The road to the lighthouse was not paved. I won't recommend anyone go there without a 4-wheel drive. The views are stunning! With a 4-wheel, you will enjoy the ride too.

It was raining and the path was washed out in a few of the areas during the 1km hike. Had to walk in the grass, but overall the views were beautiful . Worth the trek!

The road leading to the lighthouse and scenic cliffs is very narrow and extremely bumpy so go slow.....very tight squeeze if someone is leaving and coming at the same time. The view is of the North Atlantic Ocean and the view of the cliffs are amazing. A must visit. It's located about 35 to 40 minutes north from the Confederation Bridge central PEI. Avonlea village and other visiting locations are about 15 min away.

Accessed from a lone red dirt road, the view from Cape Tryon Lighthouse is from straight out of a dramatic Victorian movie, with cliffs on either side, birds resting on the bottom shore, and a lighthouse looming above. It's my favorite view in PEI.

Beautiful scenery but the road to get there is rough. We saw someone blow a tire coming out of the road. Recommend parking and walking down.

The drive to this lighthouse was a little rough, but the views at the end was well worth it.

Beautiful views of the water and landscape beside this lighthouse. The drive into this area was through a dirt road that could fit a little more than one car, so do not worry if you encounter this on the way. Small area and parking is quite limited, could maybe fit 10 vehicles inside bthe area

Nice view. Very breathtaking. The road going there is very narrow. I wish there is a better way there.

This place is the best cliff side view point in PEI, and not to be missed! The daunting drive right at the end is doable and it is a hidden gem! If this is developed by parks canada expect to see a lot more rush. When we went there were only 6 people there. The sights take your breath away!

With breath taking views here, this is a must visit... Free to enter.. The lighthouse here is not up and running. But the view is well worth The Visit.

Beautiful place to visit. This lighthouse is located just off of a cliff with not many boundary fences so I didn't feel comfortable letting my children explore but for the adults it was a nice place to stop and take pictures.

You can drive right to it. It's a one lane road so you might have to jockey with someone coming the opposite direction. Nice lighthouse and excellent views into the ocean!

Very calm and secluded place. Road to this place is very narrow, just enough for a car on an unlaid road. Worth the trouble getting there.

Beautiful view. There's noticable erosion damage from recent hurricane, but it doesn't subtract from the lighthouse or view. Also, be friendly and park on the edge of the circle--not in the middle of the lane.

Lighthouse is neat and the setting is fantastic! Beautiful bluffs, crashing waves, caves carved along the sea edge down below, neat washout from the rain water runoff. Definitely worth visiting but it is a bit off the beaten path.

We initially missed the turn for this hidden gem. While in better condition than some of its nearby peers, it has seen better days. The cliffs around the lighthouse more than make up for any defects in the lighthouse itself. This experience was worth the drive down the red dirt road.

Nice, off the beaten path, scenic cliffs. Drive slow as it's a one lane road so you have to be ready to pull over to let oncoming traffic go by. Small parking area in front of the lighthouse.

The lighthouse is accessible by Cape Tryon Road, which is a single-lane gravel backroad, so one has to yield to oncoming traffic. Great place to watch sunrise and sunset.

Beautiful stop! Well worth the trek down the long dirt road. It is a lighthouse and absolutely breathtaking views.
