HORRIBLE is an understatement! It took a us about 1.5 hours to get to the park. This excursion costs $160 per person and we were not allowed to take pictures of the excursion we paid for. No one was allowed to take their bag with them. They told us we could put belongings in a locker or leave our belongings on a bus. They don’t force you to buy the insurance but do tell you if it breaks down you are responsible for the cost to replace or fix it. When we got in our buggy the check engine light was on and the buggy in front of us had the check engine light on, too. The excursion came with lunch. Two pieces of dried chicken and a dumpling. We had to buy our own can drink for $3 each. The excursion advertised a 980 acre farm with a dune buggy ride filled with beauty. WRONG! The entire ride was a loop that lasted about 35 minutes. Let’s do a little tally to see what this disaster costs us. $160x2=$320 + $10 locker fee + 10 insurance fee + $6 drinks = $346 not to bad for 35 minutes. I almost forgot to mention the helmets. As soon as they put my helmet on the smell was unreal! Our helmets were soaking wet with…SWEAT!! The helmets were drenched in someone else’s sweat! We booked this excursion through Royal Caribbean. If I could give it a 0 I would. I posted the only photo I could take from the outside.

I did the ATVs and the bird sanctuary at Yaaman. This was included with the package to Dunns Rivers Falls. I enjoyed myself. The food was good. The bathroom gave Third World country vibes. They have photographers on site to take pictures that you could download or receive printed out copies. I think it was about $180 per person for the day including transportation. The reservation was made at the concierge booth at the hotel. I’m almost sure the reservation had to be made 24 hours in advance

1st off, this review is 8 months late. We visited in December 2019. My daughter and I had an INCREDIBLE time. I didn't male any reservations ahead so we were just walk ins for her birthday and they accommodated us very warmly. Funny enough it was very slow that day so we got the private VIP experience of having the resort to ourselves. We did all the attractions with the exception of riding the camels because they were already locked away because they had no more reservations🙄... Anyways, enough about my lack of preparation. I ended up tipping everyone we came in contact with because they were just that great. I recommend this place to EVERYONE I come across. One Love🖤💛💚

Business is not done based on EMOTIONS! My experience was not good at all. Yaaman acts as though customers aren't entitled to their opinion on the service they provide and cannot handle criticism. I was highly dissatisfied and stated same on their social media page and they blocked me. In my views, Locals aren't treated the same as foreigners and that is very sad! Reservation for this park makes no sense. I made reservations weeks in advance and clearly stated that someone in my party doesn't eat meat and they started that x will be served. When it was time for lunch, we were advised that they only only have chicken and they were not made aware of same. I was given 10/11 am booking and I changed to 12:30 pm and this was not noted. After the muggy experience, there was no water. We had to wait awhile for the back up to come on for us to shower. I could go and on but it took me posting on their social media page to even be addressed any at all.

I visited September 24,2021.Twelve of us including myself from work went to this attraction. As locals I realize that we are treated like we're nobody. The only courtesy we received was from the guys who took us on the ATV and the young man who carried us to the river. I must however give special recommendations to Donavon the tour guide. I was both entertained and educated all at once and he's such a pleasant person. I can't say much about that guy in the photograph section who had us go through the pics and choose what we wanted, he was very rude from the very first hour we arrived. Yaaman adventure park has alot of potential but the staff needs to be thought what great customer service is whether visitors are local of international we should all be treated with the same great courtesy and respect.

There were 7 in our party. The tour sales person told us to take cameras, phones and clothes that could get wet due to a river crossing. You can’t take anything that can take a picture at all and lockers are $10 or leave it on the bus. Three of us signed up for the zip line and buggy tours and 4 for the buggys only. We bought the photo package ahead of time for a discounted rate (only valid right now scam). The buggy’s are horribly maintained with one unable to lock the drivers seat in, one pumping out black smoke and had to be moved to the back if the line so we could breathe, and the steering was dangerously loose on all of them. The trail was short so we just made the same loop a few times. No sights to see at all and only a small mud puddle that we went through twice. The camera person didn’t get a single photo of us on the buggys and faked a few on the ATVs (which we did not ride) at the end. Lunch was decent but no drinks are provided, not even water. You can pay for them of course but your things are locked on the bus! The zip lines were good, but the water feature is a cement tub in the woods that you can land in. We have the exact photo (hanging from the zip line) for less than half of our group. We were refunded half our photo money which was still too much to pay! Worst tour I have ever been on, but our bus drive Marlon was fantastic!

