Great craft brewery / eatery. Menu introduced by new chief is spot on. Fantastic to see the 5% project charitable side of things also.. this more transparent type of giving deserves more support.

Stopped in for a quick drink on the drive home, saw the dessert menu and could not go past the trio of beer inspired ice creams. 10/10 with great service. Look forward to visiting again soon. PS. Those donuts were out the gate 💛

Very popular brewery and restaurant for good reasons. The food is fantastic, awesome beer selection and great atmosphere. Something for everyone and family friendly. Just make sure you book if you want a table as it’s often full.

Fantastic beer. Staff who are genuinely keen on helping you choose. Did I say great beer? A huge range of really different brews but all immaculately executed. Didn't stay for food yet but will be back.

Was a very friendly welcome. Felt like they treated everyone like a local. Fast and attentive service. Good range of craft beers and enjoyed my Charcuterie Board. The beer flavoured ice cream was a bit underwhelming. Kids burger on the table next to me looked yum. Only real downer was the men’s toilets reeked of urine. Otherwise was a nice trendy venue with good vibe. Would go back.

Loved the flavours of the two beers I tried and every dish was delicious and well presented. Highly recommended! Will definitely look up this beer at home! Friendly and efficient service too.

Great lunch enjoyed by adults and child. The asparagus was delicious. We also really enjoyed the goat flat bread and lamb ribs. My husband enjoyed a tasting paddle with four different beers. Nice spot especially with the open air roof out the back. My son was also delighted to receive a Christmas gift. A very nice gesture from Shining Peak Brewing.

Beautiful place just to sit and enjoy great live music, food, drinks, company snd pleasant conversation with friends and meeting new people. This place you can feel free getting up to dance and just mellow in the moment.

We popped in on a very busy Friday night expecting long wait times, however were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and friendliness of staff. The place is well known for their beers but as a non-drinker I opted for their mango cocktail- which was light and quite lovely with our meal. From the small plates, we got their truffle fries and honey chicken, and one main: the fish of the day to share. Overall I really enjoyed our food, especially the fish dish

Went with my son for a causal dinner. The food was fantastic. Small plates or large. We had 3 small plates and some truffle oil fries which where the best fries we had ever tasted. The flavours of the food was amazing. Great beer. I like a sour so was very happy with the Pomegranate and Lime sour, so had another 😋. Would definitely recommend a visit.

An absolute must if you are passing through New Plymouth. The service is fantastic, the people are friendly and the food is great. As is the brewery and beers.

Great spot close to the waterfront! Lovely staff, excellent food, and fresh beers! My only regret is not being in New Plymouth enough to keep going to this place til I've worked my way through everything on their menu! The Green Meadows Beef Burger was outstanding!

Great beers! Staff was proactive and helpfull. Food here was good, we had the burger and the salmon. And if you are here definetly go for the trio beer ice cream dessert. Best dessert I have ever had.

Love going here on the live music Sundays! Always amazing vibes, awesome food, the best Bloody Mary ever and the staff are so friendly, on it and fun. Make sure you a book a table in advance 😉

Had the pleasure of visiting Shining Peak Brewing during a recent conference with work. We had the best time! Fabulous staff, awesome tour of the brewing process, excellent beer and delicious food. An all round awesome atmosphere. Love their 5% project giving back to their community. Can't wait to get back here again!

Excellent dining experience. Over a few hours on a busy bank holiday sunday evening we ate most of the small plates and snacks off the menu and they were all outstanding. Delicious flavours, beautifully presented and came out in great time. Arnold our waiter was friendly, attentive, fast and never let our drinks run low. The other staff serving us were friendly as well. Very impressed. Great beer, perfectly complimented by excellent staff and food ;-)

Absolutely amazing staff! The food is great. I've had a few things off the menu and here is the burger I choose on my last visit! Let's not forget the drinks! Wide selection to choose from. I'd recommend booking in advance as it gets busy!

Such a great vibe. Best ceviche we have ever had. Outstanding service. The staff are all super friendly and fun.
