It's a great museum - a 5 star museum with 1 star hours hence a 3 star review. Only 2 half days a week makes it nearly impossible to enjoy this special place! Adding even one more weekday would be huge!!!

It is amazing fact that we have this wonderful Children's fun place in downtown New Haven. Cute looking outside, thoughtful management. I hope we could more advertising this place as our hidden treasures.

Best for kids under the age of 7. Good programs on offer, friendly staff, and the exhibits are nice but somewhat basic. Good way to spend an hour or two with a youngster.

The museum is broken up into different rooms, each focusing on a different learning style. My children enjoyed their time there. It was not as engaging for me as other museums, but then again, it is a children's museum

Children are too good to play and educational. There is also an elevator. However, it is doubtful whether there is a parking space. I parked on the street, but I felt overburdened. There was no staff inside so there was also a cluttered space.

Great for interactive play. It's not flashy, but that's what makes it great. Super fun and educational. My kid loved playing with everything.

The students had a blast. They were so excited to engage in all the areas. They received a book. It's a trip I would do again.

Although I've never actually been here, as I live in Texas, I was inquiring about purchasing tickets for my niece who lives in Connecticut Sandra, who works there assisted me wonderfully! She was so pleasant to talk to and helped me with everything that I need. I hope my niece has a great time at the Children's Museum!

Some of my favorite pictures of my son were taken here. Absolutely great children’s museum. We’re lucky to have this place in New Haven.

I took my niece before the pandemic and she loved it! It was so much fun! There were different rooms for exploration, reading, or hanging out and learning. They had a guitarist come and give a "show" to a group of kids. My niece was delighted. There was even a room where she got to try different costumes and play around. Thank you for an awesome experience.

We like the museum a lot. Unfortunately everytime we went there feeling we are not wanted by the staff working there. If you don't want to open or feel like it's extra work. Just don't open on saturdays!!!!

Awesome children’s museum in New Haven! It’s $10 per person for everyone more than one year old. They are currently only open Saturdays from 12-5pm. We went around 1 pm and it wasn’t super busy. The best part was the Goodnight Moon room - I’ve read this book to my daughter countless times and she loved seeing the “real” room.
