This park as a lot of potential it's in a great area it could be as nice as emancipation Park but no security and have to worry about pick pockets but otherwise could be a decent part to bring kids to have picnic or teach to ride bikes or just have fun or even to do some exercise.

There's security guards in the area and they do their job very well. They ensure the schoolers aren't loitering in the park and you definitely can go there and have some quiet time. The park is also very clean and you can utilize the restrooms at a small cost.

Very serene compared to the central downtown scene. Definitely a cool down spot to visit - not to mention fairly clean amenities.

Papine Park it not suited for a leisure/relaxation time with family and friends. Seating is limited. It is primarily used as thoroughfare when walking from one side of the town to another. Persons travelling by public transportation to Mavis Bank may wait there as the buses park in close proximity. Also, some higglers have set up their stalls in the park, hoping to capitalize on persons passing by. It serves the community best in the ways outlined.

This park is a shameful blot on the city of Kingston....on any given day you will experience human fieses and urine on the outskirts of this park, which is not a pleasant sight....if the Government spends better money, proper management and security on this park, it would be a beautiful place...

Very spacious park. It is closed since covid. The park could use a revovation to make it more useful for citizens instead of being a shortcut for pedestrians. You have to pay to use the bathroom which doesnt always have water. Not a space to hang out. I remeber when i was younger, there used to be christmas tree with a santa during christmas, and the waterfalls were on. Now its just run down.

This park is poorly kept the maintenance around the park areas need to go back to the days when Kingston was the cleanest city in the English speaking region of the Caribbean

The bus system is very poor, we need more buses on route to portmore and Spanish town. I had to wait 2 hrs to get a taxi that would take me to portmore mall and then I take another to go home. This inturn cost me $450 instead of $300 on the taxi or $100 on the bus that would have taken me straight home. I prefered to pay more than wait 5 or 6 hrs to get home. It's crazy

Ok it's centrally located. Your entire shopping can be done in downtown Kingston for great prices. The parki is itself beautiful. The downside is pickpockets and robbers. It's a violence prone area being surrounded by garrisons.

Not a place for site seeing really, located in downtown an eye catcher of monumental history, beautiful on the inside but sadly not really kept as a clean area by the town folk and poor reputation for altercations etc. If anything it's a great marker since all the locals know about it.

I visited the St.William Grant Park, Downtown Kingston this morning, New Year Day. The park was immaculately kept, trees, grass flowers were very groomed. Walls were freshly painted. Members of the security force were present. Visitors were well behaved enjoyed the pulsating beats of music hosted by the Mayor and his team, members of the K.S.A.C Poor Relief Department provides breakfast and drinks to the elderly senior citizens, poor and homeless including residents in the surrounding communities. The hosts teams interacting with the guests in a medley of music, songs and dancing 🎶 We all welcome the New Year 2023. The event ends peacefully at midday today and everyone disperse their individual destinations. It was a raving success

Culture! Safe open area great for socializing.... The second place you'll end up, if you grow a pair and venture getting around on city bus instead of taxi, plus you'll save allot of money you'd rather spend on other stuff in Kingston
