Hidden gem and good bbq. Stumbled upon this place by accident in Mahone Bay. Cute little shop that serves Texas BBQ. You can dine in, or you can pick up frozen meals for later. Recommend this place as a stop for a quick bite to eat. Oh, yeah, great service as well!

This place is exceptional. Great menu offered with so many choices. Food was outstanding. We had the pulled pork and rib sandwiches. Both were very tender with a great smokey taste. Toppings enhanced the flavours. Best BBQ in Nova Scotia. An amazing place to sit outside and enjoy a meal in a pretty town. 5*s to the owner and staff. So fortunate that the owner who originates from Texas has brought BBQ to Mahone Bay. All staff were extremely friendly and provided top service. Will definitely return. Don't delay, try it out.

Great place for a quit bite to eat or buy frozen cooked meat, meals and spices. I really recommend this hidden gem! The owners, Mickey and Luke (the pitmaster), are awesome and love to share their passion for BBQ. Trust me, they definitely know how to cook meat. You won’t be disappointed! Sad they don’t own a restaurant in Montreal! Next time we go to Mahone Bay, we will go see them again for sure!

I stopped by this spot after a bike ride last Friday and had to come back to leave a review! I ordered The Holy Trinity sandwich and got a Mexican Cola Jarittos for a drink. First just want to say the staff are incredibly friendly, so be prepared to experience some real Southern hospitality if you drop in. The Holy Trinity sandwich was amazing on many different levels (literally). It comes with a single pork rib pinned to the top of the bun. No lie, this was the best pork rib I've ever had in my life. I usually need to reach for some extra BBQ sauce or hot sauce when having ribs - not this one. The rub is INSANE and it was cooked to fall off the bone perfection, yet still retained its form and didn't totally collapse when I bit into it. Next the sausage and brisket were both amazing in their own right. Personally I would have preferred a single slab cut of brisket (as opposed to the fractured pieces they serve), but it doesn't take away from how good the brisket tastes and how well it was cooked. Finally the bun was soft/delicious and I appreciated the minimal amount of toppings (since the meat is the clear star of the show). Definitely a must-try for anyone passing through who's into Texas BBQ!

We decided to try this spot today after seeing a great review and it did not disappoint!!! the food was amazing as was the service! We got the po po and the 2 step... SO DELICIOUS!! If I hadn't been stuffed I would have grabbed one of the ones we didn't try. Guess that just means I'll have to go back and try them! Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The unique story of this little place was what drew us in- but the food and the wonderful service- will make us return. Can’t say enough about their Salad…i know what you’re thinking…salad?!? Really?!? Yes…it was unique and absolutely delicious! Their nachos are spicy and delicious too with a generous amount of toppings!

Everything on their menu is amazing! I’ve been a couple times and every time it’s delicious and everyone there is so friendly. I’d love to stop in every time I’m in Mahone Bay, can’t wait to go back again!

So dang good! Best brisket I've ever had

~$80 for a takeout lunch for 4 of a few brisket sandwiches was a bit much but overall the quality was good. Bowls are much better bang for your buck!

Very quick kitchen, food was tasty too.

Hands down the best BBQ in the province, my wife and I happily drive 45 minutes for lunch whenever we get the chance. Also a great place to get all your BBQ seasoning needs as well, highly recommend checking them out.
