This
was
my
first
time
attending
an
event
at
Caymanas
Park.
Based
on
the
stigma
from
I
was
a
child
who
was
brought
up
in
a
Christian
home;
I
was
told
that
this
place
is
forbidden
and
a
gambling
house.
When
I
attended
the
Superstakes
Race
Day
Event
sponsored
by
the
company
I
work
with;
entering
the
compound
for
the
first
time,
to
my
surprise
it
turned
out
to
be
fun.
People
were
actually
enjoying
themselves
and
I
did
too.
A
first
time
experience
for
me
turned
out
to
be
a
day
filled
with
laughter,
fun,
meeting
new
people
and
basically
understanding
that
horse
racing
is
really
a
sport.
For
me,
this
is
a
place
where
Trainers
who
spend
alot
of
money
grooming
these
horses
and
Jockeys,
ask
the
public
to
support
them
by
a
betting
venture
which
can
or
may
result
in
them
receiving
a
financial
gain
on
what
they
have
placed
their
bets
on;
however,
this
can
also
result
in
the
loss
of
money
that
persons
have
placed
on
these
bets,
as
it
depends
on
the
results
after
the
race
has
ended
and
how
those
bets
were
placed.
This
betting
venture
can
turn
out
to
be
positive
or
negative
depending
on
how
far
an
individual
is
willing
to
go;
just
as
anything
too
much
of
one
thing
can
become
addictive
and
cause
problems
for
some;
but
if
taken
in
moderation,
for
fun
and
adventure
then
it
can
be
just
that.
I
too
joined
in
on
the
fun
by
learning
how
to
place
bets
and
the
meaning
of
the
different
placements
based
on
a
ticket
purchase.
This
is
an
experience
that
I
will
never
forget.
Ask
the
question;
if
I
would
attend
another
event
at
this
location?
My
answer
would
be
yes,
because
I
have
to
admit
that
I
had
a
wonderful
and
funfilled
day.