If you are an adventurous person then this is the place for you... honestly we were hesitant in staying on property as we had our 3 year old and thought there was nothing for him to do... haha! We were wrong. Firstly, all staff on board were amazing! Customer service at its best I'm telling you. My baby got the opportunity to feed the birds at the bird avery in which he enjoyed doing... swimming at the secret river was also a blast for him... as for us adults we did the mud buggy which was superb... listen!!! after that we went to the river and because I came for an adventure I jumped off the rock into the 10ft deep water which was amazing... would definitely go back!!!

Stopped here as a shore excursion during a cruise back in February, right before COVID. We wanted to ride the camels. We also got to feed some birds, took a wagon tour, got some great local guide displays and info and tried some fresh coconut. Unfortunately our camel was a little uncooperative that day, so we didn’t get the full tour around their normal route, but we did get a nice ride anyway. And the camel trainer and handler was very friendly. The whole experience was pretty fun and a great way to spend part of the day. They also have a lot of other activities we didn’t try, but looked like a lot of fun. The only knock is the professional photo from our camel ride wasn’t the greatest quality, it was a bit oddly crunched and disproportionate, and was pretty expensive considering.

We were looking forward to this excursion. The ATVs were in good condition, the guides were not overly controlling, there seemed to be decent trails, but our ride only lasted 25 minutes. They even boasted of 900 acres of land. We paid $99 for lunch and a 25 minute ride. I’d have to say of four excursions, our group liked this one the least, primarily due to the short duration.

Buggy tour was amazing!!! Secret River was fantastic!! Lunch was awful! Not a fan of spicy! But the dogs on the property sure enjoyed the meal I shared with them 😁 Paid for pictures, but they never took any at the river. So basically paid $55 just for buggy pictures, which was disappointing.

We went and tried to book in person but was advised to book online. We booked online and returned for our appointment. We waited approximately one hour and fifteen minutes for the appointment. No cameras or phone allowed while riding. Pretty much you're forced to buy a picture to capture your experience. The first ATV I rode for demonstration had no brakes. The experience for ATV was 2.5 to 3. You could not ride for real as I am an avid rider. You had to follow in a single line as if you were in a training course. So if you're looking to ride with speed or do any type of fun things on the ATV, it's not going to happen. The ride to the secret hole was the best part of my experience there 5/5. The food (lunch) was awful 0/5. The employees constantly asking for a tip is a for sure turn off. We tipped the driver to the secret hole because he DID NOT ask for a tip. He deserved a tip for the wonderful expereince that he gave. I would not recommend this to family or friends.

Great place for the adventurous and nature lovers. The only downside is the wait time. When I went recently, my group arrived at the appointed time in which we initially booked for. We checked in, got our wristbands but then they told us that we had to wait for the group that was ahead of us to come back from the tour and that wait was almost an hour. During that wait, we entertained ourselves with the attraction they offered which was the bird canopy where you can feed the birds and whatnot. We did the zip line which was fun, they offered the ATV vehicle which had a brief orientation to see if we could operate the bikes (we weren’t allowed to take our phones) and then the last thing was river. There’s a 10ft jump and afterwards we relaxed. They provided food as well which was good. 💯

I completely enjoyed this experience and I think this is a must do whether visiting or living in Jamaica. The ATV experience is an adrenalin booster and the course though challenging is incredibly satisfying. The tractor ride was one of the highlights with our driver/tour guide Milton. We'll be back .....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Worst experience, very poor customer service. You can’t ask the tour guides questions, it’s like they’re annoyed or hate what they do. ATV tour lasted about 20 minutes NOT 45minutes. River was like a drop off and pick 10 minutes span. Life guards need training (along with the rest of the staff). Food was poorly cooked. Unable to get photos that I chose and was apart of my package as the dolphin memory app keep giving error “communication error” 100% would not recommend if I could leave 0 star I would.

