We used to go to Singh’s on Liberty Ave. when we came to town, but after reading the reviews we had to try this place. When we got there the line was out the door to the street corner so we knew it had to be good. We ordered Curry Chicken w/roti and five doubles. I was a little disappointed there was no place to sit and eat. We ended up eating the doubles as we walked back to the subway station. I didn’t even have a chance to take a picture. The doubles were perfect and we will be back to get them again. We ate the chicken curry when we got back to our hotel room and it was just as good. Not sure I will ever try anything else because I like what I like and I really like their doubles. Bake and shark seems to be very popular here. Maybe we will get that next time. The food is great, service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable. You get a lot of food for what you pay.

Best trini food in the tri-state area period. no one comes close to this place in 5 boro's. I have tried everything, and it is so good that I have tasted. The taste and authenticity are phenomenal. Real home food cooking from your favorite tanty.. for a super busy place from open to close the food is always good never had a bad experience here food is always on point and delicious. All the staff in this place deserve appreciation for the great service they provide from the cashiers, preparers, and cooks. You guys rock.

SO GOOD! Best doubles in the tri-state area. I came here on a Friday night from Jersey and waited in line for an hour to order and get food and it was 100% worth it. It's quite chaotic, but the workers are very nice and helpful.

So, last Saturday, around 3:00 PM, we wanted doubles, and my mother, sister, and I headed to Trinciti Roti Shop & Restaurant in Queens, New York. We bought ten doubles. Consume seven on Saturday and left the other three for breakfast on Sunday, only to find a fingernail in one of them. I immediately called the establishment and left a message and contact information. I got no return call from them, so we drove back to the business. A representative from the company told us the best she can do is give us back some doubles or a refund. We found that response to be unacceptable and left.

I recommend getting the buss up shut they are big and taste nice. My family and I enjoyed our doubles but the channa could of used a bit more spice. It was super busy when we came with the line going out the door.

I’ve been many places in search of the closest flavors to home food in its extensive balance from childhood. Trinciti Roti is the epitome of it all to me. Many has been flavorless, “watered down”, expensive, not worth it for the money, heart burn of an unforgettable experience BUT not here my friends… From breakfast favorites consisting of an array of vegetables prepared in its vast culinary uniqueness from sautéing, roasting to “chunkay” that brings out an addictive appetite for more of it especially with hot homemade ROTI-every soft, tasty, flaky crumb of it to soak up all the yumminess that you can wash down with the fresh juices in house or from back home. Faces have changed over the years, expansion, menu, but the food, the CONSISTENCY in its flavor, the culture when you walk in hasn’t been replaced but evolved with new customers, new favorites and again-the richness in flavor remains-plus the staple of our country-DOUBLES-line usually around the corner. Always expect a wait but so worth it. The food is a GUARANTEE for the price being that I’d travel miles when avoiding the various steps, time, skill, and patience it takes making some of these delectable dishes. Home away from home!-(Heard their bake and shark is better that back home in Trini-any contradiction?-would love the feedback… Loyal customer for many years-will be as long as it continues it’s great work in keeping our culture true through our food and hospitality.

Line was long to do the door and I could smell the curry from down the block so you know they burnt that ish well ! There was a sign on the line saying If you skip the line you’re going outside so that just lets you know , they be fighting up in this spot. One hour later finally my turn to order and the greedy spirit took over. Grabbed a small zoomerz cause you know ( portion control) that snack never misses! Next up bake with shark, poulouri with tamarind sauce and curry chicken roti. The workers were polite, prepared the food with gloves and the food was delicious !! There is no sitting area so grab and go people ! Check them out .

Prepare yourself to wait and be patient. When you see a line in a shop you already know the spot is going to be a vibe. I ordered four doubles and picked up their scorpion hot pepper sauce. Every bite was a “hmmmmmmm”! I traveled from PA to scoop this up and I don’t regret it!

Saturday line was long, but the food was good! Worth the wait! I tried doubles and some shark, it was delicious! Also stocked up on some fresh roti! It was excellent! Update: Went today going to get bake and shark but that's only available on the weekend 😓 got some goat doubles and it was delicious!

The food and the speedy service.. At first you might think the wait would be long but they attack that line.. The food is so DELICIOUS and the prices are very good... I ate oxtail doubles, chicken roti, peanut punch and the sweet bun.. SO NICE..

This place is ALWAYS busy so it’s smart to order ahead. I ordered two doubles. One with chutney and one with cucumbers and both were very delicious and authentic. I ask for the pumpkin and curry potato with Dhalpuri Roti and it was perfect! I keep seeing complaints about service. Keep in mind this place is very high volume. The staff weren’t unpleasant or unprofessional any time I’ve been here - just very busy!

My first time at Trinciti and I just wanted to try the Bake n shark because my husband is from Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 and he's told me so much about it. The line on Saturday was soooo long but let me tell you, I'm glad we waited because it was worth it. 😁 Oh my goodness, from the first bite I was hooked on the bake n shark. (See I learned that it's bake n shark, not shark n bake 👀😁). The flavor combo of the crispy yet tender shark with the pineapple and cucumber, slight peppa, Omg... the sauces (oh yes, I heard Trini's love their sauce)... OMG I fell in love. Now, don't get me wrong, I am definitely going back to try their other dishes, but the bake n shark is my absolute favorite. I have to make it a weekend tradition 😁 And you should too🙌🏽

Heard about the place on IG. I knew I couldn't waste any time to get there. A plethora of doubles. My shrimp double was fantastic. Goat curry is so flavorful and with the pumpkin and buss up shot; my stomach is pleased. Definitely will return and bringing friends with me.

