Nice Cricket Ground. Good Facilities for players. History of Ground- Sabina Park was originally a Pen (urban residence and adjoining land of a wealthy merchant, shopkeeper or professional),part of which was eventually sold to the Kingston Cricket Club for their grounds. The entire Estate was 30 acres. The Great House at Sabina Park Pen was named Rosemount. Facilities at Ground- The members pavilion lies square of the wicket on the west side. The Blue Mountains form a backdrop to the north, facing the George Headley Stand, with Kingston Harbour to the south. This view is currently blocked by the Northern Stand, built as part of the ground's redevelopment for the 2007 Cricket World Cup

This is one of the best Cricket venue in the West Indies. Several great and historical matches have been played at this venue. It's a great place.

Home cricket ground for Kingston and the West Indies. My husband loved being here. An amazing stadium. I love stadiums and although not a cricket fan myself I did love looking around.

Sabina Park is an international cricket stadium and one of the better in the West Indies / Caribbean Sabina Park is partly owned by the KCC and partly by theJamaica Cricket Association. The stadium is looked after by a company called Sabina Park Holdings. There are four major stands in the ground now including the world famous is the George Headley stand. The total capacity of the stadium is over16,000

Great party atmosphere. Love or hate cricket you can have a great time. It was like a mini dembigh, with other franchises aligning themselves to the cricket. The bathrooms were kept well. I only wish the parking and the organizing around which gates to go through to be improved. Overall had a great time and would encourage anyone to come. Aslo, one more thing. The TV screen should be bigger so that everyone across the grounds can see what's happening.

The Sabina Park cricket stadium has the reputation to have one of the fastest and hardest pitches in the cricket world. It is the home of Kingston Cricket Club and the only stadium in Jamaica. Sabina Park started hosting Test matches with the reputation of being a nightmare for the batsmen and an open feast for the fast bowlers. Of late, the reputation has received severe knockings against rumours that the pitch has slowed down. Famous for its crowd who perpetually seem to be in a festive mood and rising to the calypso tune, the smoke from the numerous barbeques dances to the sky; local beer and music impart a new rhythm to the bodies. The atmosphere in the outfield faces a severe challenge from the electric atmosphere in the stands. The backdrop of Sabina Park is filled by the magnificent Blue Mountains, whose enigma has, to a certain extent, permeated into Sabina Park as well. The ground can accommodate a little over 13,000 spectators. One instance when Sabina Park seemed to have set aside their usual preoccupations and actually followed the proceedings of the match was in 1958 when Sir Garfield Sobers scored a record 365 not out against Pakistan. Established: 1930 Capacity: 20,000 Floodlights: No Ends: Blue Mountains End, Headley Stand End Home Team: Jamaica Test History: 49 Tests; 23 home wins; 12 away wins; 14 draws Last 10 Tests: 3 home wins; 6 away wins, 1 Draw Last 10 tosses: 9 batted first (5 wins, 3 defeats, 1 Draw); 1 bowled first (1 defeat) Overview Situated in a somewhat suburban part of Jamaica’s capital Kingston, Sabina Park has a rich history and a mean reputation to match the island’s tough capital. Its location in the city’s driest microclimate resulted in the hardest and fastest surface in the Caribbean for many years, making it a fearsome place for visiting sides facing up to unrelenting Windies quicks. But the pitch has slowed in recent times, and attempts to reverse the trend through re-laying the wicket have for the most part proved fruitless.

Security guard is so jovial and loving Workers are extremely friendly. Not to mention the different facilities are clean and useable. And the athletes and the coaches must comment them because it is not easy to remain consistent training and all on the sun..

I last visited on August 14, 2022. I sat in the section for the Kingston Cricket Club and I enjoyed it for the most part. The service was great but I do have just two pointers… The first is the bathroom. It’s appalling. So much so, I’d much rather hold it than go. The other issue is more so for the entire facility. The screen can’t really be read clearly; the one that has its back to south camp road that is. I’m sure patrons would appreciate being able to follow the runs and overs on the larger screen. Great vibe. Great people. Lovely game.

Always a 10/10 experience at Sabina. Clean, with easily accessible restrooms for both able and wheelchair bodies. Prestine playing surface and just an overall great experience.

Nice venue for sporting activities such as football but is actually a cricket pitch. Parking can be limited during a big match but a nice experience.

Spacious. Can facilitate large outdoor events. Request access to stadium lights otherwise can be very dark if event is being held in the night.

Went to a Football Match...My favorite location for watching football. Although you're in the stands it feels like you're watching from the reserve bench. Please note Sabina Park is actually a famous cricket ground.

Sabina Park is an important part of not only the Jamaican society, but the life of the people of the Caribbean. It hosts the one thing that unites Caribbean people - cricket. I wish that they would have taken into account people with physical disabilities when the construction took place. Hopefully, some adjustments can take place.

Aside from the obvious (WI stressed me out), I enjoyed the refreshing feeling of being able to be out.

Parking for patrons using the venue is not available if your not giving in to being hustled by people from neighbouring communities. Operators of the venue disregard the safety of your property and openly advise you to support the hustlers if you want your vehicle to be there. The bathroom facilities were adequate but in these unprecedented times, I was taken a back that I wasn't able to wash my hands after using the washroom.
