The avenue is the putting green connecting the India Gate to the Rashtrapati Bhavan, called as Raj path. The Green stretches on the sides have pools of elongated water body on either side. One of those pools have boating organised by Delhi tourism.

Staff is nice, classic popcorn, ice cream and cold drinks available, not much rush and good nice experiance. All boats are pedal boats, no need to take help however if you do need someone to pedal then charges are Rs.50.00 for half an hour. No helpdesk available only ticket counter is there. Boat club offers boating for 30 minutes with capacity of 4 persons, it should be two adults and two children. The charge is Rs.130 for half an hour. Another boating facility available in Delhi is in Purana Kila near zoo. It is located beside Central Secretariat metro station and is open from 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. everyday. The water is shallow and not clean but the ambience around will take you to a romantic mood. Lush greenery around and India gate at a stone throw away distance is not to be missed. Good. These days are the best time for going boating. Make sure to get the oar boats so you get some good exercise.

One of great place to visit in Delhi, also this place have great place to visit with the family, Here spacious lawn both the side of Rajpath where we can visit with the family.

It is an iconic picknik spot near india gate. The place needs to be spruced up and the area needs to be developed as a safe place for kids

Nice to go to the boat club in delhi. Water is shallow and the breeze is good. although they dont row boats to full lenghts of the pond.still you get a reasonalble time on the boat. Directly outside the central secratariate metro. Go in the evening just before the sunset. Have a nice time.
