I really enjoyed this place. The service was great, the atmosphere was dark and moody and romantic even. And the food selection is great. I tried two cocktails: The old fashion and the mezcal Negroni. Both were very tasty. And for food I had the seared tuna which was exceptional. The portion size was small but good enough for an appetizer. I will definitely come back to explore their other options!

10/10 I was recommended by a coworker to check out this restaurant and they did not disappoint. I came for brunch and ordered the blackened mahi mahi sandwich. It was so good! The ingredients were so fresh and the mango added that extra flavor. Our server was so polite and helpful. The decor is upscale and chic. The meals are roughly $20 per person. We went on a Sunday at 10am, however they do not fully open until 10:30am. We were unaware of this but the staff was so accommodating and let us drink at the bar until they were ready to open. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant for your next meal.

Great dinner experience! Went with a large group for a birthday and everything was so good. Our server Ethan did a great job with our large group and everyone has been talking about how good the food and cocktails were!

Felt like a great mashup of vibes from the Chloe, Hungry Eyes, Jewel of the South, and Copper Vine. The obviously-picture-worthy ambience and drinks will no doubt keep the patrons flowing but this place isn’t just an “instagram restaurant” like many others that have come and gone. The atmosphere is a tasteful mix of quality details, playfulness, and a nod to the historic charm of the building. Staff were extremely friendly, fun, and welcoming. The cocktails were excellent, particularly the Lavender Collins and Spicy Boi (would put them up against some of the best in the city). We were outside full kitchen hours so weren’t able to enjoy the full menu but will definitely be back. Very glad to have Beggars Banquet in the neighborhood!

Really amazing food, cocktails, wine list and desserts. It’s hard to shine on all fronts, but they do! Also shoutout Ethan, really amazing and friendly server!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!! Beggars and Banquet is my new spot! The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant was super chilled. I like the fact it wasn’t extremely loud and crowded. Service was thee best! Shoutout to the best server ever Ethan!!! He was super friendly, he made wonderful suggestions, my friend is a woman, so he was nice enough to give us both a little taste of one of the rose. He even gave us a breakdown of the restaurants, history the meaning behind the name. Come to find out it’s a Rolling Stone song + family owned restaurant. Everything makes sense because looking at the wall decor throughout the restaurant, it has a pop fill to it. We had the Sriracha cauliflower for our appetizer. I had the short ribs, my friend had the gulf fish (halibut). SOOOOOO freaking delicious!!! I’m a cocktail girl I had the fish house punch. My friend on the other hand who’s a true wino had the rose with notes of watermelon, white pepper, etc. The was good! I had the flourless chocolate torte (salted caramel). Our experience at Beggars Banquet was PERFECT!

Absolutely 10/10 dining experience. The food was absolutely exquisite, the drinks were delicious and well-priced, the service was friendly and attentive. We went to celebrate a birthday but will be returning frequently, as we've found our new neighborhood favorite--my partner and I both agreed it was one of the best meals we've had in New Orleans. A gem! We can't wait for our next meal here.

This is a new place and does not serve beggars. The calamari was really crunchy, but spicy. The ahi tuna was delicious. The duck Confit was great. The stuff you see underneath it was a combination of pecans, bacon, brown sugar, and honey... Yummy. We were there early and the place was quiet. I'm not sure how loud it could be when crowded. BTW, I got that drink because of the Barbi movie. It was ok, but their old fashioned was better.

An absolute gem. I can't believe it's taken me so long to visit this establishment but I was blown away. We started with the calamari and it was absolutely amazing (and so much better looking than the pics on this site). The pork belly was also quite nice. My husband had the steak which was excellently prepared and I had the scallops. The scallops were over crab hash and this dish was so outstanding I will be hard pressed to order anything else. By this time we were stuffed and had a delightful espresso martini (salted) as our dessert. We were so immersed in our dining experience that we failed to take pics. The ambiance and service were top notch ... Patty (owner with Chef hubs Mike) was the hostess and so incredibly welcoming, Ethan, our waiter, won us over immediately and took such great care of us. I am so excited to discover this new dining option in NOLA and can't wait to introduce my friends to Beggars Banquet.

Perfect date night spot. The dining room is very sleek and elegant with a beautiful mural on the wall. Drinks and food were fantastic, I had this great drink called the "Spicy Boi" which I highly recommend. We had a friendly server Ethan, who took great care of us. You have to go here!
