus on the opposite side of the road. However, the emergency department and the seasonal diseases sections are more streamlined than the other OPD halls. Note: pl "like" if you like!

Good services compared to other government hospitals. For online OPD appointments, make sure you get a print out of your eOPD ticket/card. If you forget to take a print out, you can visit gate no. 4 and get a print out from there. Attached is the photo of where you can get print out from inside rml hospital. Note: Make sure you get a print out of eOPD ticket and not of the appointment slip.

Worst hospital and their staff is totally unpredictable.. On 22nd Oct I visited RML around 10 pm My child was having an right hand little finger injured with half nail removed due to cycle riding. The emergency section is ok they treated well.... But the place they sent us to the "2nd FLOOR OF RML HOSPITAL " There were 4 doctors were sitting over there and all they were not responding positively to us. One doctor was there I don't know his name (bald person).he said get an X-RAY AND ULTRASOUND OF MY CHILD which has no use.. We requested him to do the bandage of the finger because my CHILD WAS CRYING 😭 ALOT .but they misbehaved with us .. I do not recommend anybody to visit RML for any emergency. They are illiterate people seriously 😳 ....bahot hi bekar bakwas hospital. We were suffering with an injury and they want unnecessary X-Ray and ultrasound ms to b done. Waaahiyaad hospital same on u doctor's.

I had terrible experience with Kartika Gulati (Neurologist). She didn’t communicate during my appointments. I often felt rushed during consultations, with inadequate time to discuss my symptoms and concerns. This lack of attention left me feeling unheard and contributed to a sense of frustration and anxiety. Additionally, there were instances when she did not thoroughly explain my diagnosis or treatment options. I left some appointments with more questions than answers, which hindered my ability to make informed decisions about my health. Furthermore, the follow-up process was inadequate. I had difficulty reaching the office for additional questions and concerns, and there were delays in receiving important tests. The management at RML is also severely pathetic. Taxpayers’ money is being totally wasted in all possible ways. People from all sections of society come with hope and are treated in the most harsh manner while they wait in queue which is never ending.

Visit in their emergency, doctors are very unprofessional. All of them will write and say, come tomorrow in OPD They are not serious about people's lives, even though our govt is responsible for this. They have time to spend money for G20 summit but not spending money to save people lives in health sector.

Parso evening I took my nephew back from RML on 16/3/2024. What a bad staff there are, doctors and nurses are very bad. I had to worry a little bit about a nurse because of the oxygen cylinder because she was trying to give it while 4 oxygen cylinders were already running. At 2 o'clock in the night, my nephew's drip was not helping me and I said to my sister, come see me, the cannula is bad, the doctor will change it, I said where is the doctor, I said that all the docs are in emergency, there is no need. Then I called the doctor in an emergency because my nephew had been on drip for 4 days and was not given anything even though he was only 37 days old. The nurses sent my sister-in-law to emergency along with the ward boy and took out the cannula. When she came to the emergency, the doctor put in a cannula after 2 hours and then we stopped in the emergency and took our file. A lady, the doctor, who was most worried, told us to wait for the male to be born. The doctor put a cannula because my nephew was only 37 days old and then the doctor did not know what to write in my file and he sat with me saying to the doctor that there would be no complaint so he could not change the number. One more jn goes on. The doctor, probably her name is Bhanu, even tried to explain to us a lot in the emergency at 3 o'clock. He removed the tube in my nephew's nose which came out. I told the doctor a lot about the name Bhanu but he did not put it in till 7 o'clock. wo lady dr aayi tb jaker usne nali lagayi. Even after that I tortured him a lot and told him to go like this and then some people raised papal signs and he went away. I am showing the beauty of this world and these guards, ward boys, nurses and doctors have all met each other. No one is a person without conscience.

If you have patience then hospital is okay. Doctors who are HOD's are very polite and knowledgeable but if you are going for something related to Ophthalmology, please consider some other hospital. Ophthalmology department of this hospital has completely immature doctors. They do not have any manners and seems way immature. Even with patients who have physical disabilities, they treat them like trash.

