You can never guess the price there.... extremely costly. Good quality stuff is missing and average quality stuffs are highly priced....In all emporium same story.

All the state emporiums are displaying and selling the traditional and ethnic items of that particular state. But this does not apply to the Delhi emporium , nothing special.. Everything displayed here is available in any other local market of delhi.

Good place to shop for Indian goods at reasonable prices. Not top quality, but good quality. It is State-run and checkout takes longer than shopping even if you are the only customer. Despite the fact that at least three employees will check your purchase and receipt, make sure you also check it as they seem prone to mistakes. Be careful if salesmen or women trying to offer you discounts without receipts. Not only will you not be able to return merchandise, but you are illegally cheating the State of tax income.

They collect selected elegant pieces in suits from the markets of Delhi and therefore have some unique combinations...they also keep mix and match products like dupattas of bandhani, silk and cotton along with plazos and churidars...they have a good range of sizes...in seldom varieties of cloth like ahimsa silk, they do keep cloth material...this comes once in six months. In pashmina section of theirs, they do have original ones also...this range is more oriented towards elderly people...for very young people it's out of reach as a good piece costs about 24000... They also have male and female jackets...which are trendy and elegant.

Established in the 1950s, the State Emporium in CP comprises arts and handicrafts emporia. At first It is a one-stop tour of the amazing variety and sheer diversity of handicrafts from the various States of India.

Great place to shop traditional/handcrafted products, made in and around Delhi. I could see vast variety of things like crockery, bags, fabrics, leather stuff, clothes, some furniture items, wooden stuff, statues, vases etc. And the prices were reasonable too. Would love to visit again.

Nicely decorated handicraft items. Sales madam of basement copper & brass items section has very good approach & proper attention. We have very high words for her sincerity.

The place where I visiting is nearby Jain Book Store. The shop is very cool and I was purchased a diary from there which is also good. They have a good collection of diaries and other stationeries.

Excellent staff! The staff here were genuinely enthusiastic about showing the pieces on display. We were even offered water bottles on a hot afternoon. The price is on the higher side but if you prefer to avoid haggling while buying authentic stuff, then this is the place!

The emporium provides a great variety of traditional and cultural products originating from various Indian states including Bengal, Gujrat, Bihar and more. I personally loved the Bengal store the most in terms of variety and service, both. Definitely worth a visit!
