I feel lucky to have found this cafe! Well, actually, my husband found it, so I’ll give him the proper credit. We had an espresso and their veggie and vegan sandwich. Delicious! And the space is adorable. I got to hone my artistic ability with the chalk and chalkboard at our table. Unfortunately, it is most likely erased by now, but the picture of my picture is truly worth a thousand words 😂

Interesting spot! The interior is wonderfully done. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos. Seat spacing is well done. And prices were good. We ordered an iced coffee and iced decaffeinated Americano. Both were pretty large but the nice thing is the offer to ice the decaffeinated drinks. The coffee has a good taste, pretty strong when drank black. Not burnt, very bold. Overall recommend!

Found The Lucky Bean when visiting the nearby wharf area and needing a coffee. The coffee and coconut crumble banana muffin were great. Ended up going back twice for breakfast and take out sandwiches for the drive home. Varied menu serves breakfast, lunch and snacks. Also licensed. Lovely service and atmosphere. My husband and I would be regulars if we lived in Montague. Thanks to the staff.

What a beautiful coffeeshop. Stopped here on a Monday morning for a coffee and a snack, and wasn’t left disappointed. The latte was very good, and the pecan pie was just heavenly. Maybe the avocado toast could have had a bit more avocado for the price. But in general, an incredible place!

Took our Holland College Transitions students to Lucky Bean for our food review assignment! Coffee & tea & hot chocolate always hot - always delicious. Gluten free cookies reasonably priced, and one student tried a waffle (add banana and chocolate) - 4/5 on that waffle - very tasty and presentation was excellent. We are so happy to have this local gem in Montague!

Great independent coffee shop, with records for sale at the back and some other locally made treats. We are picky about coffee and they make great espresso. The food was delicious, has a relaxing atmosphere and some games. We are from out of town they gave us greater recommendations on shops and places to visit. Really friendly, would highly recommend.

Very delicious sweet cakes and healthy balls. Great coffee and espresso in all kind of varieties. Compared to other possibilities to drink coffee, its amazing here. Coffee art could be improved. Keep in mind they close at 4 pm. So if you sit outside, you will not be able to reenter to the washing room, if you came in late afternoon, all will be closed exactly at that time.

Overall we had a very pleasant experience at The Lucky Bean and would recommend it if you are looking for a trendy coffee shop on the east end of PEI. The following is the breakdown of my scale for rating restaurants. Customer Service 5/5 - staff were extremely friendly during our time there Presentation 4/5 The iced Coffee, Smoothie and Avocado Toast looked amazing from when they walked around the corner the sandwich was nothing special Value 1/5 coffee is the only good value item we had. Everything else did seem expensive for what it was. Taste 3/5 Breakfast Sammy was bland and ham seemed like it came from the deli isle at the grocery store. Avocado on toast was creamy with a bit of lemon, my wife highly recommends their ice coffee and the berry punch smoothie was delicious, but a bit overpriced in my opinion Cleanliness/ Facilities / Decor 5/5 The restaurant was very clean with a nice decor Overall "The Lucky Bean" earns a 18/25 on our rating system

A wonderfully upscale coffee shop with drinks and pastries that rival the best I have had anywhere! The barista was fast and very talented. Food was interesting, well prepared and very tasty! Even if you have to divert your travels to get here, they are worth it! Friendly and welcoming!

Great little coffee shop! Drove into town and stumbled upon this place. We got a quick drink and ice cream before getting back on the road. Friendly service and tasty treats.

Cute cafe with great smoothies and games, would recommend!

This is a great little cafe, the staff were super kind and friendly. I stopped in on a rainy day for a quick bite and enjoyed sitting, sipping and reading a book. The brownie was so decadent and gooey and the oat milk flat white was superb.

Only had coffee. A bit expensive. Got 2 flat whites that tasted a bit burnt. Cute cosy place, with board games, records and local art for sale. Service was unenthusiastic.

Love the selection of coffee, tea, baked goods, snacks and lunch items. Matt and his team cater to so many dietary needs...keto, gluten free, vegetarian etc. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. This place is a must go to for great service, food and beverages!
