Honestly I don't think this place is a place for the customer service reps to be walking up and down with baby and hushing them while failing to take customer's time into consideration.

I discovered this hardware store in my way out to St. Thomas. They arr opened everyday including Sunday. It has everything you need for construction, repairs or home improvement. The prices are very competitive. Delivery cost is quite reasonable. The best part of this establishment is the staff and the service they offer. Thumbs up to Ms. Beckford, Mellisa and the driver. Will keep coming

I have been purchasing building materials form Homes General since 2018. It is a convenient one stop shop once you have left Kingston heading to St. Thomas. I think management weighs in on this fact and as such takes customers for granted. Recently I asked them for the price for some BRC wires. It sounded a bit high so I decided to shop around. I found the item at a cheaper cost at a smaller establishment in Kingston. When I calculated the cost of the item including transportation, the small store in Kingston worked out far cheaper. In a bid to remain loyal to Homes General, I mentioned this to the supervisor. He said he couldn't do anything about the price. Off course you know where I bought my BRC. So why do I keep supporting Homes General, you may ask? The WONDERFUL STAFF!!! Ms. Beckford, Desrene, the drivers, the sidemen, the young lady in the paint section. THEY are the ones who keep me going. They value my business. They do all they can to deliver materials in a timely manner. I hope management will one day realize this fact and learn to appreciate customers. One hand wash the other and we have options.
