I had wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this business to others. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

This was a perfect spot for us to hang out Cavendish weekend. They hooked us up with shuttle access (for a fee) and after the third night they even brought in a cook and opened up the kitchen for people to eat after the show. Chicken wings were wonderful way to end the night.

On September 2, 2023 we stayed there for one night but were charged for two (2 and 3 September 2x$199 + tx). When we arrived at the end of the day, the front desk clerk (Emrich?) handed us the key to lodge #24. We got in my wife and I but the room was smelly and dirty. We thought it was expensive to pay for the offer. We returned to the reception desk and mentioned our dissatisfaction to the employee who offered us an immediate refund for the two nights. We declined because it was late and we had no other place to sleep. The employee never told us it was now or never for the possible credit of the second night. The next morning we requested a refund for the second night and it was refused. I asked for a copy of the invoice, but it was not available. The employee assured me that I would receive it by email. After several minutes of back and forth discussions where the employee was closed and arrogant, we had to resume our journey and returned to the Borden-Carleton tourist information booth to make an official complaint. In the end we were charged on my Master Card for two nights without ever receiving the invoice.

My friends got married there. The front desk persons can't tie their shoes without calling a manager. My friend has medical needs for heating pads but they couldn't find her a microwave (there was one right behind the desk they could have given her for 2 nights) and they had no glasses (a country club with a bar???) The rooms looked like Great Aunt Ester decorated in 1902, and smelled like her after she died. The supper was served by incompetent waitstaff, we had spoiled cream for coffee and someone found a bread clip in the food. Awful place. Find a better venue to get married.

Be warned that they don't put prices up because they are looking to price-gouge unsuspecting tourists. I was charged $963 for a three-night off-season double room here. Something I'd be willing to pay for a resort, not a motel. Amenities: Lacking. Restaurant, closed. Gym, closed. Hot tub, closed. By September 20. Wifi couldn't sustain video calls, dropped frequently. After many attempts to contact, the manager offered $40 refund via email but didn't apply any and stopped replying to me. Reception: Unreliable (friendly when available, but not very helpful). Left a key at reception for my partner who was arriving later; by 8:30 pm, front doors were locked, no one to hear us knock, nor was I notified this would be the case. Yes I know the staff is hard to come by. I think the cost could be adjusted accordingly. Rooms: Outdated. A leaking sink with discolored water ruined my toiletries, and staff who changed the towel didn't even bother to wipe the soaked countertop. Expect only a towel change and no complimentary water. At least the view was nice. They did offer a king room upgrade which I appreciated, so the price I paid was originally for a double room. This place does exist and is sort of open, but is eerily empty off season and the worst value stay I've ever had. I donโ€™t enjoy writing negative reviews but I know several of my other traveling friends had a poor experience as well, so I felt the need to share my own experience. I really wish I could have resolved some of this with the manager via the weeks of emails they chose to ignore.

This store is full of surprises. So many selections of items for anyone who is looking for gifts, souvenirs, clothing, home decor, jewellery, garden decor, soaps etc.. a must visit if you are in PEI.

Our cottage was infested with ear wigs and we found a used condom in our bed ... do lot stay here ever!!! This worst lodging experience of our lives and we were not reimbursed for our room!!! Television network did not work ~ BBQ should be disposed of rooms were unkept and unsafe. We will be dealing with PEI dept of tourism regarding Stanley Bridge resort.

The restaurant was closed. The pool was dirty. The hot tub was empty and the spa was non existent. We were 3 of 4 guests in the entire hotel. The front door was locked at 11 and no staff to be seen at 07. A very kind housekeeper made us breakfast.

Stayed in an inn room for four days this summer. Honestly, was the cleanest hotel room weโ€™ve stayed in in awhile! We have two young children and had no reservations about letting our baby crawl around the room (which was really large, so perfect for kids who need space to play!). The only reason this isnโ€™t a five star review is because the restaurant was really slow for breakfast, and in fact we ended up having to leave before being served. We understood it was because of labour shortages, but an alternative breakfast offering would have been amazing.

Stayed here for a wedding that was at Clinton hills so the location was perfect. The cabin wr stayed in was small and old, but it was nice enough. The doors were hard to lock from the outside though so an upgrade to their locks might be a good idea. Service was friendly but they did forget to come and do house keeping in our unit one of the days. Apart from that a hood experience.

Great location! Stayed in one bedroom lodge unit! They are pretty old but are maintained well. Was there for a wedding and enjoyed my stay! One of the staff member even dropped and picked us up at 1 am from clinton hills as there was no taxi service and we were stuck. Overall i was very happy with everything!

It is overly priced but I guess with inflation every business canada wide has great price rise. They seemed to be short staffed, but did a great job overall! Room was clean and bed was very comfortable! Ac was bit noisy the first day and seemed not cooling on second day of our stay. When advised they upgraded me to King suite water view on the third floor and oh my god what a breathtaking view. Rest 2 nights were great in my king suite.

The rooms and overall building are quite dated. However they appear to be well maintained. And the location is great. Feels more like a good value choice in the area.

Perfect spot for a family get together! I was bit worried before my check in hearing about earwigs but we stayed in one of the big 3 bedroom cottage and it was really spacious and it had the old lifestyle vibe which I liked the most. The restaurant at the property was closed but the front desk girl advised they do offer food for people staying at the resort and it was delicious. We had fish and chips , pizza and salad and it was just amazing. There is a little bar at the property as well. Hot tub was closed but the pool was open. I wish they had the heated pool but thatโ€™s okay we enjoyed our time with family in there. There was housekeeping every day and they cleaned our cottage when we left to visit other places at the beautiful Island. When we came back our cottage was neat and clean. We stayed here for 5 nights, prices were bit high but we enjoyed ourselves. Internet was on and off the first two nights but worked for rest of our stay. I can say it was a beautiful visit overall and I am glad we were there!

Gift shop review only - nice enough with some local and some imported stuff. Some jewelry, lots of soap, some artwork... Worth a stop but no stunning one of a kind things here.

Beautiful location but the place is in need of updates. Also there were a lot of gross earwigs. A professional exterminator would go a long.

My family experienced super bad communication from this resort in regards to an upcoming booking due to a family wedding in the local area. Trying to get ahold of anyone to get some customer service was completely out of reach. The management team here really needs to do better! I know, itโ€™s been a difficult time in the tourism sector as I also work in this area of work but this review is based on this current experience as well as experiences dating back for quite some time. This is not the first time that my family has experienced a lack of help at this resort.

We were there for a wedding reception. The food was very good but it's the first time ever that the dishes from the previous course weren't removed. They just stacked the next part of the meal on top of the previous courses.

I only went to the craft store and it was delightful. So many wonderful treasures! Can't visit PEI without going to Stanley Bridge Craft Store!

This resort was once amazing, however it is under new ownership and management. The resort is in desperation need of upkeep. Hopefully the new owners will invest in returning this property to what it used to be.

It was all about the people who work at the resort. The front desk, the kitchen staff and the grounds person. It was a fabulous 4 nights 5 day trip.

I'm not basing my 2 star rating on the entire resort but more due to the room we had reserved to stay in for 6 days. We were told it had AC but the unit itself was very old & didn't work. The top floor was incredibly hot. The room was clean, the manager & front desk clerk were friendly! We ended up not staying due to the heat. If it wasn't for this I'm sure our stay would have been fine!

Ate, again, at The Farmer and the Fisher. The menu changed slightly but we're still very happy with it and the food is delicious!! Try the fried oysters, so light and tasty!!! So glad this restaurant opened! It's a lovely spot and a beautiful drive from Charlottetown. We'll be back!
