I
do
not
recommend
this
place.
We
liked
the
funky
retro
look
so
pulled
over
hopefully,
intending
to
order
dinner.
We
couldn't
tell
if
it
was
open.
The
door
was
propped
open
but
the
place
was
empty
and
dark.
However,
we
asked
and
were
told
to
come
in.
It
was
eerily
quiet.
No
one
was
in
the
building
except
a
man
who
seemed
to
be
the
owner
as
well
as
the
cook
and
a
woman
who
served
us.
The
dynamic
between
the
two
of
them
was...very
odd.
I
don't
know
how
to
describe
it.
I
can
only
say
that
something
was
"off"
about
it,
in
a
concerning
way.
We
immediately
felt
uncomfortable,
and
as
the
place
appeared
to
also
be
rather
dirty
and
ill-kept,
we
decided
to
just
order
dessert
so
the
kids
wouldn't
be
disappointed.
The
menu
had
numerous
dessert
options,
but
they
said
they
didn't
have
anything
we
ordered,
so
eventually
we
ended
up
ordering
fried
dough
and
an
unwanted
slice
of
cake.
While
we
waited
for
the
food,
we
tried
to
play
music
with
the
jukebox
at
our
table.
It
was
sticky
and
gross,
but
we
were
celebrating
my
birthday
and
were
trying
to
make
it
fun
for
the
kids.
The
jukebox
ate
two
quarters,
so
my
son
told
the
man.
He
gave
my
son
a
new
quarter,
came
over
and
lectures
us
about
how
to
use
it,
then
made
a
half-hearted
attempt
to
try
to
make
it
work
for
us,
which
it
never
did.
Since
no
one
was
around,
we
tried
the
one
at
the
table
next
to
us.
That
one
didn't
work
either.
Then
our
food
arrived.
The
fried
dough
was
really,
really
greasy
and
very
burnt.
I
have
never
turned
up
my
nose
at
fried
dough,
but
if
I
had
already
had
dinner
and
hadn't
been
so
hungry,
I
wouldn't
have
eaten
even
a
second
bite.
The
cake
was
obviously
a
store
bought
frozen
cake
that
had
been
thawed
and
sliced
for
customers.
I
am
pretty
sure
it
came
right
from
Stop
and
Shop.
Even
so,
it
was
overly
sweet
and
disgusting
tasting.
We
were
served
water
in
glasses
we
were
not
certain
were
clean.
The
whole
thing
was
pretty
gross.
The
man
seemed
very
upset
we
only
ordered
dessert,
but
was
pretty
nice
to
the
kids
anyway
(which
was
about
the
only
good
thing
to
be
said
about
the
whole
experience).
However,
when
he
asked
how
our
food
was,
something
in
his
tone
made
me
nervous
for
our
server,
so
we
just
told
him
"good."
Then
we
were
given
a
bill
(the
food
was
not
cheap
either!!),
and
even
though
our
table
was
right
in
front
of
the
register,
we
were
told
we
must
go
to
the
register
to
pay,
so
we
stood
up,
did
that,
and
walked
out,
certain
we
would
never
return.
What
a
bizarre
experience!