For the amount of money we spent to ride….25ish minutes was not worth it. It was definitely fun, the birds were cool, but I think we waited longer than we actually got to ride.

Went on the Time Traveler jitney tour. The tour guide/driver, Donavan, was a delight - Knowledgeable and funny. Tour offered interesting history tidbits and awesome views. Bumpy fun little ride. Time at the great house seemed rushed. The bird enclosure was cool - first time feeding birds. They provide the seeds and the birds perched and ate right out my hand. There was some waiting around at the start - checking in other guests and getting everyone situated but overall a I nice way to spend a couple hours.

So much fun...riding here was awesome. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was absolutely stunning. Nicole was our guide and boss and she and our driver were both awesome. The hike to the the Blue Hole was rough but the payoff of such beauty was well worth it. This was by far one of my favorite excursions.

Absolutely fantastic!! We did the mud buggy and the secret river. The mud buggys were the best I've done so far, sample size is 2, but this one does not disappoint. The tractor pulled wagon ride to the secret river was on a whole different level... Saw more than one thing I didn't know tractors could do, and there will most likely be screaming... They might be screens of joy, they might be screams of terror. I loved it, stood the whole ride back. Lunch was free and provided and hit the spot perfectly. Would absolutely recommend, but it's wild and not for everyone. People with disabilities be warned. And water shoes are required. I used my sneakers, they'll dry.

Had a bomb time. Was treated with amazing hospitality. From the bus tour with Suzette and Edwin all the way to the bird sanctuary and the dune buggies tour!! It all was a great deal of fun. After our amazing adventure we were served rice, beans, Mac salad, and some chicken. Everything tasted great even the tropical juice. I would Def re-do this again!! The people overall were a good time by themselves. They were so energetic, I loved this!

We had to wait for nearly an hour before we went on the dune buggies that was fun but only 45 mins on them , then we went on a tractor and trailer ride Donavan was great we were left too long at the secret river the lifeguards tried to get you to buy drinks at $10 no way was we paying that . We then we’re taken back to the main area where we were ment to have food and a drink this guy who had been peacocking most of the time we were there tried changing us $11 for a beer and the same for another drink up until then I had enjoyed my time there but he ruined it shame really I’m happy to tip if they deserve it ! Just be careful we’re ever you go shame there just after your money ☹️ But Donavan made my day had a great sense of humour shame about a few others .

Very disappointing!!!! I had high hopes for this excursion but it was a complete letdown. I purchased 2 packages for the mud buggy, jitney ride and secret river and only did the mud buggy because the river was too rough. They did not refund any portion of my money and gave me 1 t-shirt as compensation. Dispute the fact that there were two of us and we paid for two people. Very disorganized and would definitely not recommend!!

Disorganized operation here unfortunately. Waited for 2 hours after paying and still did not get to ride the buggy. They told us 3 pm and at 3:30 they were still organizing a large group who came in after us to ride. We understand that taking a large group makes more sense for the company but we had other things planned in our day to get done so we left. Also right before we left another large group came who rented 16, 4 wheelers but they didn't have enough to accommodate them after they already paid also. Nice looking place. Bad operations

The side by side excursion was the best part! Sadly the UTVs kept dying so maybe get better with the maintenance, but it was so much fun. The jerk chicken cooking demo was delicious and the plantation tour was cool, though they didn't give any real history on the place nor explain what crops the plantation specialized in...maybe allspice? Still really great. Would definitely recommend.

First and foremost, this is an honest review. I was pleased with the service I received. The staff was friendly and did an excellent job. I didn't receive any biased treatment because I was a local. I was treated with respect. Everything was good, especially the river. I love nature and that was breathtaking. Would I visit again? You bet!!! So, yes, I had a grand time. #Awesomesauce 🖤

It was a fun experience. Enjoyed the driving the ATV, feeding the birds. The tour was very informative. I would recommend this place for a group of friends and even family. I had one little problem though the food, it wasn't the best. Guess it was a one off thing idk but apart from that i enjoyed it!!

