Firstly the hospitality was great, something I look for and greatly appreciate wherever I am spending my money. The food was excellent, the wait staff is competent and professional and the price didn’t break the bank. Warm atmosphere love the vibe, the music definitely isn’t too loud (obstructing casual conversation), but was audible enough to be entertaining. The only thing that didn’t earn them the fifth star is the fact that the word “smokehouse” is on their name, but my nostrils did not get the satisfaction of smelling pork or whatever else smoking on some smokers in the back 🤷🏽‍♀️ I was expecting my ribs to have that really rich smoked flavour. Though that was lacking I still enjoyed the food and my time spent there. Give it a try ❤️

The layout and ambiance of this place is awesome. Lots of parking space. Numerous areas around the grounds to take pics with the logo as backdrop including a specialized bench. Staff is nice and courteous. The food is awesoooome and the wait time is reasonable. Bathroom facilities are also really good and clean. I would recommend this place with no reservations.

Was a good experience over all. Great for date night and family dinner or lunch. Food was good. The live music set the tone for the evening... It is better to go in the early evening when the sun is still up to take pics on location. We had to wait a while to do so... and when it was our turn, the people who were there very impatient. The service could have been a little better. Took a long while for food to be served and to be served the bill afterwards. But it was packed that night so i could understand.

The food was great but the wait time was a bit long. The vibe was good too. I ordered the smoked lobster and a side of jerk pork, with a Bob Marley frozen drink (amazing). My husband ordered the oxtails w/ rice & peas and the island twist. We'll be back.

I recommend the jerk pork/chicken here. Has a really nice smokey flavor. Won't go wrong with either of those picks. Not a fan of the ribs. Chicken nuggets are pretty good I tried one even though they were for my kid. Made with better quality chicken then you will get at fast food places

I usually don't comment on dining experiences but this I had to do. I made a reservation a couple days prior by telephone and requested a table set up for my sister's birthday on Saturday, June 11th. When we arrived no table was reserved, nothing was set up and decorated...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. When I enquired as to why nothing was done I was told that the person who takes reservation is not there and the staff were busy this morning...(How is that the customer's problem?). The Server we got needs training. She had ABSOLUTELY NO customer service skills and her attitude was poor. She didn't even attempt to make the experience worthwhile or compensate for their error by even offering a slice of birthday cake and sing for my sister...nothing! The food? TASTELESS...no seasoning, no flavour whatsoever. I would have done better and I am not a chef. Upon leaving I requested a Supervisor to share my experience and even her needs training as to how to compensate and restore a relationship with an unsatisfied customer. She did nothing but whispered under her breath..." I'm sorry". This was our first time here and definitely the last.

Upon entering the property my thought was wow easy to find, great sign from the road. Huge parking with EV charging for electric cars. The visual and atmosphere sensory was great. I loved what I could of visually see from the parking lot to my table. Upon entering the establishment there was a young standing out side of the bar I told her it’s our first time here Whats the process for dining. She look at me like I was crazy. Then tell us to just go over there and point to the seating area. So I continue to ask what’s those different areas I’m looking at for, Please explain to me as if I’m a kid and it my first time here that’s when she decided to do just so and then past us off to Bridget. Both Bridget and our Tall waitress is the reason I decided not to give this restaurant a 1 star. They were both informative, helpful and went above and beyond especially for my nieces which is 5 years old. So I just this restaurant is kids friendly to a extent. We were a party of 5 and order from the local side of the menu because its the under 30 minutes side of the menu. The Curry goat was a bowl of Bone and slush. The jerk chicken tasted possibly of charcoal cook but just salt and black pepper rubbed. Mash and Mac n cheese was the stars of the table for its Taste and presentation. The American side of the menu look and sounds good but it the local experience and taste I was looking for. Which was disappointing. To compare the jerk chicken taste, Island grill would have been much better taste and flavor wise.

I visited Plantation while in Jamaica recently. I enjoyed my meal especially the mac and cheese. The customer service was amazing and the drinks out of this world. We were celebrating our Anniversary. I absolutely loved the layout of the resturant as well. It was a great experience. Thank you.

The experience was amazing. My family and I had a yummy time😋😋😋😋.. Weekends are very busy so we dine there on a early Tuesday night. Waiting hours was fairly good 👍

Plantation Smokehouse was good. We had to wait a little while as one waitress messed up our order but this waiter came in and saved the day. His customer service was excellent and he ensured we were well taken care of plus more... he was great ...the food was good as well 😋 😌.... Be mindful tho that prices u see exclude gct.... The view was lovely .. I loved the fact that the have different areas for seating with varying backgrounds so you can choose where suits you and your party best.. Overall it was a good experience n I really liked it

This is a great place to go for drinks, live music on the weekend. I would rate the food a B. The service is great. If you are a tourist you should definitely hit this spot! You will love it!

