Narrow beach. The water did not had much waves. There was lot of green plants in the water making it of low interest to hit the water. Well placed amenities for bath and cleaning. Ample parking space.

This venue is like a British soap opera -- hasn't changed much in 20+ years since I visited it as a kid. Still a great activity when beach-time is not an option. Basically a permanent midway with a few extra activities like mini golf and bumper boats. Compared to a traditional mid-way, the bracelet prices are reasonable ($32/person in 2023). If you take part in more than 4 activities, your bracelet pays for itself. I have kids aged 10-16 and there were enough activities to justify the expense ($175 taxes in for a family of 5 -- we spent 3+ hours there and the kids said it was the highlight of our stay on the Island). It is important to know that go-karts and carnival games are NOT included in the bracelet and cost around $8/activity. Was a life-saver on an overcast day on the Island. The Cyclone is still one of the best mini roller coasters in the world and my kids were able to ride it 3 times in less than an hour. Lineups are "Costco"-like...they move fast and are worth the wait. Biggest downside is the number of rides that are down for maintenance without announcement. Two rides were out of service -- something you don't know before buying a ticket. Having said that, compared to prices at the Capital Exhibition in Ottawa (and the time spent waiting in lines), this was a good use of time and money for a younger family in PEI.

This is a great place to bring your kids, the young as well as the young at heart! During Covidtide, you MUST make reservations in advance, which we found out the hard way. One good thing about buying in advance is that you get a bracelet for unlimited rides, but in order for parents to enter the park, you need to buy the pass as well for them. Still not a bad deal really. Kids LOVED IT!

It’s very good place to have fun 🀩. I bought 10 pack ride ticket which costed 45. The cyclone was the most enjoyable one. There is cup & plate ride too. Big wheel, few small rides for kids. The go cart was the amazing experience which only costed 9 bucks. The water bumb was wonderful experience too.

The city has limited options and can add more entertaining games. I liked the go cart, prices were reasonable. And I like the options of charge. The city was small enough that you can completely complete your visit for very short time. I don't recommend the daily pass, as there are close to nothing to play I enjoyed the go cart and another couple of games We went at 10:00 left at 13:00

Sandspit is a small but fun amusement park catering to tourists in Cavendish. It's great for the kids (all 5 in our group LOVED coming here for a day) it tuckered them out and they enjoyed the rides..over and over again. Some of the adults played a few rounds of mini golf and it was a lot of fun. It's simple but a really nice way to spend part of a day or a few hours. We went back after dinner and it was a treat to see all the rides lit up. As some reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit dated but still a great time. I loved that it wasn't too busy and there was barely a wait for rides and games.

A small amusement park with roller coaster, Ferris wheel, go-carts and a reasonable selection of the usual carnival rides and games. Line ups are not unreasonable and prices are ok. About $60 for 11 rides.

Great spot to spend your vacation. Prices for tickets are high, and go karts are sold separately. Bracelets are alright price if you use all of the rides. Would recommend specially if you have a family. Very fun spot to spend the day.

Affordable and family friendly. I was really surprised at the friendliness of the kids working here. All seemed really nice to guests.

I did give 3 stars as we did have a good day overall. We drove in June 26/23 and planned to go straight to sandspit for a few hours before heading to our hotel but what a mess. We thought we missed the school week, as online showed it was last week, but sure enough, a dozen schools busses were there. The kids? Rude as hell. The chaperons? They are too busy gossiping to each other than focusing on their duties as chaperons. My niece and I waited for a ride, and everytime we moved up in line, every preteen/teenager behind us found their way ahead of us. We complained to the person running the ride and they were just as frustrated as we were. My sister spoke to the manager on our way out, nothing he could do about it either, said he has spoken to the chaperons several times himself. Also that they have issues every year with this particular school and students. Sad to let one school ruin it for all the schools, but something needs to be done as it's chasing other patrons away.

Went as a family of four (for this the bracelets are the way to go) and we got our money's worth...with the exception (and why I give 4 out of 5 stars) we paid $92 for bracelets but they did jot cover the cost of go-carts (I spent an additional $32 to cover 5 go-cart trips). All in all however we had a blast. For a small roller coaster theirs is fun as heck. Went on it multiple times, ferris wheel gives views of the ocean to the North and the drop tower was a hit with our oldest.

Fun amusement part, golf was the highlight for me. Very safe place for kids, free parking, fast food on site, well maintained and friendly staff 😁

Really fun way to spend a few hours. Lots of rides and pretty fun for the entire family. Bracelet gets you access to most rides, the racing cars is separate but lots of fun.

Good as amusment parks go but a little run down. Go-Karts were breaking down as we were on them and there is only one bathroom in the park. Not a bad way to burn an afternoon but maybe once every few years

Small theme park with rides mostly aimed at kids (2-10). Reasonable prices with options for day, evening or individual rides. The go karts aren't included. There's a mini golf course as well. Definitely nostalgic for parents who've visited previously as very little has changed over the years, though there is a new ride being tested at the moment, it looks close to opening!

My kids are 8 and 11 and they absolutely loved it here. It is a small amusement park, but the lines were very short and the time on the rides were a lot longer than other places we have been to overall the kids and the adults loved this place.

A fine place to go with kids. The place is aging and it's starting to show. Some rides are truly worth it, especially the Cyclone and the Ferris wheel (try to catch a ride when the sun is setting). We had the night bracelets, which were around 25$ to visit the park from 16h00 to 22h00. I think it was a fair price.

Amazing place. Ride for kids and adults great. Price per ride, is little expensive. But if you buy the 35$ package is more beneficial.

My wife and I visited the park in summer 2023. We really enjoyed the time spent here and overall atmosphere. No rushed lines and decent rides for a place like Cavendish town. We went later in the evening and my wife was able to get us discount, online-only tickets. For that value, we got the best deal and experience. Highly recommend to take advantage of the deal, if going late or else, get a day-pass and enjoy the rides any time of the day you would like. Could take a break, get a meal, go to the beach, etc., and return back. Staff are friendly and nice.

Quite disappointed. Showed up with a 3 and 4 year old (over 36inches tall) and was told I would need to accompany my child for some of the rides, fine. We purchased bracelets. The place is so old and dated. Several rides not operating - same admission price. It seemed poorly organized as these young kids (staff) were required to manage several rides at once (I.e., same person running the flying planes, cars and horse ride). The staff looked absolutely annoyed with customers and were not friendly. Lastly, my bracelet (as an adult) was NOT used ONCE as most rides were for the kids only - adults weren’t allowed to accompany their kids. We stayed for 30-40 min. and paid $75. Save your money, go find other fun things to do!

Super impressed. We had the most perfect day there, prices are very good. Impressed with the employees as well, most are very young ( maybe I'm just old now? ) But they were on the ball with safety precautions and most were very pleasant - none were rude, just not loving their job in that moment. Also, love how they kept their staff with full water bottles and moved them around ride to ride to keep them from being bored ( and help with safety again ) The young guy at the counter was so knowledgeable and helpful. I can't say enough good about this place ❀️ Would be cool to get some new rides there, even without - still a blast!
