Nirvanna is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is extremely tasty I love Indian cuisine and I especially love when it is done right. I reccomend this restaurant to my friends all the time. Needless to say I have been here several times. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food when I go there. I'm always quick to start eating.

Great ambiance, good food and top notch customer service! If it's your first time trying Indian cuisine you should definitely consider going to Nirvanna. The menu is simple and easy to understand. Also, the waiters give suggestions based on your interests. Personally, I recommend the cheese naan and butter chicken (seen pictured below). And the music wasn't overbearing either. Perfect for date nights and family events! I love it there!

Great samosa, papaja salad, excellent mix kebabb platter, top menu and drinks selection, not to forget the very attentive service. Absolutely reccomended.

Good food, beautiful decor, excellent customer service. Prices lean towards the more expensive side. The place itself is small so you can have intimate dining here. You order your dishes (protein, starch, vegetables) separately so bare that in mind. Portions are a bit small for me. The seasoning is different from Jamaican cousine but definitely not bad! Don't order curry and expect the a Jamaican curry. Recommendation: The shrimp noodles dish (don't remember the correct name) Delicious!

Food was alright, the service was very quick. Took about 15 minutes to get our orders (4 persons) . Nice background music, however, our server although polite was not very pleasant. Enjoyed my mango lassi! Overall experience was good not exceptional, I would give them another chance.

The spring rolls were to die for. I also had the garlic cheese naan. it tasted great but was too cheesy for my preference. Their choice of cheese was great too (not cheddar cheese). I had the pork ribs also. It was extremely tender,tasted great and the portion was alot for an appetizer. My entree was the chicken vinadalo(tasted quite bland) and another chicken with curry (that was better). The ambience is just perfect. I love how the seating is. You don't get to see or sit too closely to other customers. Serving was within 15minutes. Prices was better than I expected too. This will be my go to restaurant for me and hubby. 🥺 Overall, it was a great experience.

The service here was A one, thanks to our waiter that was very tentative. The food was so delicious. If you never tried Indian food, this would be the best place to start your journey. The atmosphere was very soothing and romantic with a touch of Moroccan elements. Have to come back another day. Follow on all platforms @jojozgreat.

Great place to chill and eat. Not too big. We forgot to make reservations but was lucky to get a seat for four when we came. If you're into trying new foods you can come here. If you're motto is eat what you know, it's probably not for you. The choices were interesting and exciting. The service was great. The bathrooms were clean. So, though the food choices were interesting, can't say it tasted the best. I just pick and chose my way through. But it was a nice change. They have mostly Indian foods with some Chinese options.

Honestly what can I say....I know, try the Butter Chicken, try the garlic naan, try the chicken in szechuan sauce, food perfect, service excellent, would I go back, yes!!

Nirvana is by far the best restaurants that serves Indian cuisine in Kingston, and overall one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Wonderful experience, Wonderful atmosphere, Wonderful service , Great people. Just an over all good time, I will be going back. The food was great even if you don't know what to pick there is bound to be something that will knock your socks off. Though it's a safe pick I would recommend the garlic cheese naan😋

I absoutely love Indian cuisine. Nirvanna is definitely a go to place when I am feeling for Indian food. I love the decor and the menu offers alot of options. The service is also usually good.

The restaurant was nicely designed.. food was a work of art.. menu was hard to choose from though; too many new food in my case. However, what I managed to order was delicious.

Areas to improve on. Allow the staff who give good customer service to be tipped by the customer. Stop looking over the staff with Eagle eyes, they are human beings that need to earn, just like owner earns? The menu could also do with a uplift with options around lamb dishes. The wine menu needs to be cleaned, It's sticky on all the pages. The owners attaured needs to be mirrored my the duty manager and the staff. Quick service, welcoming on entry. And awareness of clients moods.

It's always a good place to just go to have a good Asian cuisine with good service. I'd say, give it a go.

I’m not sure Indian food is for me but we gave it a try. The atmosphere was nice and comfy. Somewhat dated but nothing you can’t live with. The service however was a bit on the strong side which was not to my liking. Something as simple as a group of 4 order 2 serving of spring rolls the waiter insist one serving would be enough to share and if we hadn’t stood our ground,🙄just view the picture for reference. Butter chicken was good but weird because the cuts of the meat made it awkward seemed almost like scraps of chicken. The tikamasala is for someone the likes fishy fried rice with cinnamon. Can’t remember the name of the last entree waiter explained it as the spicy equivalent to the butter chicken point is it was soso. THE BREAD!!! If you want a good pita this is it. Chef kiss. Almost sing I love bread. Over all the experience was something, trust mi.