Food was fantastic. Service totally amazing!! We had "Rambo" as a server, and he was great! (I have seen some comments saying food takes so long, Rambo told us right up certain dishes will take longer.) We didn't order any long prep time food. Atmosphere was nice. (Tuesday night) Apparently weekends are packed. Bathrooms where clean and well looked after

We had a great time dining here. The ambiance was nice. The food was good, our server was great. I can't remember his name, but he is tall and slim. He made sure everything was to our liking. We went on a Thursday afternoon, so the food came pretty quickly as it wasn't that busy. The bathrooms were also very clean. I will return when I'm in the area.

The food was okay, the chicken and pork need a signature sauce to go with the smoke flavor. The smoke flavor is very good and the food is well seasoned. I ordered takeout, the lady at the cash could have been more welcoming. The gentleman that actually handed us the food was very rude, even though I was giving back a side order that I did not order or pay for. I engaged a chef named Marva while waiting, very nice and pleasant. She really represented the restaurant, and gave the best first impression, although she did not directly serve us. The restaurant on a whole was very nice, although it is under a partial renovation. A seating area for takeout customers would have been nice. I may consider going back for a second try.

The space is utilized well, covid-19 protocols are adhere to and the no wall vibe entertains a lot of breeze which is awesome. The staff is very polite and friendly and the food is great. I had to take home mine as I couldn't finish it and I usually clean my plate in one go. The lighting for photography is great once the sun is out or your phone night mode is top-tier. Parking space seems limited but outside of that, it's a vibe

Our party of six went on a Friday night. That's when they have the live band. The music was great. To say the house was packed would be an understatement. The service was still excellent. The hostess who seated us was very pleasant (sorry I didn't get her name). Our server, Krishna was awesome. My only issue was the serving size...I would've taken more on my plate 😋😊. That aside, we had a great time. Thanks to everyone at Plantation Smokehouse for making our visit well worth the trip.

Started a bit rocky by feeling ignored by the waitress but took my butt over to the bar where I had the best service! I got my food so quick and the server/bartender was the best, attentive

The pork was absolutely delicious. Wish I had gotten to try the alcoholic drinks but unfortunately I was a driver for the night. The potatoes were a bit too dry for my liking but overall the experience was pleasant

One of my absolute favourite places to go to in Ochi! Food is always delicious and the vibe is nice and consistent. Brought the family for the live band and everyone both young & old enjoyed. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a restaurant that left much to be desired. The the atmosphere and service were average, and the food fell miserably short of expectations. Allow me to share my disheartening encounter with the culinary disaster that unfolded before me. First and foremost, the drinks were great but I ordered oxtail empanadas which where dry and flavorless. Let's address the centerpiece of the meal - the lobster. To my dismay, the lobster arrived at my table with a charred exterior that was reminiscent of a long-forgotten campfire. It was as if the chef had forgotten about it entirely, leaving it to sizzle away to a sorry state. To make matters worse, there was no butter as advertised on the menu to accompany this culinary catastrophe. A lobster without butter is like a ship without a sail - utterly pointless and void of any joy. The accompanying side dish of steamed vegetables was equally disappointing. With each bite, I felt as though I was gnawing on rubber bands. The vegetables were undercooked to the point of surrendering any semblance of texture or flavor. It was a sad testament to what should have been a vibrant and nutritious accompaniment to the main course. However, amidst this sea of disappointment, there was one saving grace - the mac and cheese. Creamy, cheesy, and bursting with flavor, it was a delightful surprise amidst the culinary chaos. The mac and cheese provided a much-needed glimmer of hope, reminding me that not all was lost. But alas, even the mac and cheese could not redeem the restaurant's missteps. To add insult to injury, they served a cold steak alongside the already overcooked lobster as a replacement. It left me wondering if the kitchen staff had completely abandoned the concept of time and temperature control. The steak, a mere afterthought, was a cruel reminder of the mishandling of the entire dining experience. While the atmosphere and service were average, it is with a heavy heart that I declare I will not be returning to this establishment. The burnt lobster, tough steamed vegetables, and cold steak were simply unforgivable offenses. It is my hope that the restaurant takes note of these shortcomings and makes the necessary improvements to provide a memorable dining experience worthy of its ambiance and service. In the end, I implore fellow diners to exercise caution when considering this establishment. It may lure you in with its pleasant surroundings and attentive staff, but the tasteless and poorly executed dishes will leave you longing for more - more flavor, more attention to detail, and most importantly, more value for your hard-earned money.

