Fabulous
hotel
set
in
the
wonderful
village
of
Lyndhurst.
Rooms
are
comfortable
and
very
warm
which,
during
hot
summer
evenings,
isn't
so
great.
No
air-conditioning
as
it
is
a
very
old
building
so
windows
will
need
to
be
wide
open.
Unfortunately,
it's
a
noisy
hotel
with
people
returning
late
into
the
night
and,
with
thin
walls
and
floors,
every
stomp
and
chat
is
heard.
Dinner
was
very
nice
here
as
was
breakfast
and
the
staff
are
very
attentive
(Otto,
Charlie
and
Lucy).
Lots
of
parking
spaces
to
be
had
but
lots
to
walk
to
including
the
New
Forest,
which
is
along
the
road,
with
New
Forest
ponies
to
greet
you.
Also,
the
hotel
is
opposite
a
church
where
Alice
Liddel
(Mrs
Reginald
Hargreaves)
is
buried
--
she
is
the
Alice
from
Alice
in
Wonderland.
Lyndhurst
has
many
tea
rooms,
restaurants,
cafes
and
shops
to
wander
round.
Besides
the
very
noisy
environment,
the
hotel
is
lovely
and
warrants
a
visit.
