The wait time to see a doctor after you've been assessed by a nurse is excruciating at the emergency department....the waiting area floor is always dirty seems its only been sweep not wipe....all staff members favorite phrase is....go sit and wait until your name is called so you can never get information ....the bathrooms for out patients is filthy there is no seat r covers on them the pipes just run toilet can only flush with a pan.....and the mess goes on

Need a 0 star worse ever. My mom there from morning and up until midnight no bed for her in that cold place. One of the worse in Ja. God help me not to have to go that place.

My mom and dad died in this hospital because of negligence. The so-called health professionals are incompetent. I will never forget the lack of care my parents received from this hospital.

The absolute worst. Nurses have no respect and the hospital doesn't care if they do, female security officers are beyond incompetent. Everyone idles even when they DON'T have downtime. If you're friends with a nurse or a doctor you get fast treatment. Information is never passed on properly u betta knw what to do as nobody listens to you even if you say you're dying and nearly every worker at that hospital assumes 100 percent of the time that patients aren't new and they should always know what to do. Hospital is poorly maintained and not even toilet paper is issued in the bathrooms, they are never clean and MOH doesn't care a bit about these issues as this problem is repetitive all over the island... if this continue don't be surprised if fights starts to breakout and nurses starts dying often and hospitals starts burning. Government lack a proper proactive midset and the hospital workers lack empathy, a recipe for a massacre. Trust me.

I reached the hospital 9:45 pm at the emergency door. There were no porter to take my son from the car. I stood there approximately 10mins no porter. Then the security on duty had the audacity to tell me to move the car with my son in it crying. However an ambulance came and the driver and another assisted me to take him out. When they finally looked at him it was after 2 am he was to do a xray when they called the xray department no reply. I had to go home. Came back the next day I had no problem to get the xray done. I took it to the doctor he told me I had to go over the procedure again. I waited over an hour to see a nurse to start the process but was not lucky, I had to leave as I didn't plan to sleep there again. The service is very bad.

My pregnant sister was hospilized at this hospiat and the behavior of the nurses were deplorable, we got little to no feed back on her health and was often left with unanswered question.

The service level at this hospital needs to be better... waiting on a doctor takes forever unless you are literally dying and the staff isn't always that ready to serve.

The bathroom showers on the female medical ward need fixing and the housekeeping department need to more frequent checks of the bathroom and empty garbage bin

I went down there pregnant and hardly breathing,I got there like in the afternoon and I had to sit and wait it was not until about 7 they finally came to help.

Am thankful for the doctors and staff at the ER and the nurse and doctors an the pediatric ward for assisting my son who was struggling with pneumonia for almost a year and a half that eventually scaring his lung.

My experience was good thank for the nurse and doctors who take care of my grandbaby who had a asthma attack.

I was admitted here in 2018, it is not really a bad place but can do well with a little renovation and proper equipment. It does take a long time for someone to check on you and assist quickly at the emergency area. On the wards the nurses and doctors are respectful and friendly and at the clinic it does help with your sickness, you get to see the doctor that same day and get your prescriptions filled. There is a shift system whereas in the mornings you have to be there before 7am to get a number and in the evening you have to be there before 3pm. The number system works as a babies first, emergencies, toddler, elders then the remainder who came the time they came.

Didn't go there as a patient so I really cannot comment from that perspective but the hospital was great. The doctors, Radiographers, nurses and porters were all very professional and made it really easy to work with them as a student.

The usual service you would get at any Jamaican hospital. The wait time is not as long as the other main hospitals.

The nurse is there a train with the doctor they are distracting them might want to get involved with them patient log is too large the waiting. To get true that is too long they need to work on that
