Even thou the movie that I watched wasn't giving. The experience is really enjoyable and remembering. The food there was good also, I would recommend.

The building was crowded so the lines were a little long but apart from that the experience was lovely. The screen was clear and the audio was loud which was my expectation for a movie theater.

Got here for my birthday from june the 28th this year and i watched the little mermaid. It was so awesome there! The food too!

My 2nd time here and I must 1st say the place is hectic. Weekends and holidays are packed with people waiting to watch the newest movie releases and 2nd, the experience is nothing lesser awesome. The food, the staff (except for a slow cashier) and the service was great. Can't wait to go again.

Well they have fixed the glitch in their system... so i must commend them on the accuracy of the information posted... Once again customer service was ok... The workers were a lil frustrated with the uncleansiness of the people but they were still welcoming.. Comfortable seats... food was good a little expensive but totally worth it..

They were so unprepared for "Back To Cinema Day". All things said and done it was a great experience. The AC could be a little bit colder.

I bought my tickets online and was able to check in within seconds. The movie was great, not too crowded but still had a nice, respectful and responsive audience. We got the chicken bites and fries plus nachos and some sweets. Really enjoyed how Carib seems just as new as when I visited the first time in 2013.. and I can't wait to make it a weekly visit again.

I haven't been to this theater in over 20 plus years and I'm impressed although the neighborhood is 100 this theater is! Customer service from the people inside is good especially the people checking the tickets 🎟 😀 wonderful 👏 theater clean nice and the bathrooms 🚻 wow Clean fresh 👌 only issue was the lady and older gentleman when buying the tickets the lady is nasty attitude to the fullest 24/04/22 5pm needs to be retrained or REPLACED!!!! I’ve been there twice, loved it every time I went. Definitely one of my favorite places to unwind with friends and family

You had a pregnant attendant who had the nastiest attitude, I brought my 7yr old and 5yr old to watch the paw patrol movie. Customer service was horrendous well never go back to this one. 😕 also the movie was slated to begin at 5:20 it didn't start until almost 6, at 5:20 the curtains still had yet to be rolled back. My boys got uneasy after a while and rightfully so we were sitting there from 5 just waiting.

THIS WAS MY VERY FRIST TIME GOING TO CARIB 5 SO MAKE SURE WHEN YOU GO TOO CARIB 5 MOVIE THEATER IN JAMAICA AND YOU WATCHING A 3D MOVIE PLEASE BRING UR OWN 3D GLASSES WITH YOU BECAUSE WHEN U GET THE 3D GLASSES FROM THE MOVIE THEATER OR ALL OLD AND USE, ONLY GOD KNOWS HOW MANY PEOPLE PUT THESE GLASSES ON BEFORE YOU. CARIB DO BETTER PEOPLE PAY THERE MONEY TO COME SEE MOVIE YOU GUYS SHOWING .

It was a good experience. I experienced good customer service, the environment was clean, the traffic (crowd) moved smoothly, and quality of the show was good. It is a nice option for an evening outing.

Always clean. But I think they need better snacks. The nacho cheese and hotdogs are salty and I am not even a hypertensive.

It is the largest theater you will find in Kingston, Jamaica. It is usually crowed on holidays and Tuesdays because on Tuesdays tickets are sold at a rate of two for one. It's best to buy tickets early especially if it's a new or popular movie and enter early otherwise it's best to book for box office to get good seats. Front seats are most uncomfortable.

I always enjoy going here for the movies. And as my teen daughter says, 'Carib is for families'. The staff are the best and are so hard working. However, the seat I find to be uncomfortable. The seats are uncomfortable, the padding in the seats are worn thin, leading to me experiencing back pain before the end of the movie. Parking area In the back has seen the greatest improvements, its now paved,and the parking spaces are marked and their is security.

Watched Barbie, which was surprisingly good, loved the message I got from the movie about appreciation and sharing. I like Carib 5 theatre, although I find the sound from the speakers to be too high and the food court in need of some changes. The cashiers are sometimes the ones who cash and serve, adding to the length of time it takes and the freshness of the nachos and popcorn varies and sometimes, not enough ice is given. Apart from that, I love going to the movies and plan to support them again soon.

Wonderful place...the only thing that I have an issue with is the better for the popcorn always seems to run out, the popcorn does not taste as good without the butter.

It's a very nice cinema. It is located in a fairly high trafficked area. Based on movie schedule, to leave work and arrive on-time you will experience delays.....but a nice and clean environment.

I love going to carib. Alone, with friends, groups. It's a nice spot to go watch movies. Take at least 10k for food between 3 people.