Food was really flavorful and came nice and hot. The appetizers are definitely a must especially if you are hungry bc the main courses take awhile to come out. The menu has a lot of options so it might take some time to decide. The waitress that brought our food out had not a clue on what she was dropping off to the table. The staff might need to ask the kitchen staff what they are delivering or they need to sample all the dishes in order to know.

My spouse and I had a great time. The service was impeccable. Server was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. The garlic cheese naan was to die for. Would return!

Service here is always great. Everyone runs around to ensure everything runs smoothly and your experience is a good one. The food is never delayed always expedited and apps never arrive with the main course like a lot of restaurants like to do. Everything is well paced and properly prepared. My one issue has to be with the no tipping policy. Very weird, but I'm sure they have a reason.

We visited Nirvanna as a group of 5 visiting from the US and Canada. Two guests in our party ordered a Mango Lassi, it wasn’t yellow like a Mango and was on the verge of being spoiled. When reported to the waiter he was fearful to tell the manager and asked us to tell him. When we did he said it was made that morning and that the chef said it was ok and he wouldn’t remove it. NO, WRONG.. When I received my bill the cheater added $1,040 in service and bar fees, I had no cocktail, and was charged full price of the only beverage we ordered a Ting soda and he called it tax. I called him out on principal alone, the money is never the issue he tried to explain math away it still didn’t compute More importantly I wanted to stand up for his employees, he came to Jamaica to join the community and should show some gratitude and empower them to feel safe and valued at their place of employment. I tipped the waiter more than the 8905.61 check again not because of the money, so he could feel appreciated for his efforts. The food was mediocre, no spice, no fusion… No Stars if I could.

This was a very nice experience for me and my family. We liked it here and would definitely visit here again. I dined in some time ago but forgot to post the review, I digress... The only reason I gave a two is because the appetizers that we got were absolutely delicious. That's where the positivity ends. When my sister and I entered the restaurant and my fiance we were sat by the young waitress in plush seating. She then looked like she was scolded by the manager for seating us there. I'm familiar with Indian cuisine as I am from Southeast Florida where we have a lot of Indian food. I ordered for my fiance and my sister and I also ordered drinks. The drinks were incorrect not made in the right glassware and the ingredients were off. I explained this to the waitress and she spoke to her manager. The manager then scolded her again and kept staring at our table the remainder of our time there. Specifically at my fiance who is much darker in skin tone. Which I was utterly appalled at. He would walk by our table multiple times, look at the window walk back and do this about 5 or 6 times. The stairs were so intense that we decided we no longer wanted to dine there so we paid and left. I felt very uncomfortable at the fact that he was so rude to his employee and also that obviously she has no training, and mainly felt disgusted at how much he kept staring us down to the point where we felt we had to leave. This is unacceptable and the team needs to be trained more to treat persons in a better manner and if a patron does not like how something is made it should be remade without issue. As I said, food was very good but I will never step foot in the establishment again and I will never suggest it to any of my guests.

It was SLAMMED!! I took my mother to celebrate Mother's Day. We stood at the host's station for over 30 mins before anyone came to see us, only to be told they wouldn't be seating walk-ins anymore. We ended up ordering to-go. It was our first time trying authentic Indian food and it was good. I had Chicken Tikka Masala, which I liked. The samosas I ordered for the appetizer I didn't like so much. I would go back just so that I can have the full experience.

Staff was super friendly and courteous. The setting is very intimate great for a date or small group. The food is definitely a 10/10 in terms of quality and quantity and it didn't take long to get the food either. I will definitely be returning

Been to Nirvana 3 times now, twice with my wife and once for an extended family dinner. I must say, as a vegetarian, I'm always happy with my meals there. The staff always make you feel welcomed. They're very helpful as well. As a Jamaican tho, keep in mind that the food isn't 'Jamaican' it's an Indian restaurant so my wife and mom always forget this and get things they thought would taste a specific way but was disappointed.

