Kaleva is an overhyped name, as of today. Their all time family diner is a place where the staff is extremely ill mannered. We expected at least the food to be better. But that too was disgusting. They serve in paper plates used in road side carts or cheap dhaba. The quality of the food is worse than your least expectations. The dal tadka is watery and tastes salty and nothing else. The roti is like paper thin and made of maida. The icing on the cake is the flies swarming over your food. A very horrible and annoying experience. Best avoid this moribund place not fit to be called a restaurant. You go out and eat to enjoy. This is absolutely not the place. You are made to feel as if it's free food being distributed.

A popular sweet shop known for its fresh, delicious sweets and namkeens. The name has become synonymous with good quality and hygienic desi ghee sweets. They should maintain their quality

Fantastic food! Every item on the menu is delicious and the portions served are pretty large. The quality and the quantity of all items is just too good. I've relished the snacks from here all my childhood and I make sure to eat here once in my every visit to India. There is provision for standing inside the shop. Snacks, fast food, north Indian delicacies, south Indian stuff, sweets, namkeens etc...they have got it all. Would highly recommend all foodies to have a go here!

I have bought moongdaal 'A mellow snack made of fried Moong Pulse tooped With salt' on 2 October 2022 that I opened it on the way in My car and eating, it was Almost finished. Next day I opened again at home then my son has seen many cereal worm which is also fried, so i wouldn't never recommend kaleva and its other packed products, if they are careless packed products like this, i don't know what they will serve in their daily menu products.

Kaleva is a must visit if you are in Delhi and if you enjoy that Puri sabzi breakfast during the morning time! Gutte ki Subzi and Bedvi Poori is a great combo here. Their Kesar Ghevar is also a crowd favorite.

No words can describe the awesome taste of the pani puri or the Gol gappa. The puri served is not from this world it just melts in your mouth. Also tried the Dahi bhalla and Bhalla papri which ia mouth watering. You must try this place definitely. I highly recommend the same.

I ordered Dhahi bhalla & one desert named Honey moon. They were OK. Quality wise its an average sweetshop. Items seems costly in respect to price. The hype didn't meet the expectations.

Yummy food .. The original kaleva. No compromise on quality , pocket friendly meals. Must haves : 🙂 Jalebi 🙂 Bedmi puri with gatte ki sabzi ( Sunday Spl) 🙂 Fafda and mirchi 🙂 Plain wafer 🙂 Gajar Halwa 🙂 Raj Kachori 🙂 Gulab Jamun There is no seating available in this outlet. But it has the charm of eating and gossiping together with friends and family. Courteous and friendly staff. Dad's Favourite vegetarian food joint since late 1980's.

A nice place for having family time ! The sitting is pretty much comfy and they have a system of automatic token. You get a device which vibrates as soon as your order is ready, till that time you can continue with your conversations without any worries of looking for your order . Decent decor, well maintained. We ordered 1) South Indian thali - 1 dosa , 1 uttapam, 1 idli and 1 Vada .. loved their uttapam - 8/10 .. their uttapam was amazing !!!!! 2) cold coffee - a bit watery , didn't enjoy it much. 6/10 3) dahi golgappa - 10/10 super tasty 4) Veg pizza- 6/10 5) kaleva kulfi 8/10 6) Matka kulfi - so yummy .. but quantity is less according to the price Taste 10/10 but all over due to high price 7/10 7) kacha gola 9/10 8) anjeer barfi 9/10 Service is good. You should definitely visit if you are going out with your fam :)))

Amazing authentic local food, and some other options. Same quality as your 5* hotel but 10x cheaper. Great staff!

Decent place, the sitting area is not too big, but still it has around 12-15 tables. The food is good, but it is better to go for indian chat items and snacks as the place is famous for these type of foods

They had an awesome number of varieties of each sweet dish...like three types of ras malai...three types of dhodha...10 types of ghachak...two types of panjiri (gond and Shahi)...four types of gulab jamun...five types of dhokla...four types of kachori...four types of cup sweet dishes...two types of rabris...two types of ghujia (normal sugar coated Mawa ghujia and kesariya ghujia) and some sweets i saw for the first time in here in Delhi..good part is that there are so many customers for each thing that everything is fresh Staff was polite, fast serving and accomodating. Really liked it...none of the food or snacks dishes were too spicy or oily...it gave me the feeling of standing at one of the old sweet shops that make you feel comfortable and at home! A must go

Kaleva is just another run-of-the-mill sweet joint. It's primarily a takeaway place with a few high tables for stand-up dining. The desserts in the Indian sweets counter looked enticing, so I ordered malai roll and baked rabri. Unfortunately, both were beyond disappointing. The malai roll was abysmal and didn't taste smooth or creamy, more like a glorified cham-cham. The baked rabri sounded unique but didn't taste different from the usual rabri. It was thick and lumpy and tasted rather bland.

Kaleva has four outlets out of which one is for sweets, the second is a restaurant, the third is a bakery or the last one is an outlet for ice cream, shakes or desert. At the sweet shop you will get delicious sweets of every kind along with snacks like dhokla kachori chaats kanji bada chole bhature etc. Their food in the restaurant is without onion and garlic, it's a multi cusine restaurant and this is a great place for Jain people, where different type of snacks food items are available for breakfast, lunch or dinner and all are fresh and tasty. Their bakery is in the name of Cream n Crisp, where all the bakery items are found or all the bakery items are made absolutely fresh and eggless, biscuits, namkeens, cakes, pastries, snacks, pizza, burgers, etc. all types of breads, kulchas, buns, etc. All food items made from Kaleva is very good quality and fresh. It is very good, tasty and of good quality. Must try from sweets - marwadi laddus, All burfis, kalakand freshly made, rabri rassmalai gulabjamun and jalebi. Gajar ka halwa winters, ghevar of diffrent varities (during teej festival and in sawan).

I have first visited the place in 1997 when i shifted to delhi on recommendation of Delhlites of my office. Yet was disappointed by quality of mutter kachori and other snacks. After 26 years, when my office is adjacent to this outlet at Gole Market, again had a chance to go there and buy sweets n snacks. Still, I feel it's not worth the hype. Mutter kachories stuffing are too dry to relish. sweets are just okay. Nothing great.

Sweets are good. Only trusted shop in New Delhi. Deducted 1 star just for the management. No one manages to avoid the crowd during this covid time

Amazing mangi kulfi. Yes it's actually kulfi inside a mango fruit. Busy place. Good sweets. A bit pricey but worth it

The quality has been degraded their chole bhatura were found tasteless to me and i was given green chutney with rotten cucumber in it which severely smelling bad and the bhatura was just like a deep fried ruber malai ghevar was also not even fresh plus not worth according to the price they have mentioned . For me its not worth now to go there.

Mind-blowing sweet variety, vegetarian snacks are also available. All famous North Indian veg options are available. Clean shop with loads of options to eat. At the heart of the city hence easily accessible too.

Not sure about how they are with everything except gulab jamun as I've been visiting this place for their gulab jamuns only. Must try. Get gulab jamuns from this place, get some vanilla ice cream and you have a superb sweet dish for your guests at home.

Kaleva as the name suggests "Morning Breakfast" traditionally. Its a shop and not restaurant. Place to eat is very limited & standing. That is where the purpose is defeated. I hope the owner will understand the main point.