I visited this location to watch Creed 3 for the afternoon show. Upkeep is great. Not too crowdy, fast service at concession stand and bathroom were very clean. Customer service is good Update: I visited the cinema to watch John Wick 4 and unlike my previous trip, the place was absolutely crowded. Adding to that, customer service was so bad that while trying to use the bathroom, a member of the cleaning crew was wiping the floor and totally flashed all the filth on my leg. After making the employee aware, they refused to acknowledge the incident occurred or even apologize. After waiting for an apology that never came, I literally said if it was an accident, I understand but you can apologize. I had to get the supervisor involved and the employee still refused to apologize. I had to go home and disinfect my leg. No training can get rid of dishonesty and the inability to take accountability. Why was this employee cleaning when patrons are actively using the bathroom anyway? The floor was literally filled with footprints by the time I decided to call on the supervisor for help. I've been here several times before and so ultimately, the level of service here is inconsistent. My wonderful experience of the John Wick film was ruined by this awful incident. I had to downgrade from 5 stars to 1. Zero stars would probably be more appropriate.

While it is the largest theater in Jamaica it is now very outdated. Seats are uncomfortable, screen quality is diminished, sound quality is poor. Don't expect any real ' 3d' or HD quality here. Much improvement is needed to make the movie going experience worth it.

While I’ve been here several times before, this most recent visit definitely turned me off. First off, we arrived early for the 5:20 movie. At 5:44, the movie hadn’t started yet we were still subjected to ads on the big screen. At around 5:55 the theater attendants came in and said that we’re going to change theaters- no explanation was given we all just had to get out of the theater and go to another theater. Mind you, at this point we had already purchased food so most everyone was walking with their food and drinks and belongings to change theaters. How chaotic! When we got to the second theater, we were also asked to return the 3D glasses that we were given previously. We were then provided with a new set of glasses, and we finally entered the second theater at around 6:02 PM. By this time we were very cranky and ready to get the movie started however, we were still subjected to more ads, and then we had to sing the national anthem. Now, as outdated as it is, I don’t think anything is necessarily wrong with singing the national anthem, however in a situation like this, where we would have been waiting for almost an hour for the move to begin, I think it was a waste of time. This could definitely have been bypassed. What’s more, is that these new set of 3-D glasses that we were given were very choppy the vision was not clear at all and the majority of people was complaining in the theater that we can’t see clearly. The movie finally began at around 6:16 PM. An absolutely disappointing visit. They need to skip the anthem and intermission!

I really enjoy my movie and the sound and video quality are great. The institution has fallen quite some way in my opinion the facilities are old and in need of upgrade. Movies are still one of my favorite past times and carib is still the best place to fulfill that indulgence.

Love going here with family. One advise...label the bins...patrons were throwing the 3D glasses in the unlabeled garbage bins. The staff cussed them out but I told them that maybe if the bins were properly labelled it wouldn't happen.

I have always enjoyed going to Carib Cinema. However I was a little disappointed with relatively small turnout on Sunday. I did however enjoy the movie and my extra-long hot dog and Red Stripe beer.

Wide screen, great acoustics. Loved that there was intermission and that I could purchase my snacks quickly. My only issue would be the overpriced meals and the lack of variety.

While the movie was great I had a very horrific experience of roaches in cinema 4 on the 11th of August. Please have pest control one crawled on my foot and there was two on the walls. I had to move from a very comfortable seat to another in fear of the crawling on me again. I ordered nuggets and fries and there was no fork available

It was very nice being back there. They need to do more half price shows. In this day and age where everyone has Netflix and HBO to go home and watch it is very nice to bring the whole family out and it doesn't cost you a arm and a leg. We enjoyed ourselves. I am looking forward to another visit

This place has been closed for 2 years. I gave it a three stars because the place was a bit lame in terms of energy. The movie my partner and I watched was awesome though. I love the fact that they now have additional parking across from the theatre.

Great movie theatre. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Threatres, concession and bathrooms are clean. More than adequate parking. Would be nicer if more adult films were showing concurrently with kids and teen films, so it could be a one stop experience for the family. .

A very good movie experience. Yes the theatre has been around for a while but is still keeping up to modern expectations I must say. They had a movie deal on Saturday. I took my whole family to watch Minions for my son's birthday. Birthday well spent!!!

I was a bit disappointed that the food menu screens still aren't working after being down since the start of Covid 2 years ago. Otherwise a great experience. The servers were very friendly and helpful

Carbon at their usual best. Full access available for everyone, to include wheelchairs. The only downside was getting food quickly once you enter the hall. Slow moving servers behind the stands. We are there to watch movies not to stand around waiting for food. That service can and should be improved upon.

At intermission for the last movie for the day the chaos at the concession stand was unbelievable. Bearing in mind these items re always overpriced you would think the management would pay some attention to it's organization and readiness to serve patrons!

It's a good spot to watch a movie, but more needs to be done with Security cause I was in the box area when i guy came up after intermission and asked for food that i bought for my son and myself and then this guy took off his shoes and used a lighter to search for God knows what, he then stepped out and came back inside with a plastic filled with bottle soda and snack which he would have gotten on the outside. My son felt very uncomfortable when the guy asked us for some of our food

Always been a favourite place of mine! Large enough auditoriums, good amount of cashiers, love going on a weekday after work. All around great spot to watch movies
