Nice pie with an identity crisis. It wants to be a Neapolitan with the New Haven flare, but doesn’t do either well - not chewy or airy enough for a Nea, not crispy or substantial enough for a NH. That said, it’s a light, tasty pizza that you can def enjoy with a beer. Good ingredients and toppings. Staff was great! Cool shirts!

Competes with the pizza staples in New Haven. You won’t be disappointed but the menu can use some expansion. The equipment is there to brew beer and they were in the past; they should begin brewing again!

Got the traditional 16 inch pizza and came away with mixed feelings. The ingredients were amazing and the pie was very flavorful. The downside was that it was a bit floppy and a little too cheesy. I think if it had more crisp it could’ve topped some of the other popular pizza spots in the area. The restaurant is very beautiful, clean, and visually appealing. It was cool being able to watch our pizza being made. I’d definitely recommend for those trying to avoid the big lines at Sally, Pepe, & Modern

I very rarely leave negative reviews. When we first arrived we thought this would be a great place for a future family event we're planning. But we won't be returning. Food was fine -- one note, a pizza that didn't list tomato sauce as an ingredient had a ton of tomato sauce on it. Still good though, just not what was described on the menu. The service was terrible. Our waiter made us feel like an inconvenience to him. And they weren't busy at all. Took over ten minutes to get a beer while the bartender and waiter were chatting in different parts of the restaurant. Then I saw the waiter come up behind the bartender and stick his finger in the bartender's ear. Gross.

The Honey Pot pizza is the best topping combo I’ve tried in New Haven (maybe ever??) The flavor was incredible. Pizza was delicious and crispy. Came on a Monday night and was seated right away. Friendly staff, great dining experience! Wish they had regular soda - they only have Foxon Park which is not my favorite.

New Haven, CT is known for their pizza. As someone from New Jersey, this is a statement. Many of the other iconic New Haven pizza places have lines out the door- even in the rain. We decided on Da Legna because it was the only restaurant without a line and we could sit down. The pizza was good. The crust was great. There’s also vegan options, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself would be great for a private party.

An amazing new entrée into the New Haven pizza scene. Large open space with long tables for those in a group or comfortable booths for smaller parties. Menu is diverse and awesome as there a lot of choices beyond pizza, especially the salad offerings which are large and other items including pasta. Of course I love pizza and there are many varieties served in a small size ($20) or large size($29). These prices reflect specialty pizzas with multiple toppings and handcrafted. If you want the basics, you can get them at a much less cost. Beer and wine and cocktail offerings round this out.

This pizza was excellent!! We had 1/2 meatball and it was definitely the way to go! Service was great and although it was a Friday night we didn’t have to wait. I tried a Slovenia Sauvignon blanc and it too was really good!! We will for sure will be back!!

We have been here multiple times for pizza and cocktails. I’m just disappointed now as a first time mom, we brought our 9th month old and they don’t have a changing table. Not family friendly. That’s why I gave them 4 stars.