My first time dining and I was impressed. The ambiance was pretty good. The food did not disappoint at all. Most noteworthy to mention though was the service. Our server Carl was absolutely amazing. His energy and thoroughness made the experience one to remember. I will definitely return. Oh and the curry goat..🤌

Food was excellent! Braised oxtail, Mac and cheese, peas and rice was so good. Maybe a little more seasoning on the Mac and cheese, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't fix. The oxtail were tender and the gravy tasted so good over the peas and rice. Prices were very reasonable!

Overalll was a good experience, great music, they had a live band. Had oxtail and goat, was OK. Waitress was nice, our initial server wouldnt give us an extra table, We were 13 of us all crammed together, she said it was going to be a busy night. Impossible to really enjoy the meal when you can't move your arms, so a few of us eventually grabbed another table when we were eating so our plates woulld actually fit on the table. Put a damper on the mode for a bit but we didnt let it bother us. Overall good.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The food was excellent, the live band and artistes gave rousing performances, lots of parking, good seating. Good fun, family atmosphere.

Had a great time in St. Ann and was about to head back to Kingston, but man were we hungry. We asked around for suggestions and ended up here... There were no regrets. First off.... Let me tell you about the staff.... Giovanni(oh) with him baby powder smelling self. He was was just so pleasant. Had to give him a shout out n the sexy 1 Brigette (hope that's the spelling). Yeh man.... They had the place feeling comfy...... Don't know the name of the dark 1 that was whining him likkle bottom to some African music, but I was entertained n I only went for food. As for the food.... It was great.... I dived into the wings n forgot the pic until after the fact. You'll see the suck off bone in the picture. 😆 The lemon pepper wings was a tad bit salty, but still delish. I'd definitely go back..... It's a whole vibes.

Upon entering we had to seat ourselves, however the waitress was nice enough to attend to us quickly. After moving a couple of times, we were seated properly. The wait time for food was a bit long and no one came to take our drink orders. The man serving us for the night was apologetic and made up for this. The lamb chops were nice, but really fatty, the mash potatoes and fries needed seasoning and left a lot to be desired. The rest of our party enjoyed most of their meal. The curry goat needs work. The ambience and overall setting is lovely but pick a good time to go.

Love the ambiance and the location. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing professionals and gave an awesome service. However, the iconic picture spot needs proper lighting for late dinners. 😀

I’ve never had a worse experience than coming here. Upon arrival I was told by the hostess that I didn’t make a reservation the “correct” way as if I was instructed otherwise. So according to her I didn’t make a reservation and after asking her to see the reservation listing my name was right there in front of her. She then changed her words to say that my seat was occupied with a group that had showed up a while earlier. I had a party of 13, so you can imagine the frustration having to wait over 30 minutes to get our seating that we reserved in advance. During my time here, on 3 occasions, I asked 3 different working employees to see a manager. To which, 1 laughed and the other 2 said to me ‘ there’s no manager here and i’m the closet and next best thing to a manager’. Apparently the hostess and the waitress saw themselves as supervisors only after I asked if they were. After 2 hours of waiting our food finally began to arrive & this is what they put on one of my plates? At least I can say the server we had was a lovely lady. This was extremely disappointing.

The Ambiance was everything. We went there on a friday afternoon, there was a live band which was very entertaining. The food took a while however it was good. A bit pricey for the portion sizes. Overall i would give it a 8 outta 10. Would visit again.

Lovely location, nicely placed tables indoor and outdoor. Great for large family or groups and most of all the food is Delicious! Try the BBQ Pork Rib

Great food,great ambiance. Our sever was excellent and accomdating. Didn't have a long wait for our food. Our steak, oxtail and curry goat was excellent. Will be back.

There was ample parking, the place was clean and nicely arranged. The staff were friendly and attentive. Each server checked on you even if they were not your direct server. We were severed by Keisha and she was awesome. Location comes highly recommended 👌

Food is seasoned to the bone and tastes really good. The mojitos are fantastic - smooth, tasty and very strong. The jerk is very spicy though, so be ready.

Really nice, beautiful layout. You could either eat in or take out. The food layout when shared is really classy and the customer service was excellent. The food was also good.

wow.... did take out as the place was full however the food was just great. Ordered jerk pork, jerk corn and festivals. it was soooooo delicious. The spices and the sauce was so good. added that extra touch to the meal. Highly recommend for all. the service was good to and the staff were very welcoming :)

Finally had the opportunity to stop for Lunch and it did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu choices were excellent, staff was pleasant and the service was excellent. I hope to check out the live music one Friday. Will definitely return, hopefully for dinner when the curfew restrictions are behind us .
