The service was absolutely outstanding and you could tell immediately that there was passion for what they do. Such a cool, classic NY style, hole in the wall kinda joint that we all love. I got the crispy wrap (as recommended) and it was delicious. I had to tell myself to slow down because I was straight up housing it. Everything was fresh. I honestly contemplated ordering more food because I just wanted to see what else they do so right. I do happen to be vegan but I’m telling ya right now - if you love good food, then you’ll love this place. I’ll be going back for sure. Bravo to the Vegan Grill!

The food is really good but service and atmosphere could be better. I mean, there’s no music, not much sitting and a woman that works there looked like she would rather be in different places. But i can totally recommend a nachoburger!

The vegan crunch wrap was delicious. My mom had the impossible burger which she said was also very good. I’d love to come back! It’s so hard to find good vegan cheese but I think this place has done it!

Our party of four selected different items on the menu and found all of them to be scrumptious. Ginger beer could have been a bit stronger but was still refreshing. Its a small establishment with very limited seating. We sat outside where there are two small tables wedged in a little nook next to entrance. Smaller, square tables might work better for this space given the limitations of space. Its worth noting that there are a few stairs to reach the entrance which would be difficult for elderly, disabled or stollers. Carry out might work best. I gave the service 2 stars due to complacent attitude and comment "I gave you napkins" when requesting an additional one. What mattered most was the food and on this point they delivered.

LOVE THIS SPOT! My fav is the buffalo chicken wrap! All vegan! They are kind and respectful. They have never messed up my order. Today is Sunday April 24,2022 @9:30pm they close @9:00pm they close on time. We came about twenty minutes before. They let us sit and enjoy our food. The food never disappoints. I always go here! I love it! Even came here for Valentine’s Day. Imma post the photos of me here on Valentine’s Day and the food I ate which was a chicken sandwich and my boo had a crunch wrap!

The food was so so and bland. considering that it's a bit pricey for the lack of quality. Although you would think that they would compensate all of the above with excellent service that's attentive. Service at this establishment gave me a feeling that I was lucky to be there. Even though I was one of only two people in this place. I guess my order must have somehow stopped the conversation between the cashier and his friend that was just hanging out at the time. And he was way too engrossed in the conversation with said friend. That he completely forgot to even give me my full order that I had paid for. This place is a solid 2 stars at best.

We are visiting NY and staying in the East Village. I came across this cafe while searching for a vegan place nearby. This is a small space, but they make the most of it. Based on many great reviews I decided to try the crunch wrap and was not disappointed. It was DELICIOUS! In fact, I may go back today, since they have some great options that I would like to try. My husband is pretty picky when it comes to food, but he agreed it's a 5-star place. So from both of us you get a 10-star review. Thank you!

Stopped here for lunch on a rainy day, and the food was super delicious. It’s a small place, but they did have some indoor seating. I ordered the tostadas and a vanilla milkshake. The tostadas were the perfect portion for a lunch for me, and the milkshake was nice and smooth. My mom got the Crunchwrap, and really enjoyed it, and she’s not even vegan.

Perfect hangover brunch. Nacho burger improved my day dramatically. Very chill staff. Worth it!

I am speechless, the wings and the beef kofta wrap were unbelievably delicious. The buffalo wings had a perfect crispy outside and dense texture inside. Literally the best vegan wings I’ve ever had. The beef kofta, AMAZING! The “meat” was seasoned so well and the vegan white sauce over the fresh mixed salad 😍😍 wow just wow. I’m glad I remembered to take pics before I finished it all. I love eating here, shout-out to Vegan Grill for never disappointing 🙌🏼💪🏼❤️

Delicious 100% vegan fast food, affordable prices, lots of options. However: - fries dont come with the burgers - they did not accept omelet orders at 9pm - impossible burger was missing tomatoes and grilled onions, for the double first wanted to charge extra 3usd instead of 2usd.

I was excited being that it’s not many vegan restaurants around here. The wait time was extremely long but, if the food was worth it then I would have understood. The chicken sandwich was horrible no season it looks like they just threw the cheese and lettuce on the bun. I would NOT recommend

FOOD IS SO BAD! My husband ordered pancakes they were uncooked, couldn’t eat them 🫠 and he ordered a bowl for himself and they put eggplant in the bowl, how do you guys know if he likes eggplant or have allergies? You can’t just substitute ingredients without asking to the customer, and don’t let me talk about “ the cauliflower rice” just disgusting.

1000/1000 food was delicious and amazing. Even tho it was vegan that did not affect the flavor at all. For someone with a lactose intolerance. This place was heaven!!

The food wasn't bad - I like that there are plenty of vegan proteins to choose from and lots of them could be gluten-free. I got the Just Egg omelette with some vegan cheese and veggies. (Forgot to tell them that I didn't want toast but I just didn't eat it.) Nice and filling, tasted decent (though could have used more seasoning or even just a bit of salt). Then I saw MOUSE run across the base of the wall. Yes, I get that it's probably difficult to avoid rodents in these older buildings even if you're not a restaurant. But it's made me hesitate wanting to go back.

The food was great, I was so happy to find this place. I haven’t had a lot on the menu but everything I had was delicious. My only point for improvement would be the atmosphere. It’s a bit on the dumpy side and not a place I want to spend much time in.

3 stars for atmosphere because there were a lot of flies so it made me question what the kitchen looked like but the food was really yummy and it's been a week or longer since I visited and I never got sick so I guess we're good lol. The nachos are absolutely loaded and delicious, so much flavor and filling! Didn't need the fries after all the nachos but they're the best kind of fries because they're thin and crispy 😍 would definitely return.

Food was delicious!! And hands down the best carrot cake I've ever eaten. It was so nice to find this gem which was open later than other vegan places. We were only in NYC for a short period of time otherwise I would of went back again and again. The owner was very friendly and even took the time to get to know us.

The chopped cheese was suuuper tasty. I highly recommend you try it 👍🏼 The location space is small but the restaurant carries a large menu of NY classics. I ordered the chopped cheese and it was definitely a 10/10. The gentleman who took our order was also very pleasant and professional in our visit. A very hospitable experience. I would definitely recommend others try this location. Bring your non-vegan friends, too. They’ll be satisfied.

Popped in and had a crunch wrap. There was a little wait but to be honest it was worth it. Was really tasty. The guy on the counter was super polite if a little shy and serving other people as well just great service. Food was delicious would go again and likely order take out as well as seating is a small as it's a small place so can imagine it fills up quick.

Recently opened, this place is running on pure sacrifice. This spot is a dream that was brought to life. The men running the show are truly dedicated and hardworking and it shows. I will admit, I am bias. I've followed their journey from their original location in The Bronx. This location has much more to offer than their other two locations. Indoor and eventually, outdoor dining options will both be available. Their menu is extensive - Serving up a little bit of everything. I had the pleasure of trying one of their creamy pasta dishes only available at this location, and it was absolutely delicious. The meal was satisfying & would you believe me if I told you it had vegan shrimp? I'll include photos below. Totally recommend. They've worked hard to get here & it is well deserved. Nicely done !!
