During the years that I’ve been going to Island Optical, every experience has been positive and great. Dr. Shaw, is the best opever had! Her eye exams and, prescriptions for new lenses, always amazes me in her accuracy of my needs. And, the lenses are of the best quality out of all the lenses over the past 46 years since I started needing them. Every staff member, that I have ever met at Island Optical are professional to the core - I also like everyone I have met to date. That 💯 is rare and delightful. I’m grateful for their care to detail, in every encounter. This type of consistency is priceless and something I never take for granted.

I would like to thank you for your help on fixing my eyeglasses on my stop at Charlottetown during my recent cruise. Needless to say without my glasses my trip might have been awful. I heard that people on the island were very helpful and welcoming to all visitors and that proved to be very true. There was no hesitation to help me and all that at no cost. Very grateful Thanks

Very professional and friendly staff that are informative and helpful with any questions you may have. Examination was done in a timely manner and selecting new glasses was much easier than I expected as well. Very clean and comfortable waiting area with free keurig beverages is also nice. Certainly recommend Island Optical as great eye care service.

On short notice, Dr. Shaw removed metal debris from my eye. I was very nervous about touching my eyes, and had tears running down my face, but she was extremely comforting, careful, and professional. After the surgery was performed, I was back to work within a couple of hours. I cannot say enough kind words about Dr. Shaw- she was very friendly, informative, and open. She made an uncomfortable scenario feel pleasant. 100/10. Thank You Dr. Shaw :)

While on a cruise from Quebec City to NYC I lost the nose pad to my Maui Jim sunglasses. I stopped at Island optical to see if they could help me replace the pad. I was greeted by a very helpful staff member who went the extra mile to find something that would work. When I asked what I owed I was pleasantly surprised when I was told there was no charge. While I was there I saw another person from my cruise boat who was also receiving excellent service to repair his broken glasses. I highly recommend Island operated optical

My daughter and I had a smooth visit today. We didn’t wait long and while my daughter had her eyes examined, Jaqueline helped me look for new glasses. Was easy to pay and order what we needed.

Best Optical Eyecare on PEI. Traveling 55 minutes to my appointment is well worth it. The staff is very welcoming when you walk in (Roland, you are awesome) and Dr Shaw is very professional at what she does and explains very well. Receptionist are perfect at what they do.