Wow! DELICIOUS. The bake and shark was exquisite. The flavors are still jumping in my mouth. The coconut bread was light and tasty, the sauces were overwhelmingly satisfying, the pineapple adds such a fresh and sweet taste, I can go on and on. This place is definitely a 5 star Trini shop. The doubles were the best and the vegetable platter was also very satisfying. Worth the drive from westchester county.

I ordered from here today on Uber Eats after not eating here for years. And while the food was decent it isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit any more. Personally I foound the flavor of the curry to be lacking ...I've grown up making curry and clapping roti with relatives and I honestly find Glorias I&O in Brooklyn (Nostrand) to have a more flavorful curry. That being said I like the paratha to be a good quantity for the amount and tasty... if I could combine their paratha/buss up shut with GI&O curry it would be Heavenly as Gloria's always gives you a lil bit of buss up shut. The doubles I ordered from.Trincity and the puhlourie were delicious. The tambran sauce was thick and sweet with flavor, not the watered down stuff that other roti shops.give you. AND they give you sauce not just dump tambran sauce on your puhlorie.

So worth the wait! You must arrive patient and not starving, then you’ll enjoy the experience. It’s a little hectic to order, but the food was so flavorful and cheap that you just gotta trust the process. I got doubles: oxtail, boneless chicken, and potato, as well as aloo pies: boneless chicken and potato. All amazing! Makes for surprisingly good breakfast leftovers, too.

You know the food is good. The male cashier is cool. But the ladies serving are not friendly. Perhaps overworked, but their faces are not welcoming. Attitude greets you before you open your mouth. Trinidadians are friendly... just not at trincity.

I always hit this place when visiting fam in Queens 😁 We pulled up at 7a.m, no line, the middle of our order, line out the door. I ordered 2 bone-in curry chicken roti, 2 beef roti loaded with hot pepper sauce, of course, the server lady jokingly asked me if I'm staying home with all that pepper sauce I got.😆 Bake and sharks & some bakery treats. All taste great‼️ Excellent service!! They serve rotis separate if you want which worked well for me to freeze and take some back with me San Diego, Cali. A++ for sure. No Trini food for me out here unless I make it myself ✌🏽😘

Bake and shark was bigger than I expected and the doubles were worth the trip. Don't let the long lines fool you, it goes fast. What stood out was how friendly the workers and the patrons were. I recommend!

Had the buss up shut with oxtail from Trinciti. Buss up shut was soft and really well layered, it was definitely enough to finish up all the oxtail. Oxtail itself was really tender, was really easy to rip the meat off the bone. The gravy could have been more spicy, but still delicious! Not in the picture, but had an Aloo Pie also, which was good. The line was packed but the service was phenomenal! Staff was swift in taking everyone's order. I would recommend having Trinciti atleast once, definitely recommended trying buss up shut with oxtail. Can't wait to try more items on the menu!

Is the line long? Yes. Is the food worth the wait? Also yes. Think about it like this - it's closer than flying 2 Trinidad. This is my favorite Trini spot, however, it easily has some of the best food in all of NYC. It's made fresh and with high quality ingredients and love.

Good food. Fairy efficient service but super stupid setup if you want to get bake & shark. So I get in the restaurant & there is about 25 ppl on like, I get about 1/4 way in & I ask someone at the front of the line to ask if they have bake & shark. They do but several customers tell me I have to hit straight to the cashier to order bake & shark & pay for it beforehand. So I spent out line, order 2 bake & shark & 5 doubles & 2 chicken doubles, she tells me I have to rejoin the line to order the other stuff & then pay again. Make it make sense! I just left But, not being a hater, their food is generally good & the service when I had previously been there was always decent & the line is generally moved at an ok pace but no reason to order 2 differnt time & pays 2 times, it makes no sense. If you want to get anything else outside of bake & shark, it’s a 5 star takeout restaurant.

First time (shocking) visiting The famous Trinity and very happy that I did!!!! The Shark n'Bake was absolutely Delicious!!!!! (Thank goodness I ordered 3!!!) I also ordered doubles, plait bread, pinetart, cheese roll, buss-up-shot and poularie. All very tasty!!!!. I did LEARN exactly HOW to order when going there so my next visit will go smoothly!

I had seen this restaurant on the Instagram and based on the reviews, I wanted to give it a shot. I decided make an extra trip to this restaurant and the good thing was that I didn’t have to wait outside of the store but the line inside the store was huge as well. I went ahead and placed the order for doubles and loved it so much. At the end, I had some questions for the owner and he was so friendly to let me take pictures of the restaurant updated menu and halal certification where they receive halal meat from. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you around the area since they provide quality food with awesomely affordable price.

Got some roti skins, they were excellent! But the doubles was a miss for me. The customer service was good though the cashier was really polite and friendly! I should say both cashiers were really nice!

My coworkers put me on to place they pick up me some doubles and you have extra time because the line go out the door.

If you going to this place, ask for boneless chicken doubles with everything inside. It's a must, believe me it's delicious if you are into the spice food, otherwise no spice bit it's not gonna taste the same. Prepare for the big lines just to ask for your meal but it's worth it.. enjoy it

The shop is very busy, line outside is packed with people and inside as well. It’s quite hectic when ordering because you don’t know which person you should speak to. Though the experience was a bit overwhelming, the food was worth it.

This is a true hidden gem!! It is always crowded so you know it is amazing! From the aroma as you walk in to getting your food when you leave, it is an experience. Fast service and everything on the menu is excellent. You can't go wrong. Be mindful of the line but it is always worth it!!! Prices aren't bad at all and there is plenty to choose from. Chicken, fish, beef, pork, goat, etc. Pie, roti, doubles. There's something for everyone!! A true place to get the best fixings!! Satisfying hunger every single time.
