I googled best massage places in New Haven and The Serene Spot popped up. I was looking for a massage last minute and I was thrilled that they could accommodate me the next day for a 60 minute deep tissue. Michelle was my therapist and she was AMAZING. She gave me one of the best massages that I’ve ever had. I will absolutely go back here and I strongly suggest that others check this place out.

Would never trust them with my credit card number again! I paid in full for an appointment (there’s no option to pay after the service) and then had to cancel days before due to a conflict. It was well within their cancellation policy. They never refunded me the money and I’ve been trying to contact them by calling multiple times (they have never picked up) and even texted the owners direct line with no response. They completely ghosted me! It’s been over a month since the charge was supposed to be refunded. I have filed a chargeback and complaints. Zero customer service or care.

Wish I would have found this place sooner! A month ago I had a facial by Melissa that was so relaxing and my skin has literally never looked so good. Today I had a deep tissue massage by Michele and again OMG! She paid attention to my needs and adjusted the massage to best suit me. Michele is very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Melissa G, is the BEST! I work in a profession that is taxing on the body and I frequently have aches and pains. Consistent monthly visits with Melissa and within two visits my pain is completely gone. Absolutely incredible massage therapist and really makes me feel comfortable.

My wife booked an hour and a half couples massage. The location is very pristine and well-maintained, staff is very friendly and professional, and the massage was superb. Definitely recommend them for a destress massage session!

Jo was excellent, asked me where my issues were, assessed my pain points and what I've done to help, offering suggestions, and really making sure to massage my stated problem areas. She was great! The room was set up perfectly, and I was so comfortable. Can't wait to go back!
