Lovely beach and park. For Bahamians who haven't been here in a while, the beach has been cleaned and now it is absolutely gorgeous to go and swim in. It's the next Cabbage beach. It really looks that much better.

Great Beach shaded areas from the Sun Waters just beautiful

This is a public beach. We took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal or i say this way. We walked passed few blocks away from the pier and taxi rate is cheaper. Yes. We flagged one and we are lucky the driver brought us to different location and had a semi your. Spent an hour in Atlantis he waited for us. He drove us to this place and wow..blue water and white sand. Clean public beach. He said he will pick us up after 3 hours. We enjoyed swimming and playing on this beach. Its beautiful. Then the taxi guy came to bring back to the pier. He gave us a bit more tour around. He did charge decent price but since he was a good tourist guide too we gave him a good tip.

Goodmans Bay is a lovely area for both a park and a beach, side by side. The beach is long and great for walking (despite amount seaweed brought in by tide) it runs behind BahaMar thus lots of holiday makers there. There are opportunities to rent jet skies go on boat trips etc. The park is good for running/walking laps there a path and the inner area is grass with a small amount of children's play area. Parking is limited. But iv always been lucky. There are stories of car break-ins however I have never experienced this thankfully. Over all a great place

It has a good track for jogging and a big enough field for many exercise groups. The beach itself is well kept during summer months and big enough for a lot of people. I only don't like the jet skins in the area but at least the buoys keep them away from the shore.

We enjoyed it here. Not that crowded but a little bit more dirty than in the "resort beaches". The shades of the trees are very helpful, because it can get very hot here. The water is nice! All in all I think everybody should make is own opinion.

Nice beach, sand reminds me of siesta key. water is what you would expect from Caribbean - clear and warm.

Goodman Bay Park - in addition to a nice public beach and park, most days there was a tent selling salad, raisin buns, BBQ chicken or BBQ pork chops. They pack up around 3. This was one of our best meals in the Bahamas, $30 with enough leftovers for dinner!

Clean beach, but I didn't visit at the best time unfortunately. Hurricane Lee churned up a lot debris in the water

The beach is gorgeous! You can walk from end to end. There are areas that are roped off for swimming. You can get chairs and umbrellas for a fee. Jetskis and boats are available for hire. We walked there almost everyday.

A great place to exercise🏃🏽‍♀️ bring the kids to swing and slide, your pets to run along in the sand and take a swim. just cool and beautiful with shaded cassurina trees to sit under and chill out

Lovely views, relaxing place. Just a lot of water sports vendors who keep asking you if you want to rent equipment

nice beach butt there are lots of people on jet skis and the beach is a little dirty. a couple of veneers there one selling rum and vodka right in the pineapple or coconut

Excellent beach and park used for fitness and other activities but the authorities need to take control of persons driving their car onto the park where people are exercising, plus they need to supervise jet skis that drive through parking lot without care or concern for pedestrians in the area. The parking area on the west end needs to be better laid out and better marked out.

Good news Bay Park is a very spacious and inviting public park that is not far from the cable Beach strip. A great place with locals love to relax but tourists are invited to enjoy the scenery and the beauty of the park as well as the neighboring Beach. The track also has a playground for children as well as children at heart. A 400 meter track for exercising and nothing but grass in the center, open recreational space.
