Weekdays are chill, the place really comes alive in the evening after 5. Afternoons are great for a relaxing stroll and window shopping. They have a wide variety of food options and a few great dessert spots 😋 The river walk is built around so much history so it’s fun to do a bit of research before going out and seeing what you’ve read irl. Other than the historical background its not really blowing my socks off but it’s definitely something to do and enjoy !

Be sure to check out the Riverwalk if you’re in Wilmington. Great views of the river, boats on the water and the battleship. There are several accessible shops and restaurants adjacent to the Riverwalk. Just a few steps from this area is more shopping, specialty shops, coffeehouses, etc. This makes for a great way to get some steps in while enjoying this relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Had a beautiful experience at Wilmington Riverwalk! There are lot of restaurants along the river walk! It’s next to the market street, so there are lot of shops and food options as well! The riverwalk have lot of seating options along the way! I was able to experience a beautiful sunset! There is a good Gelato place as well! Overall a good place to experience the nature and have some good food!

The view was beautiful and relaxing. There is construction and fences in some areas but overall it was still nice. The small shops and eateries are amazing.

Great, relaxing walk area! Cleanly well maintained, and with beautiful views. Plenty of seating if wanting to sit and read a book or wanting to gaze into waters and get lost! Had a nice, relaxing walk today.

Ghost tour was great!!! Weirdest this was our guide was born on the same day and year as me!!! What are the odds of that. Highly recommend doing this. Some of the architecture on the houses and buildings is amazing.

Nice little walk around the riverfront. We went after dinner in December the lights were pretty.

It was a hot and humid day but we had a great time checking out the Riverwalk! They had a farmers market to check out! Stores were open to purchase their items!

Liked the Riverwalk quite a bit in terms of views of the river and surroundings, though I am pretty sure I didn't see all of it.

We walked and walked. There is a very scenic view of the battleship from the Riverwalk. We walked through several shops, including a fudge and confectionary shop. We will go back to try some fudge. We found a variety of restaurants in the area. We finally decided on Hell's Kitchen. That was a nice treat. The food was good. The service was nice.

We arrived at 10am. Parking was easy to obtain. The walk was nearly empty. Very picturesque location. Quite a few neat buildings in the area.

Beautiful area for shopping, food and walking along the river. I loved the Venus flytrap sculptures.

Beautiful small town feel board walk. Lots of restaurants to stop at. Many shops around. Local tours near by. Great views of the bridge, battleship, sunset, pirate ship, sailboats, etc.

Lots of great stuff going on this weekend. Got to eat a lot of great food and fine dining.

A long and beautiful walk along the river with great shops and a beautiful park on the south side. Dog friendly. Free but you'll have to pay for parking.

Such a beautiful place to spend time in. Definitely a must of you go to Wilmington. Great views of the massive Battleship North Carolina.

Great place for a sunset walk! Plenty of places to explore, from bars and restaurants, to ice cream, candy and sights to see! The kids loved running up and down along the water and seeing all the local spots!