Hospital facilities are good. As it is government hospital it takes lots of time for checkups you have to wait in a queue for hours. Security gaurds are not helpful that much. When I go for COVID test the technical staff brings 3 persons for the test without queue by threaten other persons by saying "staff chalta hai hamara" the security guards don't even listen when you call them for help. Then technical staff even fight with the queue persons he slap them and threaten people he called for police help. My experience is so bad here. Its takes more than 3 hours for my COVID test in a queue.

First , security guards and nurses always Rude behaviour and doing no care of patient . Some doctors are also careless ,they dont do so much efforts to save patient, they dont care any patient , My relative was going treatment in this hospital for 1.5 months when he has fit and discharged with death. This is the treatment they give. If they do work my relative would be saved... My advice plz don't go to this hospital for treatment because of careless treatment by doctor and staff behavior.

We asked them to help us adjust with some other patient..and they rudely said...this is not our work... I mean..how someone can do this to a sick person... They are not even worthy of the title DOCTOR... These kind of people are sabotaging the image of a government hospital!

The hospital is well not so much good not bad... It stands between good and bad... But the emergency ward is so bad... It has a long line if you have any serious problems you should not go there they will not help u instantly. The process will take time around.. 2 to 3 hours. The rest of the hospital is good but not the emergency ward. Doctors never took all patients seriously. Most of the patients died in the night at all hospitals but it's the doctors responsibility to handle the patients but they are the beginners who were handling there in an emergency in the rml therefore... They have no experience nor practice on how to deal with it in a serious situation.

Pathetic hospital, even if they charge less but no proper treatment, dirty, rude behaviour by staff, no facilities provided, even to critical patients they don't pay much attention. The food given to patients had fungus on them. Overall a very bad hospital for treatment. Don't even deserve 1 star.

Very bad Services and some doctor behaviour is very bad. In 2023 when I visited with my younger brother in emergency but doctor on duty is not agree to admit and told me that emergency ICU bed is not available. When my one of the relative came and call to known doctors and then doctors on duty give bed in emergency ICU then I saw that total 16 emergency bed in RED zone was vacant. But doctor told me that no bed in red zone after my request by me. Very bad behaviour of Drs.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, New Delhi, India, A central government hospital And so, RML became the first hospital to have a nursing home facility in the capital. Post Independence, on January 1, 1954, the government of India took control of the hospital from the NDMC. In 1962, it came under central health service. Best in government The infrastructure is so good in RML, I have not seen much cleaner government hospital then RML. They treat patient very well, as we all know that thousands of people come in government hospital but still they give best treatment.

If there was an option for a lower rating, I would have chosen it. They spend their time idly, playing office politics and repeatedly delaying tasks. The facilities are subpar, and it feels like our tax money is being squandered by these arrogant, rude, and exploitative individuals. Instead of getting paid they behave as hospital belongs to there father, they are not doing any social service. They misuse there privilege and exploit common people. Democracy serves the interests of the wealthy, is controlled by the wealthy, and benefits the wealthy.

Worst Hospital ever, being this much famous among delhi hospitals. Nurse behaviour is very very rude, they hitting the patients. One of my uncle was admitted in this hospital and nurse hit him very hard. They should understand the condition of the patients from they are going through. Doctors will be like "if you are this much suffering from our service then take them to private hospital" What kind of doctors say like this Worst Hospital

Today i visit RML in gynecologist department, senior doctor came at 10am and she busy on call with family, and trainee student observing me and she denied on my every explained problem by saying that it's normal, Ater asking 2-3 questions she became rude and in between senior dr scold that girl by saying don't waste more then 3min on single patient. When i remind her their duties and told that i am not waiting for you before 7am for this ,then she call security and said enka ho gya enhe le jaoo or next patient ko bhejho. In this total time senior doctor doesn't watch any thing and observe her students like is she prescribing right medicine or not she continues busy on call.

A hospital crowded with patients. Patients from far off places visit this hospital for treatment. Most ailments treated free of cost.Doctors try their level best to provide all available medical facilities to patients. One or two more hospitals of this stature are required to meet the needs of patients.

