Pretty cute place with amazing vegan food. I had an Italian hero sandwich and it was delicious, from the bread to the filling. Everything looked tasty, will definitely visit again next time I’m in NYC!

bright / pretty new spot with an exceptionally good bbq chicken sandwich. smash burger is also great. the owner Perry seems like a chill guy, the staff are all friendly / enthusiastic about their products, and i will definitely be returning (often).

Food was good but not mind-blowingly good. I may come back to try more things. Expensive for what it is…and what it is is tiny portions. Left hungry and had to go somewhere else for more food. Hate to leave less than 5 stars for vegan places but here we are ugh.

The team at Garden Carver hosted an after-wedding breakfast for us and our family and friends earlier this month. In contrast to other vegan restaurants we had reached out to, Garden Carver was both affordable and accommodating to our requests, and more than willing to collaborate with us on a fixed menu. The food was delicious as always, and even our non-vegan guests were raving about it afterwards. My fan and I were fans of Garden Carver before our event, but now I guess you can say we are SUPER FANS! If you're looking to host a private event, I can't recommend Garden Carver highly enough. And if you've never had their food, please do yourself a favor and buy some of their cheeses.

This is such a cute local shop. I had a cold brew and quiche. Both were great! Comfortable seats, good AC, nice space to sit down with a laptop and sip morning coffee, and it looks like they’ll be offering food very soon. They had croissants, and other small pastries available.

I was super impressed with Garden Carver! As someone who still eats meat, I love trying vegan substitutes to see what else is out there. The meatballs in their spicy rigatoni were out of this world, vegan or otherwise! I ate at a fancy traditional Italian yesterday and honestly I preferred the Garden Carver’s meatballs! Vegans & all will find something to love here.

Really cute cafe with great specialty drinks. I'm not vegan, but I love stopping by to try their seasonal drinks. The blueberry lavender latte and the vanilla mint lattes are excellent. Also, the staff are always very kind and helpful. Great neighborhood spot!

This is one of the best meatball subs I have ever had. For those who are vegan-curious or plant based experts, truly this is the place for you. 10000/10 will be returning

This place is magical. Definitely try the Meatball Hero!! The chicken salad is also amazing:) I am not vegan but I cannot tell any difference - the taste, texture and the seasoning, everything comes perfectly together. I heard their vegan pastry and coffee is also very good so will definitely come back to try more items on the menu. So happy we have such a nice plant-based place in the neighborhood. Great spot for everyone whether you are vegan or not!🙌🙌

Amazing plant based food and drinks and very friendly staff! I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the cosy space. Vegan grilled cheese sandwich and cinnamon rolls a must try.

My new favorite café. Staff is super nice and the store always has so many interesting products if you’re looking for items that are vegan or just have cleaner ingredients. I ordered the hot apple cider (delicious) as well as a cinnamon roll from the pastry bar to stay. I didn’t except it to be warmed up but it was and that was a nice surprise that made my experience even better. Will definitely be coming back more just to try out other items on their menu.

Stopped in for lunch while shopping, I'm vegan and my wife is not. Owner was working the counter and was great, he recommended the meatball hero, absolutely delicious. We also got the grilled cheese which was perfect and came with just the right amount of soup for dipping. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend.

Super friendly place awesome sandwiches. We brought our dog who then became the star of the shop and got a treat and a puppachino! The food was great, we had the meatball sub and breakfast sandwich and will definitely be back to try more things. It's the sort of place you can quickly get chatting to the next table because it attracts a friendly group and the owner and staff's cheery mood is infectious. Loved it!

This s*%t is FIRE. The sauces are all homemade, the bread is fresh, and of course the butcher “meat” is super flavorful. Nice people working here. Highly recommend!

Paris in Williamsburg : A Paradise for Vegans Jazz music and sweet flowers drew me in to this adorable vegan cafe-restaurant. The staff is lovely and I ordered the “lox and cream cheese” on a croissant and it was perfection! The next time I returned and wanted something sweet-the almond croissant was on point ! There’s a great wine list and, on the dark and rainy day, I closed my eyes and was transported to Paris in the best of ways. Y’all vegans, come in and support this dear sweet place!

The smash burger was the best vegan burger I've EVER had. The staff were so friendly. Will be back very soon.

Incredible Vegan sandwiches. Bread was soft and fluffy! I have a hard time chewing most sandwiches and I could chew these with no problem. There was so much flavor! We got the meatball hero (the meatballs were quite generous and the sauce and the Italian hero and both were delicious. Next time will try the charcuterie which also looked amazing. Prices were very fair for portion sizes and I was full for hours after!

This place completely exceeded our expectations. We went twice in one day! The bbq chicken sandwich was so flavorful and different. The smash burger is great and the meatball hero is amazing. They cook the sauce for 5 hours! My husband insists that it’s the best sauce he’s ever had, and growing up in an Italian household, that says a lot. Also, the best vegan chocolate chip cookie (so good warmed up!) Definitely would recommend and will definitely be back.

Some of the best Vegan pastries I’ve ever had in Williamsburg. Everything from the food to the coffee is sourced locally and they have plenty of vegan snacks if you are not feeling a full meal. Try your coffee with the homemade lavender syrup! You will no be disappointed.

This place is simply amazing!! Healthy, tasty and vegan, hard to believe it’s so good! Highly recommend. Also has excellent drinks, baked goods and snacks!

I’m barely vegan. Their breakfast croissant was incredible. Whether you’re vegan or not. Worth checking out.

i’m not even exaggerating when i say this was the best hero i’ve ever had. the baguette was perfectly toasted and balanced with a chewy texture. the sauce was *chefs kiss* delicious. the meatballs… perfect. the cheese? not overpowering like a lot of vegan cheeses! and the garlic? garlic girlies — this one’s for you!! we’ve been vegan a little over a year now (& vegetarian for 4 years prior) and it’s been hard to find the perfect substitutes for my pre-veg life favorites. this meatball hero has made it to the top of my list of staples when dining out. on top of that — all the staff was so kind and welcoming! my husband and i are def going to make this a regular spot (photos aren’t the best but it’s all i have!)

The garden carver is my new go to. Such an adorable and cozy spot. The food is AMAZING - highly recommend the burger and the meatball sub. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Plus… they give pup cups !!