Spent $180 per person for a 25 minute ATV ride.. the secret river was closed so they offered a “substitution” that we were not interested in but no refund. Keep in mind it is a 3 hour “excursion.” I spent more time waiting in line to sign my release and pay $10 for a locker than I did on the ATV. On top of it, My husband's ATV didn’t work well so they offered to let him go again, but refused to let me go with him.. what fun it would be for me to sit there for 25 minutes alone waiting for him to finish his ride alone. I would not recommend as there are many better excursion offers out there!

The Secret River was perfect. I loved it way more than the ATV ride I went there for. It was exactly what was needed-the water was cool, clean and refreshing. I was disappointed that the team at the ATV hub were not following covid protocols. They didn't wear masks and weren't sanitizing the helmets and bikes as they should.. The buggy driver was kind and very friendly. He wore his mask for the entire ride and stopped to get mangoes for us on our way back from the river. I would have preferred more mud for the ATV ride though

The excursion itself was terrible! We booked through a very misleading Royal Caribbean excursion… to start it took us about an hour and a half to even get the the excursion and 3 hours to return. The excursion was listed as a fast paced 980 acre offroading experience with a scenic view -and coconuts. This was not the case. No food, no beverage, no view, no coconuts. Our buggy was practically falling apart and had to be restarted. Ride was at best 6 minutes. Staff was shady and manipulative, forcing us to give good review on the paperwork in order to get an ATV. Had to pay $10 insurance for their already run down equipment. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!! NOT SAFE! They will exploit US citizens and Royal Caribbean does not care what happens to you.

This place has the ability to be a great attraction, but unfortunately, my visit was not so great. The tour started almost an hour after we were told, the buggies were not working properly and then the package I paid for online listed food (no choice in what to have) and drinks, however upon being served, I was told we had to pay for drinks/water which couldn't be received until I left the food to go to my vehicle to get my purse to pay for it (i don't know who orders food only). It has great potential but these things really made it disappointing for me

Everyone was so helpful, patient and knowledgeable. We had a great time. The food that is included is served with love and is delicious. Wish the portion was bigger. My only “complaint”. The park was beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The photo package is pricey but worth it but bring a safe phone case and tripod and that will suffice too. The employees take pride in everything they do and it noticeable. From check in, to the bird exhibit, to food, restroom attendants to the 4wheelers, all amazing. I plan on going back every trip.

Great experience, book ahead and go early. Atv is much more fun than the dune buggy. The tractor 🚜 ride is very bumpy when you sit at the back. Secret river is very much secluded and in a great spot. The food was not all that tho the jerk chicken was dry and the rice tough. Recommend eat before going, or pack something. They don’t allow you to carry your phone or GoPro to take ur own pictures. Pictures are 2500 or more local price.

    - An overall excellent experience - helpful staff - beautiful scenery - the guides have a ton of canned jokes Edit: Donovan the Jitney driver was absolutely amazing. He is both jovial and informative.

Such a cool spot. They have zip line, ATV/buggies, tour of an old plantation, cooking demonstration and the secret river. I did the buggies and secret river. Jumped off the dive platform and went into the cave under the falls. Was so cool. The old plantation is pretty. Back at the top there's a shop for gifts. T-shirts, Keychain, hats etc. They had a bar for drinks. Wasn't stocked well nor did they have ice so I stuck to bottled water. Staff are super friendly. Mark at the secret river took my pictures there because they didn't have anyone down there today. Usually they do. Richard took my picks on the buggy. I paid $50 and will get them delivered electronically. That was so much fun. I wish I could do it again! If you're in Ochi and you're looking for some outdoor fun visit this place!!