This is a large hospital, one of the top govt. Hospitals in Delhi, capable to handle critical medical, and surgical cases. There is a large number of senior and junior doctors present 24*7 to attend all types of patients coming from adjoining states also. Cleanliness is very good here at Ram Manohar Lohia Govt. Hospital. It is situated near Gole Market, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib and Gurudwara Rakab ganj sahib.

Dr. Noopur Gupta (otorhinolaryngologist), ENT department, her behavior was very rude, no professionalism in handling the patient and their relative, her behavior resisted me to proceed my medical process with her, feels like pouring out her frustration of probably studies or other patients on another patient. Huge respect for doctors but even patients deserve some respect. They need to have some social understanding as well. Although, even after her being so rude, we were not rude even for once, thinking she is a new-age doctor who needs to work on her professionalism, hope the best for her. Some patients especially their relatives are very innocent, don't make them feel inferior with your egoistic behavior. I never wrote any negative review ever but her behavior was uneducated a unethical.

Doctors and guards in the emergency trauma and care department has the worst behaviour and basic humanity is lost. Guards were literally laughing while looking at the patient and family. Emergency is not really an emergency for them. If you are coming here expect to get the worst treatment and you'll have to do everything on your own. No one would be helping you rather they will laugh at your misery. There is no bed in emergency department and you have to arrange a stretcher for your patient yourself. Even psychatry doctors are addressing anxiety disorder as uneasiness. Ibhas being another govt. Hospital knows how to tackle has the best behaviour and care in emergency department.

Dr. Behaviour towards patient is good but the registration department staff is very rude. The UHID number on my OPD registration card is printed in such a way that it's not understandable, which is why I'm unable to book an online appointment. I called customer service and they spoke to me very rudely and said that it's not their fault and that I should come to the hospital to get my work done. They said they can't do anything. I'm really disappointed.

  • 1/5 Kunal K. 11 months ago on Google
Doctors are unsupportive and impolite. They will deny you for the patient's admission upfront. It is a common practice. Upon raising requests to CMO (Chief Medical Officer) they will diagnose but afterwards will deny the admission. Despite being a govt hospital, they purposely hide details of the beds. Most probably for people who bribe them. Senior doctor threatened to do what we may, he will make sure that our patient will not be admitted in the hospital. I tried requesting ECRO (Emergency Control Room Officer) but the security guard made sure that we couldn't meet him. Somehow after some reference, they miracously arranged an O2 support bed for our patient. During this stressful situation, 4 hours were wasted. The following day our patient died and we got a slip declaring death and no treatment papers were provided. It seemed that it is also a common practice of this hospital. All senior doctors and staff are unanimous over this discrete unlawful activity. The Medical Council of India Regulations,2002 has mentioned the guidelines on medical records. Section 3 of The Indian Evidence Act, 1872 clearly says that these documents can be presented as evidence before the "court". They are surely not providing the documents to cover up possible negligences at their hand. They cannot deny the medical records of the deceased to their relatives, that is unlawful. It's not just this hospital, we are dealing with corruption in almost every government hospital. The reasons may be anything like the fear for losing the job or life or a share of bribery. The poor will keep struggling for the good treatment and conduct in government hospitals which will happen definitely never.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital is situated on Baba Kharak Singh Marg, New Delhi, India. The hospital was founded in 1932 by the British Raj for their own government staff. In 1954, the control of the hospital was transferred to the Central Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It was renamed in the 1970s after Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, the most important proponent of socialist ideology in India. The hospital is spread over 30 acres , with 4 acres of land set aside for its Nurse's Hostel. It is a Central Government hospital because of its well-positioned location, a seventy-one bed Nursing Home for Central Government Health Scheme beneficiaries, and extensive subspecialty care.

Worst emergency service I ever seen in any government hospital. Doctors are not serious about the patient. The service provided by any of the volunteer inside the emergency ward is so poor. They don't even want to help the patient, poor communication with the patient. There is not even a single sign of emergency outside the emergency ward. Overall I had such a bad experience and will not suggest anyone of the serious patient to visit here in case of emergency. Here is the photo of their emergency ward.