Been here so many times to dine and for take out. The ambiance is great! The servers are always top tier. I don’t know where they find these nice servers but they certainly know their jobs. The food is always amazing always. I love this restaurant

Not my first time here, but probably the last. Three of us got hungry and agreed on Indian Food. So, as I had been here before, it was an easy recommendation. One that I now regret. The food was generally good or better, except for a dish that was recommended as "Roast Chicken". Over-cooked, dry chicken with a deep red-to-black color was served. Not sure about the seasoning used, but none of us liked it; but that can happen. The reason for not visiting again is the way in which the tip was solicited. It left a bad taste in our mouth and seeing money being slipped into a shirt-sleeve is not pleasant.

Very bad service! The restaurant is working till 21.00 but at 20.00 the kitchen was closed and they didn't even serve tea. At 20.20 they have turn off the music and started to clean up! I came there to spend my birthday, but was very disappointed about service and food. Everything was very spicy (we asked to make it not spicy), I didn't like the cocktails also. When we told the manager that food is spicy, he told us that it's not spicy. At the end they offered us icecream as a sorry, but it was all very disappointed.

Singing *nirvana Oh na na, half of my heart is in nirvana Oh Na na.* Yes, that is exactly how I feel after visiting Nirvana last night! It is often said that a restaurant's decor sets the stage for the audience/customers and boy did I feel like performing, in the act of eating that is😀. It was subtle, yet striking with impressive chandeliers, lighting and artwork that created an intimate ambience. The food and efficient service later took the spotlight though, and we later became an eager audience. It was three of us and we each ordered an appetizer, but there's something about the way they were served - it was one immeditately after the other that got us super excited. As we finished with our mouth watering cheese nan, here came the delectable spring rolls served with a complementary sauce that left us wanting more. Now it is very important to note this next experience. We ordered the chicken lollipop but there was too much batter so we did not eat much of it. By the time we got our main course, the restaurant manager, I believe, came to us to get our review of the aforementioned lollipops ( bear in mind we made no complaints about it). We advised him of what the issue was, and he immediately committed to having a conversation with the chef to make improvements; Not only that, but he also waived the charge for these appetizers. Listen, I got goose bumps because I was so impressed with the service - not only was it efficient, but attentive. Here's a helpful tip that I also learnt; each item may seem a bit pricey so when going in groups you can each order an appetizer as well as one or two sides along with your entree or protein. Rest assured that once you share these meals, you would have had a reasonably priced, tasty and fulfilling meal. Overall, I definitely give them a well deserved 5 and I really can't wait to go back. Nirvana, thank you so much for a lovely evening.

I order today and I was unhappy. 1 the portions of nan and meat dishes were small for the price. I also saw tiny black spice bugs in my curry boat. I was not happy. I spent over$8400 JMD, plus $600 for delivery. When I got home and started sharing for my family and eating and saw the tiny bugs. Never again, ever again.

I had the most Amazing time on my birthday there it was a surprise treat. And i couldnt have chosen a better place .. the food and Service was exceptional Quality and Class evident in everything they do... and you are treated like the best of the best no matter who you are. Don't know if its because of the pandemic but the food was very small in quantity..the environment and the taste was great the wait time for food was short however we left the restaurant hungry.

Amazing Indian food in amazing foreign land. I keep getting surprised in my search of good quality food, this place serves more authentic food then any indian resturant in india I have been to. The taste, food choices, their menu, the ambience and the service; undoubtedly will make you feel to come back again and again if you are in Kingston city, while there are other options but this place stands out in all respect, good job and keep up the good quality of food and service.

Good Lord the wonton soup was unlike anything I have ever had before, the ribs were magnificent, all the food was delicious. The service was a let down but I hope it was just a one off thing

What don't I love about Nirvanna, I mostly take out but whether you dine or take out the meal is always up to snuff and food is always ready on time. I think the prices are reasonable and the portions rival that of Chinese restaurants. If you love butter chicken, the tikka masala will tickle your fancy too. The spinach chicken isn't bad either, but I stick to what I know. Try a cheese or corona proof with a cheese and GARLIC naan add a mango lassi and kick back. Did I say I love Nirvanna. Best Indian food restaurant followed by Saffron and Pushpa's (most cost effective)

Great food, and AMAZING service. All staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the owner especially was incredibly accommodating. I had a number of food allergies and he made a point of making me specific dishes that were totally safe for me to eat, including an appetizer I hadn't even requested so I didn't feel "left out" while the rest of the table ate theirs. Couldn't recommend more! Great vibes.

We were warmly greeted my Amanda who took care of our group in the most wonderful manner. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