Unfortunately due to heavy rain, 2/3rd’s of our tour was cancelled so we could only do the ATV ride and we were provided with lunch. The ride was fun and lunch (jerk chicken, rice and peas and macaroni salad) was very tasty. Our driver from Bahia Principe (Elmo) to the tour was excellent, he is a cautious and careful driver and showed us landmarks along the way. Only disappointment was the tour company only refunded us $20 USD per person and we paid around $140+ per person and we only got to do the ATV ride and have lunch.

Daniel was a great tour guide, kept us organized, very good personality to keep the tourists intrigued while we ride towards the yaaman adventure park. Once there, he did great keeping us together and the rest of the crew kept us all together for a safe and fun experience 4 wheeling through the jungle. The food that ate after was good. Chicken was fantastic, the sides were meh...but i didn't go there for the food, so I wont dock points for it. Id definitely return.

Yaaman is great! The activities are fun and the tour guides are great. Very interactive and jovial. Big up Milton on the jitney bus that took us to the secret river, the drive was a blast. Felt like we were on a roller coater and the vibes was high. and Nicky our Dune buggy guide was great, she had us driving like we were in fast and furious. It was a very muddy ride, you will be stiff and sticky from head to toe. But you'll love it!! The drinks on sale are pretty pricey and the food is very lacking not in taste more in quantity, so if possible walk with something to top up yourself if your a bellyaz like me lol.

Fun experience, seems that most ppl enjoy what they do. Food wasn’t a Buffet but I think that was mainly due to covid. If you aren’t staying in ocho rios and staying in Montego Bay expect your cab ride to be upwards of 220$ there and back.

At first the visit was amazing. Our tour guide, Donovan who took us to the Secret River was hilarious and the journey there was a delight. He claimed he would pick us back up after 45 minutes at the River. Two hours later and there was no transportation. The group of us, hungry and soaked, waited an extra 20 minutes until Donovan came back. It was a quiet ride back to the restaurant where the food was not ready. Along with this the drinks were not included ($6 per drink) despite the description of the trip including lunch (assuming drinks too). At this point, they wanted us to continue to the atv ride tour because they knew we were already behind and sunset was near. We voluntarily decided to go home early because we had enough. Despite this roller coaster of an excursion, they gave us a complimentary shot glass for the inconveniences. Would not recommend unless you and your family have a generous amount of patience, which my family does not.

This attraction was above and beyond my expectations and I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND! The admin staff was quite receptive and accommodating and all the male tour guides were characters😂. The views of the estate were breathtaking, put PLEASE PEOPLE... DISCARD YOUR MASKS APPROPRIATELY!! Saw littered mask on the river tour, and that was the only negative note for me.

Visited the park as a group and I must say it is very overrated. Let me start with the positives: 1. It was easy to locate and 2. the place was clean 3. The staff was friendly. Now to what was not so good: 1. The long wait to get handbands- the front desk wasn't as crowded and a rep attended to us in a timely manner but it took up to 30 minutes to get our handbands.2. After we got our handbands we had to wait for the tour guide to start us off, this took at least an hour. 3. The tour guide determined the flow of activity so we did the atv ride first. Despite us paying for the full package they told us we could not get a single buggy and as such some persons would have to share. After expressing that we were discontent they allowed us to get what we paid for. 4. The zip line did not meet expectation as it was a short line over the river that you could drop in, but it was really short , like less than a 1 minute short, more like a zip and splash kind of thing. 5. You can't carry food to the river or while doing the activities so expect to starve during the tour unless you decide to purchase from the snack bar. 6. The snack bar isn't cheap, one banana chips is like $350 JMD. 7. Lunch is included in our package but the park decides when you eat and that is at the end of your tour so if you are going please carry food as you can have food with you before you start the tour and while at the welcome area. 8. The food was horrible and there was no options, they served "jerk" chicken, rice and peas and literally 3 penny pastas. Can you imagine doing such a long tour to go to bad tasting food? Plus they didnt even allow you yo choose the part of the chicken that you fancied. All and all I wouldn't go back ,there are other great places in the country that offers the same experience for less or the same amount of money. Always read about them and wanted to go but wow it is so overrated.
